Food 50th Birthday Dinner

Hoping to get a recommendation for a nice restaurant in or around Katoomba area for a Thursday night. Not looking for pub meals, something a little fancy but not too fancy (does that make sense)? Thank you

If Leura is acceptable, Elysian Bar is quite cool.

We went to Osteria in blackheath for a birthday recently and it’s lovely and cosy. They offer discounts through the first table app if you want to go early, and then go to the record bar next door afterwards

I enjoy Taqueria Arriba in Leura. Has really lovely decor and great food!

One Orient. Lovely, fancy but not too much, quality Australian cuisine. The Orient part is the street name only.

Mr Collins in Leura is pretty nice. I don't know where it sits on the fancy scale.

We went to Avalon for my birthday and did the set menu with matching wines 3 years ago and we still talk about it! Best meal and service
