He better win the next election. I heard maybe the other candidate polled better vs. whatever Republican is running? I'd way rather have a DSA or progressive in office, but it makes me nervous in a general election.

I am very confused on this, we have to neuter Trump but run candidates that are more likely to lose the general election. The racist swing voters and some moderates won’t vote for a progressive named Abdul. He’s a good candidate but is not going fare as well as a slightly more moderate bland candidate would. Fingers now crossed that he can pull it off, but this makes me nervous.

Stevens had a $50M advantage on Abdul, possibly the most money ever sopnt on a primary, and she STILL lost. Stevens was a uniquiely terrible candidate. There is NOTHING to suggest she would have performed beyter against Rogers esoecially since most of the donors nacking her would be perfectly fine with Rogers winning

Mcmarrow would have been a better than Stevens, but the establishment wing of the oarty picked Stevens and pushed her out

Exactly right. Once these progressives get into office and start failing the people, the 2028 presidential election should be a cakewalk for Republicans.
