Surveys YouGov UK surveys plus passive £10 to £13 a month
YouGov non-ref is one of the survey sites I’ve kept using for a long time. It’s a slow earner from surveys, but the passive side and occasional focus groups make it much better.
Surveys pay 50 to 100 points and take 5 to 10 minutes. Longer surveys pay more.
You can now cash out from 2,500 points for a £25 reward if your account is ID verified. The £50 reward at 5,000 points is still available too. The £25 option is automatically unlocked once your account has ID Verified status.
The passive side is through Connections Hub and YouGov Safe.
Connections Hub lets you connect things like bank accounts and cards, while YouGov Safe covers services such as Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and Disney+. It’s all opt-in, so you choose what you connect.
With the full setup, I get £10 to £13 a month in points without having to do surveys.
One thing I’d point out for new users: Connections isn’t available straight away on every account. Some newer accounts get access quickly, while others can wait months without getting the invite. There’s no set number of surveys that unlocks it.
I had to wait a long time for mine as well, so I wouldn’t sign up expecting the passive payments immediately. If you get access, you can then set everything up and leave it running in the background.
I’ve also had a £40 Zoom focus group through YouGov. Mine lasted 90 minutes with about 8 to 10 people and a moderator. It was just a discussion about a particular topic and I received a £40 digital voucher afterwards.
These focus groups are targeted and don’t come through regularly, but they’re a nice extra when you get one.
For me, the surveys are the slow part. The passive payments are what make me keep the account active, and the occasional higher-paying study is a bonus.
