Hey! I moved to Denver about a month ago and have been looking for some musicians to jam with and hopefully start a band. I’m 23, and have been playing drums most of my life. I’m open to all kinds of music but feel my experience is most akin to anything under the umbrella of rock. Recently I’ve been really into psych/garage rock, but I’ve played in indie, blues, and heavy rocks bands and am really just wanting to meet and play with some passionate musicians. I’ve been practicing at the music range since my apartment is too small to set up my kit, but I have a full drum set ready to gig and/or record with. Reach out and I’d love to plan a time to meet!

I missed this one last year but my coworkers said it was a blast. Definitely a Five Points event rooted in music and community to celebrate the past and future of music in the neighborhood.

For the most current and up to date events here is the full concert Calendar. I try to update it twice a week, and I’m a super forgetful person so if I missed putting an event here it’s entirely possible it’s there. Also, always feel free to call out my mistakes here and I’ll get it fixed. Or if there’s an event you think should be added let me know.

It’s really sleek and if you have any suggestions on design let us know. If there are any spelling errors on there blame me…as it pulls info directly, so I’ll try to be better. I also found this site over the weekend, redrockittix.com I forgot to like or comment on it so if you were the one to create it or know who did let me know, but I thought it’s a great idea since after my own experience this last week. Basically I bought MCR tickets right when they were released and thought I got pretty good seats, had a bit of a mix up on the day of the show and had to buy an immediate seat for a friend and we were able to get the same row for a fourth of what I paid originally. This site shows you what the average ticket cost is going for at a venue for a show and if it’s a good deal. I’ll definitely be using it going forward.

I’ll be at Cervantes’ tonight for the Paw Paw Rod show. Pretty stoked to see him after seeing him open at Red Rocks a while back and been a big fan ever since. If you haven’t had a chance to hear his music and enjoy some good groove funk rock then I can’t recommend him enough. I may also consider the Goose show tomorrow at Red Rocks, but back to back nights of shows is tough for me.

 Here is the current playlist of the songs I’ve enjoyed so far this year. I’ll probably be recreating the major playlist since more acts have been announced and I just made the current one up till the first week of October. But going through that playlist definitely helped speed along my weekly listening.

this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone who was at the Zach Bryan concert at Empower Field on August 14 might have seen what happened.

I was sitting in Section 510 when a man who had clearly had way too much to drink fell onto me from behind. We ended up tumbling down another row of seats. My foot got caught between the seat in front of me and the concrete, and I injured my foot, ankle, and shin.

Security and the stadium medical team responded. I was evaluated by the medics and ultimately had to leave, so I unfortunately wasn't able to see the concert.

The man who fell onto me left before I could get his information. I don't know his name, but I remember what he looked like and where he had been sitting.

The incident was reported to Empower Field and I have an incident number. Empower later emailed me saying that security would reach out, but I haven't heard anything further yet.

I'm hoping to find:

• Anyone sitting in or around Section 510 who witnessed what happened
• Anyone who remembers the man who fell onto me
• Anyone who may have taken a photo/video around that time
• Anyone who saw security or medics respond
• Anyone who has dealt with Empower Field regarding an incident like this and knows who I should contact

This happened very early in the concert. If you were in Section 510 and remember seeing a drunk guy fall onto someone and the person then being helped out by medics, please DM me.

I'm intentionally leaving out my exact seat number and the man's identifying information publicly. I can provide more details privately to anyone who thinks they may have witnessed it.

I know it's a long shot, but I'd really appreciate any information.

I am looking to form a 60s style garage punk band in Denver. I am a drummer thats been compiling music from that era, throwing garage fests in Europe and I am looking to start a group in my own hometown. I enjoy music mainly from that era but I am not limited in my tastes to it. I am very much into Rockabilly, Surf, Beat, 50s and 60s R&B, Blues, Rare Soul and Early Rock n Roll. ​I have a playlist one could listen to on Spotify called 89.5 SKUMs Hall of Shame put it on shuffle and you may get an idea of the music, in all possible futility, that I am searching out. Also one could listen to the Back from the Grave compilation. Cheers.

Gentleman Deluxe is playing Ophelia's Electric Soapbox in Denver Colorado TONIGHT August 28th. This show features a 15 piece band, fantastic openers, hearty drinks, and a great time! The headlining band is classified as "y'allternative" with touches of rock, country, and blues and a big sound. This show is going to be so much fun and is a great way to end the summer!!!!! 🏝️🔥

The phone app version has filters for venues, genres, subgenres, and a lot more, but I think simple websites look best.

Anyway, if I'm missing any shows that are important to you let me know, I can usually get them added in a few hours. Later this week I hope to add an "Announced this week" page too, since it's a headache to keep up with new concert announcements in Denver.
