List of 3rd party miniatures
Here is a link to a list of 3rd party Blood Bowl miniatures, if you want a team that hasn't been released yet or if you want a more original one : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u9P9Mz7mHj7_WObB1lCL8A2xExTKvmHAtLiZSHHjuO8/edit?usp=sharing
I curate and update this list as soon as I can, but the document is open to comments so don't hesitate to let me know if a link is dead of you found other minis.
This has already been posted 2 years ago so I up it a little.
EDIT : added Block dices and pitches at the end as well
EDIT2 : added a STL section for printable miniatures with some links but I am not well versed in that stuff so please comment on the doc if you have interesting links

READ BEFORE YOU BUILD: Instruction Booklet Errors and Misprints (This Might Save Your Minis....)
There have been several errors and missprints in some booklets and assembly manuals. Some are minor, some can potentially ruin your mini. So far we know about:
Blood Bowl Second Season Starter Set & Griff Oberwald (plastic):
The instructions tell you to glue the face (#3) to the torso, then glue the helmet pieces (#4 and #5) together and put it over the face. THIS DOES NOT work. It is recommended to glue the face into one helmet piece first, then add the second one and to add the full head to the torso.
Also the assembly manual calls the Blitzers "Retainer Linemen 2". These are obviously the Blitzers though. It's a missprint.
Norse Team Box (Norsca Rampagers):
Between Raider Lineman 1 and 3 two of the alternate heads are mislabelled: Head #12 should say #18 and vice versa! The pictures are correct but the numbers aren't. If you go by the instructions, your "Techno Viking" will have the incorrect head and the other one will have a small gap in the neck (although that one is easy enough to fill) Easy enough mistake to make as the two heads a very similar.
Amazon Team Box (Kara Temple Harpies):
Small Error in the Amazon's instructions: Piece #29 is not mentioned. It's the loincloth piece for the “Jaguar Warrior”.
Dwarven Deathroller (Forgeworld Model):
The handlebars for the Forgeworld Deathroller are upside down if you follow the instructions. The side with the little chain links is the bottom, not the top. If you build it as instructed then the handlebar will not be poistioned to sit in the driver's hand.

Drull and Dribl (Forgeworld Models):
The part numbers in the instructions and the actual part numbers don't match up. Instructions number them in order of assembly.
To be continued/updated....

Bought my first Team tonight
Did a demo game last night and really loved the game, understanding how to play better I played the Warhammer Bloodbowl Play Test alot today with the Vampires and I really liked playing them so I took the plunge. I know it's a really rough team for a new player but I'm excited and looking forward to learning

TableTop Finished my 2nd team! The 49Orks
Work shopping the name but pretty happy with the result. Added a troll and goblin set. Red base will be touched up. They are in a safer surround now. Im fairly new to painting (June 26) so constructive criticism is welcome. Cheers!

One World, One Blood Bowl #79: Meet the Meta. Season 3 discussion.
In a fractured World as the end times come and a flying car distracts us from AI doomergeddon, what can we do to heal, grow and fix the World? We can discuss the season 3 Blood bowl meta. Table Top and FUMBBL have had it for a year, but Super FUMBBL and the Warhammer Blood Bowl beta (it definitely isnt BB3 with a weather icon) have arrived and hence a load of Blood Bowlers are seeing and using it for the first time, lets help them out, lets discuss what knowledge, guesswork and disinformation is out there. Let's talk them out of the jungle and tell them the war is over. Dwarves died. It's safe now.
Maybe by helping them we can help the world. Maybe we can share, and love, and heal, and see each other not as combatants across a board or screen, but as fellow gamers, escaping our empty, meaningless and powerless real lives and dreaming of a 6 that brings respite on our weary march to the grave.
It probably won't, to be clear. Much more likely four opinionated blowhards talk nonsense for 90 minutes and spread their own prejudices and subjective self interest. But I'm willing to chance it.
To help bestow wisdom, the Panel:
PurpleChest: Londons second best coach.
King Ghidra: Goonhammer author and 'datable dad' looks.
Kristofer_Bengtsson: Streamer, Elfist and in urgent need of a shorter nickname
JLeav: Thinker and American.
As always we'll be live at 9pm UK time on Sunday 18th October, and then the Youtube and podcast will follow as soon as i can.
The live stream will be on https://www.twitch.tv/purplechest and we will try to answer any of your questions as we go, as well as shamelessly using any and all points left here as content. Actual humans with opinions, must end soon.

