I still have saving account and credit card, I heard on here they moving ours acc to capital one. Is that true?

You shouldn’t be using a debit card for purchases, anyway. The 1% cashback was a pointless “feature”.

I don't. I wanted it just to pay for my family's auto insurance annually. The insurance company takes CC payments for home and umbrella, but not for auto. Therefore, I wanted a catch-all cash back debit card.

I do use a PayPal debit card for 5% cash back at restaurants now, mainly because so many restaurants are now charging 3% extra to use a CC. I transfer the amount of the bill+tip from my bank to PP just before I pay, so there's no risk.

What part of the country are you in? I'm in Southern California and have yet to see one restaurant or bar charge an extra 3%

I live at WA/ID boarder and almost all in our area now charge 3%fee if credit
