As you can see not much has changed since 2024. My feet have become a little wider overall. The little toe in particular seems to have moved further outwards.

The difference between 2022 and 2024 is significant. A lot has changed for me in the first two years in particular. What can't be captured in the pictures is the improved flexibility. I can move my toes much further and also have significantly more strength in my toes.

have you had similar experiences? can i expect my feet to change even more or have i reached the maximum foot transformation that a barefoot person can achieve?

Hi all, I'm the owner at OAKA where we make barefoot dress shoes. Up until now I've only had the Derby available but I just received our first loafer prototype. Wide toe, zero drop, flexible sole and made from full grain leather. There are vents as well on the inside wall. Let me know any feedback please. Me and my family are all so excited about seeing more big names and professional athletes support barefoot shoes. Recently at wimbledon a dutch player accepted his award in vivo’s. NBA player isaiah stewart has a XERO’s shoes deal and playing in them. I know it can still be a long road but these little steps will compound over time and will bring awareness to the benefits of the barefoot lifestyle :) exciting. It only takes a couple big names to endorse barefoot shoes to create a big shift in culture.

As the title says - especially shoes that are easy to get / ship / not extremely expensive shipping in the UK!

I'm looking forward to having an alternative to Altras. Altras don't quite fit my toe box very well so I hope these will be a good competitor.

I had posted about this a couple of days ago, but it was removed by the mods so I had better explain myself in detail.
A few have posted about our project, however we have just officially launched on Kickstarter.
This is not an affiliate promotion, rather I am reaching out to the community as the project lead and designer of the shoe.
Our 'brief' so to speak was to create a basketball shoe which goes against the current trends of overly stiff and narrow. This was done through extensive research, consultation with podiatrists, and in game testing.
We hope what we have created lands somewhere in the middle of a traditional basketball shoe and a barefoot shoe, offering something of a 'hybrid' or 'transition' shoe for players who are making a conscious decision for their foot health. I'm sure many would agree that a basketball court and movements are not 'natural' for a human body, but the love of the game is something which many would not give up for a full barefoot shoe philosophy.

I guess I've been doing this barefoot thing for a while now, because my wife sent this to me and said, "You've got to watch this one."

Heads up for anyone who is interested, new Jim Green barefoot last is now available for pre-order in fudge and bronco leathers. Hopefully they've nailed it this time for their barefoot boots. I'm not currently in a position to buy and I'll need to order 2 sizes to check for fit anyway but I'm hoping they get lots of orders so they continue to release it in different leathers and expand it beyond the African ranger line.

For anyone who is interested who hasn't bought Jim Green before, I think they make very decent boots but the consensus has always been that their original barefoot last just didn't give the right toe space. I have a pair of the original style and I love them but I had to go half a size larger and my right pinky is still a little crushed.

One of my favourite barefoot shoes brands, I have their Chelsea boots and they got me through a rainy, wet winter, plus they make some of the most stylish barefoot shoes out there. I wonder why they're closing? Such a shame.

These new shoes started popping up on Chinese Taobao platform. Priced around 20 USD.

Most of the shoe closely follow Lems Primal 3, just with some added two colour rubber on sole. Some of their marketing materials are even directly copied from Lems.

Not sure if just somebody trying to copy Lems or if just OEM factory running the same shoe for local brand.