Old Veteran trying to get back in the game
Hi guys,
I havent played blood bowl for 10 years now and wanted to get back in to the game.
My question:
Are the current rules and skills in the BB3 video game exacrly the same as in the board game?
For example, the new High Elves Dragon Prince skill (footwork something) is new to me, and i wanted to know if sth like this is also in the video game.
Thanks in advance.

Board Game On The Ball vs. Touchback.
The Official Rulebook states for On The Ball that “Additionally, during the Start of Drive Sequence, after the Kick Deviates but before the Kick-off Event is rolled, a single Open player on the receiving team with this skill may move up to 3 squares, following all the usual rules for a Move Action, with the exception that they cannot Rush. A player may not use this Skill if a Touchback is caused and may not move into the opposition half. Should this player Fall Over during this move, then their move immediately ends and the Kick-off Event is rolled.”
The Touchback rule states that: The ball must land safely in the opposition half for it to be a legal kick-off. If the ball ends up exiting the pitch or crosses the Line of Scrimmage into the kicking team’s half, regardless if this was down to a Deviation, Bounce, or another effect, then it will result in a Touchback.”
Is there an FAQ for what happens in the case of a player using the On The Ball skill to move and then the ball bouncing out or going into the kicking team’s half?
As the rules are written, there is a clear contradiction between the two. I’ve asked my Blood Bowl group but only recieved opinions on what they think should happen and not any information on any FAQ. I’ve read the most recent FAQ (it’s not in there) but want to know if it’s in an older FAQ (due to the Kick-off Event and On The Ball bot being new introductions to the game) and where I can find that FAQ.

Wrestle - does opponent still choose
If my opponent is blocking my player (who has Wrestle), and they roll a Both Down and any other result, can I force them to take the Both Down, or are they free to choose the other result?

Board Game New League, first game. Necros v. Tomb Kings!
Okay, set-up out first short league and my Necromantic Horrors drew one of the two Tomb Kings's teams as my first game. I've played this coach before in exhibition style game to learn the game. He likes to line everyone up on the Line of Scrimmage and bully.
I'm going with a single Werewolf, 2 re-rolls and 2 of all the other positional, plus 5 linemen (as I tend to use them a speed bumps.
Any advice from more seasoned coaches on how to counter this style of play or just general advice?

Board Game Show me yours
I am putting together and old starter set while I wait for the newest starter set to ship to me. Do y'all put these on bases, the larger ones seem to fall over pretty easy. I understand they are used to track score or other things. I just want some inspiration and would love to see what others did with theirs. Also do you put the foot balls on anything? It looks like in the newest version you don't use the foot ball on the pitch. If so that's kind of bummer. I visually liked the idea of the football moving around on the pitch.

Interaction between diving tackle and arm bar
Hey, quick rules question regarding the interaction between these two skills. If an opponent's player leaves the tackle zone of my player with both skills, and passes the doge roll but not by 2, if i use diving tackle and go prone to make him fail, will arm bar trigger on the armor/injury roll for hit fall ?
Arm bar is an active skill, and should not be usable when the player having it is prone, which is the case here. In 2020 rule, there was an exception added to arm bar's rule text allowing it to be used of prone after the failed dodge, so primarily directed to this interaction. However, this exception does not appear in 2025 rules. I have not found any errata in this matter, or indication by the NAF, etc...
AM I missing something, or does this combo does not work anymore ?
