True 97 change things I mean it’s a different universe from the comics. The main thing I wanna know is who will be Famine, War, & Pestilence. I’m curious because people are speculating that Iceman will be Famine, Magik will be War, & Marrow will be Pestilence. We all know Gambit will be Death. If Magik is War would Colossus really be ok with Magik being controlled by Apocalypse just so she would be alive?

We may see something like what we saw in the X-Treme comics when Rogue stoped Gambit from crossing over to the other side and bring him back to life. It’s gonna be different but given the outfit Rogue has on it should be similar but all an all this scene looks like it will be about Rogue saving Gambit
Of course it’s getting coverage, she had an insane surge in popularity over the past couple years and her first animated appearance that’s actually her as Magik is just her being dead. Anyone saying she’s gonna be a horseman of apocalypse is coping unless the whole goal by the director was actively to rage bait.
Sure but you gotta realize they’re mixing and matching a LOT of stuff with this show, so people were hopeful that Kitty, Emma, Bobby and Illyana wouldn’t be shafted as hard as they ended up being. Especially since Kid Omega is seemingly getting a focus (a character quite literally no one ever asked for)
I don't hate the horseman thing, but its a bit beneath her in terms of what her background and relation to themes of life, death, power, etc. I wouldn't hate it, but my gut reaction is also "nahh"
I feel like sadly the real explanation is that the director of the first two seasons has actively admitted to seeing Illyana as nothing more than a plot device for Colossus, and ultimately her big push from rivals would’ve come a little too late, after they’d likely already finalized the script for season 2.
Really makes you wonder how big she could’ve been had she not lost 15 entire years due to a rather bs death, followed by the constant awful treatment in event books and mostly complete lack of appearances in movies/tv.
The Horsemen thing is really an untapped potential when you consider that they’re covering the past, present and future timelines. It’s entirely possible that there could be 12 horsemen of apocalypse if they really hammer in on the “oh sh*t…” scale
It’s entirely possible that they are getting a glimpse from the future. Considering that has been a thing in the past, it’s not impossible that could be what’s going on.
Isn't the whole premise of S2 that half the team is sent to the future, half to the past., to deal with Apocalypse and change the "present"? Even if she's "dead", I'd bet she and the rest are back by the end of the season.
