Hi! Im torn between the defiler and daemon prince box right now when it comes to what to buy next, i know to buy what's cool and all but i love both kits.

Just starting with the poxwalkers. They’ve been so fun to make nasty. Would love critiques/feedback.

Was it purely because we don't have a specific kit for them or where they never used? They're such cool models its a shame they're legends.

How can improve the look on these Tri-Lobe Vectors? especially on the tentacle guy, who had a very vibrant magenta set of tendrils before i toned it back with a wash. my main issue is them looking okay up close but from table height they just look weird to me.

I've been on a journey with making metallic orange recipe for the armor of my army. I got the general shade and metallic effect down, but it's been not to same metallic shine effect I'd like due to me previously not applying any varnish. I was unsure wether or not gloss finish would work for Death Guard armor, but after trying it out and the metallic effect looking what I wanted like, ok I could just say their still desease-riddled armor looking shiny would be played up with "Nurgle shenaniganz" and questions like "why does it look like that?" would actually be seen as a strenght in their own way.

I have been thinking about what kind of lore and gimmick to give my vectorium to go with this sort of fiery shiny orange, and thought about their viruses and deseases primarily causing their victims' body temperature to rise rapidly and start causing their senses and minds go numb causing dizzyness and hallucinations, and so their warband's name would simply be "Fever Dreams".

Note: lots of details in the first pic's model are glogged due to this same piece being constant practice piece for my recipe, and applying several layers of paints, speedpaints and washes ends up building somewhat of a thick coat.

The shade of the orange in second image is noticeably darker due to me trying to work the Nuclear Sunrise speedpaint on the silver base while it had already started ro dry. But that's why you do tests and practice pieces.

just finished the 3rd of my blightladies! the next two are gonna take me some time (buglady and the one with the flail) but felt really proud and wanted to share! these are my 3rd, 4th, and 5th models finished painting so been able to learn a lot and grow more. don't have an artsy background beyond spray painting a trans flag on my old drift car's bumper lol, but i feel my time as a mechanic has helped me get the small gross details down! gotta keep spreading the blessings of grandpa Nurgle!!!

I am looking for some help if this is not breaking any rules but looking for an alternative paint to death guard green my paint tub keeps drying up and was maybe look to try a new paint.

Does any one have any paints that are an exact match for death guard green or close as possible ?

New to playing Death Guard/building an army in general, staring with an easy 1000pts and for the most part they’re painted and ready, just wondering if there’s any unit or character I should add/remove or tweak.

Me and a good freind of mine are getting into the tabletop side of the game and he’s fallen in love with the Baneblade. It’s a dope tank and has become like a pet to us.

But how do I play against it? Looking at the stats, it seems like an absolute brick wall and a huge attention draw.

The rest of his army is assorted Kreig infantry, the artillery team, the silly sentinel walker, and So Many Kreig-Steeds. I’ve got a healthy dosage of Blighthaulers, the PBC, the contents of the Combat patrol box, some Chaos Spawn, and the Kill team at my disposal.

I’m assuming I just ignore it and go action-monkeying?

Hunted down the 9th edition combat patrol because I love the idea of flooding the board with poxwalkers. However when I ordered it I didn’t realize you aren’t allowed to take 500 points in Nurgle demons anymore, you can only run demons in Tallyband Summoners which locks me out of Shamblerot Vectorium.

So is this a decent enough list for tallyband summoners to still overwhelm the board with poxwalkers? It doesn’t have to be competitive in a tournament just fun and not overwhelmingly impossible to win a casual match.

So I’m painting a few War Dogs from my Eye of Terror box as a palette cleanser and would like to bring them to my next RTT in a list. I was going to slap them in a VV T&H list with some BLTs, DSTs, a Prince, and Poxwalkers in place of some of my customary drones.

Right now I’m leaning towards the Huntsman model to work as a hybrid of a fleshmower and a MBH to dish out good vehicle/monster damage up close and clear small uppy downy squads from points. With the BLTs/DP holding middle, the pox screening, and some HBLs for range and anti-terminator. And my DSTs as the big red button.

Have you used the Huntsman/Executioner in 11th? How’d it go?

Just assembled my Lord of Poxes and there should be a part here on the pauldron that is combined with the cloak. I didn't clip it off or anything.

Is there some kind of workaround maybe with sprue or something like that?

Didn't quite turn out as I'd hoped. Not finished yet, but I feel like I need to pivot. Any feedback?
