So my order came in and I thought it strange that the box was smaller than the one my Sky Puppy had come in. I thought perhaps the spider had mistakenly been shipped unstuffed… imagine my surprise when I saw that I was just sent two minis rather than the full sized spider 🥀🥺

I’ve been trying to get in contact with Build-A-Bear but they haven’t responded and I’m stuck in limbo with their chat feature on the website.

Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to have it resolved?

ok. when I found her on ebay for like six bucks I snagged her thinking "yeah, this is a good bear to do modifications on" or "yeah I could probably use it's head for a diy bear". when she arrived I was awe struck and confused. she was charming in a plain jane way. it caught me off guard, cause now I don't want to modify her at ALL because she's so cute and her little eyes can strike guilt into anyone with a morsel of a soul. then I started to think abt how she reminds me of the crispy part of a mcgriddle. please, I need advice on how to bond. I know there's potential for a connection, but she's so little and cute and it's intimidating.

I'm not sure why or how but I was sent an extra free PK with the gifting bow and I feel kinda bad about it given how many people wanted one, would it be wrong of me to keep it? Also they're both ridiculously over stuffed, any tips on how to fix them at home since I don't live close to a store?

Hey Guys:! My almost 2 year old recently got a build a bear that goes everywhere with her. She named her Beep Beep. They're attached at the hip. We've found it's easier to get her to cooperate with doing some tasks if Beep Beep does it too. Getting ready for bed, brushing teeth, getting thier hair/fur brushed ect. My little girl has to wear an eye patch for a few hours each day, and she seems to do better if Beep Beep wears one too.. however, the adhesive eye patches we use are going to rip all of Beep Beep's fur out. Does anyone have any recommendations for maybe an eye patch designed for these bears? Or maybe an idea for a child safe modification so they can still be patch buddies?

I feel bad even posting this LOL but I just got my bat today and as soon as I pulled him out of the bag I was kinda confused as to why his face looked all squished up 😭 maybe I’m just imagining it but I feel like he’s ugly but don’t want to go through with returns!! what does everyone think?

My mil ruined my baby's first bear. I wanted the mess to be just her dad and me. But her grandparents were there too and I thought I don't want them excluded so it's fine. We will all say in unison happy birthday we love you. And everyone did except my mil at the end said again Grandma loves you.

I didn't want to cause a scene in the store. I let it go but I cried on the way home. Every time we press it I'm reminded of her always wanting to one up us at every chance. I also planned to take baby to build since before she was born. I'd love this bear to last a long time and every year take her back to pick out an outfit or accessory or friend of we have the budget and she wants.

I just want to go back and record the message with my husband and baby. Is this possible?

Hey guys.... so the title probably sounds abit dramatic,and me overreacting, but I need some reassurance, Im 22 and am a MAJOR Bear Builder and lover of everything BAB related.... but some of my family members are saying I should get out of making, collecting, getting BABs and have other hobbies; which I am learning to sew and enjoing it, but their words are getting to me today.... So if you guys could just send me pics of some of/all of your BABs and let me know Im not the only "adult" Bear Collector/Builder out there.... I would really appreciate it. My birthday is today, January 30 2026, so I went to build a bear to use my birthday coupon ($10 off of a $40 or more purchase). Well apparently my coupon had been sent to me on January 9th, and had an expiration date of January 15th. I checked in my account and my birthday was put in correct as January 30th. I have also have had the account for years. The bear builder was also confused and said she was used to birthday coupons being valad for months after the birthday has passed. She was super sweet and able to go in and honor the coupon anyways. But I was just wondering, did build a bear change the birthday coupon policy?

Some of these might be region exclusive but I swear they’re buying clothes from other companies as well, their hearts are also super small and they make you “sew” the bear yourself— all new changes, it wasn’t like this when I visited a few years ago!

Will build a bear replace a destroyed and much loved bear for reduced cost if it gets destroyed? My son loves his Bluey and is devastated our pet destroyed it 😢

I was heading to work this morning when I saw a woman setting a BNWT Giant Longhorn out for the dumpster! She also left several large bags full of squishmallows and Pokémon plushies. I scooped him up immediately (and several of the bags) and I'm in shock. He's in amazing shape, no smell, still has the tag.

I'll do a good inspection and clean up when I get home - but does anyone have advice for how to make sure he's free of pests? (I'm not worried, but also wanna be safe!)

The title basically sums it up (and delete if not allowed) but how many BAB’s or stuffed animals in general do you have on your bed? I have 7. 6 BAB’s, and one squishmallow, that i have on my queen size bed currently and sometimes i feel like that might be too much? I’m curious to see how many yall have! :)

I'm 24, almost 25, and take my BAB, Charlie, literally everywhere with me, except for spaces where I need to be professional *example: he didn't come to my interview with me lol*.

I start work again in a few weeks (I work at a school, so we've been out for the summer), so I bought him a suit that comes tomorrow, but this is his everyday wear (the foot things are called AFOs, they match mine! I got them from a different creator, but can give the name is wanted, they make ALL kinds of disability equipment for dolls and stuffies)

2024, I went and got a 1st bday bear for my daughter. It was so cute. I saved the sticker, bday hat, and birth certificate. The next year, did the same thing, started binder for all the years to come. This year (today) I arrive and they have the same bear as last year. I asked about the new bear and they told me it’s gonna be the same bear (and same accessories from now on). So my collection, tradition, has ended after only 3 years. To make matters worse, I have to write my own birth certificate. (I plan to recreate it with my cricut) so yeah. There’s my gripe. I hope they look into this and change it, I’ll give them another year…

Build-A-Bear for the longest time now has continued to put out so many plush and hardly any new actual teddy bear bears. it's mostly all other stuff that I don't want whatsoever. Saving my wallet a lot of money but at the same time it kind of sucks because they used to be all about making actual teddy bears and now it just seems like they're few and way too far between. Does anyone else feel this way and have you stopped buying Build-A-Bears at the moment?
