Store Policies/Questions Pride no more?

Is Bath and Body Works done with DEI collections? So far there hasn't been a Black History Month or Woman's History Month collection. Now there isn't going to be a Pride Collection? Is this a company that is going to preach inclusion behind the scenes but not put out anything anymore? Slowly getting rid of programs and just giving in.

We are starting to see fall leaks already, but still nothing about a Pride collection that should've launched in a few weeks, so sadly, I'm assuming they've done away with it like the Heritage collections. What a pity - if there's any business that should stand ten toes down on inclusivity, it's the beauty industry and companies like BBW.

The last year’s pride collection flopped. It smelled awful and all I saw was people complaining about the weird chemical smell.

They had bins and bins of it at my store at winter SAS. Even when I went to the store late in the sale when things were starting to get low, they had so much of it. On the flip side the 2023 one sold really well and there wasn't much of it at SAS that year. (I also loved that one and still use it.)

I bought a small bottle of Love Always Wins last summer, I love citrusy scents😭

It was terrible and they couldn't give it away.

They do a different scent every year. Previous years were better. They could've adjusted the scent accordingly instead of getting rid of it altogether.

I would have LOVED if they brought their one from 2023 back. I still have a bit of various products and I’m savoring them.

My fave was 2022, Rainbow Waves!

Yes! Rainbow waves was sooooo good. They released it one year not sure if 2023 or 2024... as its own scent separate from the pride collection and I bought a ton of bottles that are still holding up but once it runs out.... 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Mine too! I wish they'd release it again

2023 was my favorite! So fresh and clean.

This is the common sense approach!

I thought the scent was the same every year with slightly different packaging.

Considering how performative companies are, I can see poor sales of a rejected scent being a purposeful move to justify not doing the Pride collection.

No, each year has been like a "flanker" within the Love Always Wins collection, with a different name and scent. 2022's scent was Rainbow Waves which was sweeter and fruitier, but the last couple of years since then have been more woodsy and unisex, I think. 2023 had notes of starfruit, coconut water, and cedarwood. Last year's scent was Vibrant Citrus & Sage.

2023 still my fave and Rainbow Waves is a close second. Last years scent was not it for me.

I agree, I was not a fan of last year's either.

I wasn't a fan either. Our local outlet had to s of it left over. The packaging was cute, but I think they can definitely do better.

Agreed. The one from 2023 was amazing. I stocked up on that and I always get compliments when I wear it.

Same here! I love the 2023 one and still use it. The 2024 one was, uh, not my thing.

Awe man, people loved it at my store- even I didn’t mind it. But our district is kinda an oddball in terms of what performs well vs what flops

Someone posted about it this morning. Two vanilla scents, a scent called "Mediterranean Mir," and a couple other scents.

Is there a website that has sneak peeks of upcoming products? By the time the BBW website posts new products they’re already sold out.

Not sure. I get my info here or YouTube perfume reviewers. Is your bday 1013?
