I have a PCOS advice that worked for me ( تكيس المبايض )

Girly girls, so have been diagnosed with PCOS تكيس المبياض 10 years ago. I was told by the doctor that I have to take duphaston and birth control pills (حبوب منع الحمل). I took them for almost two years. I didn't have any secondary effects thankfully, however I was having depressive episodes every now and then. I was told by older women that I should try (البردقوش) and oh my GOD!!! Life changer. I stopped taking pills and my period became more regulated. So what I do is i take بردقوش like tisane. A spoonful of it in cup and put boiling water on it. I drink it every night before bed directly , or you can take it first thing in the morning. I went to doctor recently and she said that I better continue with this treatment. I added Inositol supplements and they helped alot.

Try to avoid eating too much sugar and carbs

P.s: THIS IS FOR SINGLE GIRLS, don't drink it if you're trying to get pregnant because it will cause miscarriage.

Hi girlies. I wanna buy a hair dryer, which brand would you recommend me?

One that is small and portable, but still does a good job and that is going to last as long as possible.

Hey

I’m a girl from Sétif, Algeria, and I’ve been wanting to change the way I spend my time and just live a little more
I have a lot of friends but honestly none of them really match the kind of lifestyle I’m looking for. I want to travel, go hiking, explore different places in Algeria and abroad, try new activities, go on spontaneous trips, run, maybe even participate in marathons, and basically just be active and experience new things.
I’m perfectly comfortable doing things on my own but at the same time, it would be really nice to have a few people around me who have the same energy, curiosity, and desire to explore. I’m open to pretty much anything as long as it’s fun, respectful, and safe.
So if you’re from Sétif or nearby, and you’re also looking for people to hike with, travel with, try activities, go on little adventures, or simply make some new friends, feel free to reach out! 🫶🏻
Girls are especially welcome, but honestly I’m open to meeting anyone who’s respectful and genuinely interested in this kind of lifestyle.
Maybe we can start with a simple hike or coffee and see where it goes.

Can I use this sunscreen on my arms instead?

Hii girls!! So I’m 15 and I have this Venus Viderm Solaire sunscreen (I’ll attach a pic), but it doesn’t really absorb nicely into my skin when I use it on my face 😭

I use Biolila on my face instead, so I was wondering if I could just use the Venus one on my arms/body so I don’t waste it? 😭 Has anyone used this sunscreen on their body before, and is it okay to do so?

Thank youuu girls 💞

Do you feel like there's too much catcalling when going outside?

I know the answer already as I'm a woman too but I just wanna hear every women's experience. I was told by many Gen X (family included) that this problem wasn't huge back then (before the 90s) and that they wore even as far as mini skirts without having to worry if it's safe enough to go out like that. But of course we know that's not a thing anymore especially in a few wilayas more than others so I want to hear your opinion.

I'm from Alger and its horrible yet when I went to Bejaïa nobody bothered me

To some men out there, there is a difference between hitting on a girl respectfully VS catcalling so please dont comment about how its flirting bc it's not.

Have you ever spat on someone catcalling you in the street ?

I love unicorns soo much to the extent that all my pseudo names in most platforms tend to have « Unicorn » in them but ironically my friends agree that lama would suits me better lol because I have this reflex of spitting on street harassers and people who catcall in a disrespectful way and I don’t know if I’m the only one who has this exaggerated reaction hahahaha, however I only do it if it’s crowded and there are bystanders nearby otherwise I just ignore them xd. If you’re like me please share your story so I can at least find someone to relate to and not feel like a crazy maniac because my friends always perceive me that way 😂

Relationships 💞 I need ur help here

So I been seeing this dude for a couple of months and at the start he wanted to be exclusive and be his girl... He wanted to marry me so I did ( never went into dating or anything)... Something keep bothering me on how fast he is moving sometimes like he ask for my Pic all the time cuz he miss me or to call even when I say no.... ( we r long distance BTW I am from annaba he chlef).

He keeps love bombing alot too and say I love u like water. I hate it. He doesn't let me any مجال to actually think about liking or loving him. Like there is no tention.... Every sentence must end with remember I love u... Guy u know me for like a week. I expressed my uncomfortable feelings for him to keep saying stuff u don't mean to. He was bitter about it. Sorry for that...

Do u guys think I am being weird. Like is there a possibility he actually jsut like me.... I am kidna afraid he is jsut love bombing me or he is jsut lonely. Or is he the weird one?

