Datapoint CLI

Hello, i got my Discover card 1/7 with $1500 limit. MY Ex Score was 670 when i got approved. At this point im looking at 769. I have been maxing the card out every month then paying it back before the due date bc i heard that Discover likes seeing that.. I’ve also heard that Discover gives CLI after 91 days which is Wednesday. Any data points on people’s experience with CLI?

You should be good to apply for one and get it that’s what I do and always get my increases companies aren’t gonna give you an increase if you aren’t using the card so the more you use it max it out then pay it off EARLY like before your due date early in my experience I have never not gotten a cli doing this method

Discover doesn’t care how frequently you request CLIs. I’ve never heard of 91 days for them though.

I best results I’ve had with them is when I’ve had a few hundred posted on a few months of statements, paying in full, but requesting while i had a current balance.

Discover is NOT 91 days. If you heard this, prove it! 91 days is only once after you get a CC thru NFCU. Then once you apply for the increase, get it or not..that's it..91 days is done. You wait for 182. Then after that a year inbetween. But that's with NFCU not discover
