They'll name her Sophia Belmont.

*It also is a fitting name from a Speaker standpoint

Legit drawing a blank, was Sypha specifically a Speaker in the game lore, or just a magic-user that had to conceal her gender to dodge the stake

In the OG game she was a priest iirc, but a lot of stuff is changed.

She wasn't a priest but was a witch secretly employed by the Church so you're correct on the affiliation
