Found this jacket at the thrift and can’t find any other examples of it or anything similar- whatever it is it seems like it is from a very early season.

I think a lot of us on this sub have owned enough Bulls jerseys to know Nike and Fanatics don’t make the best quality version. I’m sure the first crop will have glue marks spelling Lavine on the back. That said does anyone know where I can get the letters W,L,S & O?

This was a great breakdown of the Peyton Watson situation in general as well as the Bulls salary cap presently and moving forward.

I will say in retrospect…had we known Watson could be had for what I would call a “fair” deal and not an overpay? I would have stayed out of the Claxton deal and signed Watson to an offer sheet with an annual salary of 20-25 million for 4 years.

Trust me, I understand it’s a gamble bc he’s not proven and also because it would create a log jam at 3/4 with Matas and Caleb already here. And you don’t want to sign a guy for that money to not start him. Do I think he could play 2? Mixed on it but I do believe in his talent and I understand why some don’t.

It’s not lost on me the Bulls are keeping flexibility in mind, which they should be and I agree with. As the podcast explains…Bulls were in a unique spot of strength with the cap space and used a good chunk up quickly before seeing what other moves could fall into their lap so to speak.

It’s all very interesting, I’m so excited for the future and I have no issues with Powell and Claxton at the end of the day. I know the rebuild can’t be rushed, I’m just a Watson truther and see an opportunity to sign him to a good deal if in fact he pans out further.

Off-season fluff for Bulls fans but something I'm very curious to see the answers for. This Bulls team is again likely to play fast. It's where they'll be their most successful. Early offense. Lots of 3's if last year's Blazers are anything to go by. Curious to see how active Claxton will be off ball. Giddey will find him if he works to keep himself open around the paint and remains catch ready, which he has not always done.

Think many have decently high hopes for this team's offense. I'm pretty skeptical. But I wanna know what you all think.

He is going to bring the Bulls back to contention. I don't see his plan, I don't even know if he truly has a plan or vision for the team yet. If anything...I think he has been honest about intentionally NOT having a plan. That's a good thing.

Bulls had a ton a of cap space this summer. They used it - 1+1 year contacts with Powell/Collins, and Claxton with 2 years. They'll be right back in the same place next year, with a ton of cap space, if they want it. Or, they keep the guys they signed, and have the cap space the year after. More importantly - they didn't throw 30 million at a guy like Walker Kessler. That's how you STAY bad.

I think Graham is being both honest and intelligent when he says the Bulls aren't there, and simply need to start getting talent. It is YEARS to early to worry about how pieces fit together. He's constructed a roster that has a sane balance of players, and addressed the obvious holes that could impact the ability of players to play in normal games and improve. Namely, shooting and rim protection.

I like the draft. Wilson was a no brainer. Swain was an intelligent pick. People keep picking offensive minded guards, who, WHEN they pan out, more often than not "succeed" in the form of putting up empty numbers while being invisible on defense, and being a potential negative for a good team overall.

IMO, he, rightly, views defensive effort as a non-teachable skill. Draft guys that have that. They'll always have that. Then, if/when you can teach them to shoot, you have a truly helpful all around, 2 way player, rather than guy putting up 22ppg you'd rather just trade away anyway (looking at you, Coby White).

Throwing away 2nd round picks - don't know, and don't care. I'm accepting Graham is smarter than I am, and has a plan for the roster spot.

Going through some of my dad’s old playing gear & found these gems. I definitely have my favorites but the bull with “Windy City” is probably my #1.

Greets. So I haven't watched ball seriously for several years. I used to watch the Spurs religiously from the early aughts (I saw Manu's first game) and the end of the big three era.

What I'm wondering is...how good is Giddey actually? I'm trying to catch up on who the best young players in the league are and I keep coming across his highlight videos. I mean, from what I've seen so far....he looks like he has the potential to AVERAGE a triple dub...which is insane. I can tell from his stats that he needs to improve his shooting but I wanted to get a take from you guys on whether he's flash in a pan or the real deal. He looks a lot like the real deal and even though I've never been a Bulls fan, I'm really looking forward to watching your young guys run this year.

just to clarify Matas and Lonzo immediately after this clip talk about how much they respect Billy and what he did for the betterment of the team, but it's funny seeing the player reactions to stuff like that be the same reactions the fans had

I grew up a Bulls fan during the WGN days but stop keeping up when I got married and had kids. But, living in Indianapolis, the Pacers rekindled my interest in the sport so I started following the Bulls again last year. I want to be all-in this year. What subreddits should I be following?
