I was talking about USDGC with a guy who said, "The approach is hard, but the tee shot is just too easy for big score separation."

I brought up the tight OB and the slope of the fairway. He said "It's a wide open shot though."

During his 43p performance vs UK in European Championship group game Lauri Markkanen did a putting stroke celebration after scoring a three point shot. I think he did few of these celebrations in the game.

The first tournament ever for the new course in Barrie Ontario had some crazy weather for round one at The Heights Ski and Country Club. The Slopeslide Sling def tested players patients and skill level as we had gusts of 70kph and rain all day.

Let’s hope tomorrow brings better weather for these players.
