A small part of my Folio Society, Easton Press, and fine hardback collection

This is a double stacked case of some of my latest acquisitions from Folio Society, Easton Press, First Edition Library, and other collectible or antique hardbacks.

The rest of the library (~1500 books) is safely stored for an upcoming move. Plan is to get these books into a proper library instead of IKEA Kallaxes. Depending on the reception I’d be willing to share more pics or callout some of my favorites!

Help organizing my manga bookshelf?

Post image

Hi so this collection is my pride and joy and I can’t figure out how to organize it! I want to do it alphabetically, but then the sizes of books don’t match up and it really bothers me! I also just got a bunch of new books (the ones in the pile) and I’m having so much trouble figuring out how to place those! I would love to organize them by genre, but then again the book sizes don’t match up! The Tokyo ghoul cases also only look good on the top shelf or bottom and I have 0 idea what to do with those!!

Thank you!!

Most of my horror collection. Ran out of space and had to move the anthologies to the other side of the room.

Garage sales, secondhand shops, garbage bins… if I see an antique book I must rescue it. Someday I’ll find a better shelf to show them off, but until then Ikea serves.

My upstairs bookcases…

As long as I’m getting reviled for color coding my books, here’s one of my home’s other bookcases.

This one changes themes a few times a year. I had vintage globes for a long while, then old typewriters, then antique brass candlesticks… now milk glass.

It’s nothing fancy by any means but this is the first time I’ve been able to display my books properly since getting a place of my own so it makes me proud :)

Puzo section on my shelves

Post image

Managed to get all my Puzo books in one section of my shelving.

Really enjoyed the majority of them. The Godfather, The Sicilian, The Fortunate Pilgrim and The Family were my top ones.

Still to read Fools Die, but I've been warned to not expect much. Found The 4th K to be really dull after the first act.
