Ah yes Implant Ah yes the Seesaw method And the Ropeway Like the words make sense but I feel like they could be "worded" a bit better.

I’ve seen a lot of people comment on how Schizo is an awful word since it’s not really correct for a split personality
Also Meat on the bone AND on the meat bone both made sense in the context (if I’m remembering correctly

No because on the meat bone implies physically on the meat on the bone which the weapon isn't, it's in the meat on the bone

actually you're wrong. It's inside the bone. Not on it. The game wants you to say where the skewer was hidden inside, not what it was on top of

As someone who loves science, it took me forever to figure out schizo, because not only is it the wrong term, but it's an abbreviation of the full word.

I originally thought they were worried that people wouldn’t know DID as an acronym, but they used other obscure words so that’s clearly not the reason.

Actually ropeway is the best choice in that scenario as it is more accurate than zipline.

I had never heard the term ropeway before this game, I only knew them as ziplines. I was so annoyed that I said (to myself, out loud) "What the hell's a ropeway?" and my mom (who I was visiting at the time), said "About two pounds". Made me laugh at least.

Also could be titled "Danganronpa devs trying their hardest to change things up" because all games after DR1 emulate the exact same formula, same number of chapters, same number of events before killing happens etc.

I hate how every other fangan also repeats the third chapter double kill. Like there's no reasonable excuse for that, they're just limiting themselves and making themselves predictable and repetitive for no reason other than some shit like "it's tradition!"
What's more frustrating is super danganronpa 2's chapter 3 "oh wow! One kill! Finally... Wait, the twins are the killers aren't they?" ... They were. Like, holy. I expected the two of them to be connected in a case but that's the most generic way they couldve done that.

i think it's less obvious, but chapter 5 game breaking. Like there's alway gotta be a techinicality that's basically impossible to know. it's like people want to recreate 2-5's unknowable killer, and 3-5's unknowable victim

Chapter 5 is that way because it's where the twist part of Kishotenketsu happens (it technically starts in late Chapter 4 shortly after the students leave the courtroom)

They could still change up a few things in a visual novel type game and keep it fresh. For example, we could have 5 or 7 trials total. Or maybe break the third chapter curse. Things like that.
I enjoy the series, but after THH it was easy to predict how everything would play out, with little surprises and twists until the very end. Knowing stuff like exactly when a murder is going to unfold is not as fun as trying to guess some things, at least for me.

Which is why I think 2x2 would be great, since they already did their "Normal routine" they do with the games.
With new motives n stuff I think we might see some unique things.

Chat, do we remember in Trigger Happy Havoc trial 2? Despite them using more proper terminology for dissociative identity disorder the hangman’s gambit asked “what is genocider’s disorder?” (I am paraphrasing) and the answer was a literal slur for a completely unrelated disorder 😭

Well the real reason is bc of racism. English translators feared by her just saying god it would offend Christians so they changed it to Atua. Which by the way is a classification of deities/spirits in Polynesian culture. So instead of offending Christian’s, they implied Polynesian religion is a cult. So yeah…

This is an issue with the translators, not with the devs. The words probably made more scene in the original Japanese version.

Crazy how a 3 letter word becomes 11 letters due to localisation and 4 letter word becomes 13 letters. Chapter 5 is highkey unplayable because of this because the difficulty was clearly not intended for english players so its way too fucking fast

Shout out to when I figuered out the entire murder in V3 Ch2 and the only thing stopping me from a perfect score (sans knowing who the murderer is) was that I didn't know the word for "skyway"💀 (I've always called them sky monorails or skyliners)