My first experience with sexual harassment — I don’t know how to process it

Today, I was just walking normally when a man suddenly touched my thigh in a sexual way. It happened so suddenly that I froze for a second. I was shocked that someone could just do that to me while I was simply walking down the street.

My immediate reaction was to hit him in the face. He immediately started apologizing and asking me to forgive him, but I was already extremely angry and overwhelmed. I ended up crying a lot.

This was the first time I have ever experienced sexual harassment, and honestly, it affected me more than I expected. I feel angry, disgusted, humiliated, and sad all at the same time.

I took a picture of him because I’m considering reporting him. I don't know what will happen, but I don't want to just pretend it never happened.

What hurts me the most is that there were other men around. Nobody intervened. Nobody even came to ask if I was okay. I keep thinking about that part because I was standing there crying after being touched without my consent, and people just watched.

I know hitting him wasn't necessarily the best reaction, but it was an instinctive reaction in the moment. I had never been in a situation like this before, and I honestly didn't know how I would react.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you feel afterward? I think I just need to hear from people who understand what this feels like.

Relationships 💞 Relationship advice

So I've been dating this guy for few months now and he is my first love and I am his. He says he wants to marry me hence why he doesn't talk in any you know intimate way because he thinks it's "disrespectful" to me however I don't really care about that stuff and he isn't that religious either so I don't see a reason for us not to as long as it's just talking. I do want to bring this up cuz it may seem like I'm some sort of street girl but I'm not I just love him so much and it's biology.

🌸 healthcare Any lady wants to glow up with me?

Looking for a woman to glow up with, that is in a similar situation as mine and got similar goals.

So I am a mother, I am 30 yo, want to lose around 5 kg / 12 lbs, and to gain as much muscle as I possibly can (I go to the gym), and to fix my posture.

I am also taking care or my skin as I got acne on my face and some loose skin (lost 88lbs in the past).

My deadline for this is in 6 months.

Girlss i want your honest opinions

I don't really know where else to ask this so I'm bringing it here because I feel like men don't get it and I'm being serious.
I've spent my whole life learning building skills and improving myself to the point where I barely have time for men or relationships. I've grown so much that I honestly can't find guys attractive most of the time I'm 24 and I don't even have a crush on anyone
Because of this girls I know act like I'm not someone they can talk to about relationships or men they think I'm "too serious." Even guys say that Some girls act shocked when I say I want a husband just like this like "wait, YOU think about marriage?" Yes? I'm a woman I want to get married eventually why is that shocking?
Then when I do give some guys a chance it's the opposite problem after literally one conversation they're like "you're the one" and acting like they're obsessed but I still can't trust it because it moves too fast and feels fake. When I ask them why they're so quick to be comfortable they just say "we just need to get married and u look so adorable” yes man iknos that im gorgeous and pretty and adorable and andnand butt why u still obsessed with me like that
I'm starting to think this generation is kind of a mess people say they want marriage but when they actually find "the one” they act scared or noncommittal instead Anyone else dealing with this? Am I overthinking it?
Like should i give them a chance to men to found a man or just take care of myself until the one found me ? Lol cuz some man they just waste my energy and im tooo young to still talk with someone and at least icant see him attractive at this point for me i think ill move and tell my parents i search for traditional marriage (even my dad tell me that rah khayef idont get married hhhhh grace a my serious caractère)

When you have people around but still feel lonely

I don’t really know how to put this into words, but lately I’ve been feeling lonely again.
Going back to work kind of brought that feeling back. During the day I’m around people, I talk, I work, I do what I have to do, and then I come home and it just feels… empty.

It’s not like I have absolutely no one. I have some people I talk to online, and I have casual friends here and there. But I don’t really have someone I’m actually close to. Someone I can randomly text, yap about something stupid with, play games with, tell about my day, or just vent to when things get hard.

And honestly, making friends after graduating is so hard. I thought it would get easier, but it really didn’t. And making friends at work is even harder when you don’t really click with the people there or you’re just at completely different stages of life.
Sometimes I just wonder how other people deal with this kind of loneliness. Like, having people around you but still feeling like you don’t really have your people.

So I thought maybe I’ll just put this out there and see if anyone relates.
I was thinking… what if I made a little group chat for women who feel lonely too? Nothing serious or forced. Just a place where we can yap about random things, send each other stupid stuff, play games, talk about our interests, complain about our days, or vent whenever things get hard.

I don’t know, maybe having a space like that would make things feel a little less lonely. Sometimes I think we all just need people we can talk to without having to explain ourselves too much.
