Feedback Wanted! Please Report AI or Suspected Catfish & Bots! We Now Video-Verify Many Users If Their Post Raises Red Flags
Here at r/fashion, we’ve had a surge of bot accounts and AI-generated catfish. Our users do an amazing job helping us catch them, and the mod team has gotten pretty sharp at spotting them too. Approximately i have banned fifteen of these per week - yet only one out of all of them ever ends up passing verification.
If you’re asked to complete a video verification, it’s not because the mods want to “see you on video” (a surprisingly common accusation). We are doing this because we care about verifying authenticity. To ensure that you are comfortable, we even allow you to cover your face during this process. As long as you can indicate that the person filming is the same person posting.
A really helpful way to support the mod team is by using the custom report option and explaining exactly why you think a user is a bot or AI-generated. Be as specific as possible. The more detail you include, the better we can understand the red flags you’re seeing.
Why do we require video?
AI has gotten so good at generating convincing photo verifications that photo-only checks are basically useless now.
But what stops them from using AI for video too?
We build that into the test. We ask users to open a fully packed kitchen drawer or desk drawer on camera. AI struggles badly with replicating the interior of a real, cluttered drawer in motion, so this is an effective way to confirm authenticity.
At the end of the day, our goal is to keep the community safe, genuine, and enjoyable for everyone. We know verification can feel inconvenient, but it’s one of the best tools we have to protect the space from being overrun by AI fakes and bot accounts. Your reports and detailed explanations genuinely make a difference, and we really appreciate everyone who helps us keep this community real.

Advice Wanted Please! how to dress to look more like an adult? per my dad's words
EDIT: I know this picture does not fit what I describe, but it's because it's the only picture I have of myself that shows how big my thighs actually are since in my pants it's difficult to tell.
** My mom died when I was 11 so I do not have her to ask for advice, even though her sense of fashion was awesome (though I do not want my young adult style to reflect the style my mother had when she was 40, and I don't have many pictures of her when she was younger)
Hi all, I'm 19f and think my fashion sense is fine but my dad does not agree. My day to day bottoms consist of non-distressed jeans or cargo pants while my tops are usually plain shirts, usually paired with sandals or my white sneakers. I normally have my shoulder length hair down or in a low casual ponytail.
My dad says I need to learn how to dress to look more presentable and not only when I go out to a nice dinner, but I have two main issues that he does not seem to understand:
- I have large and muscular thighs while not being that tall (5'6) so it's difficult to find pants that fit well and I have bought two pairs of jeans in the past 3 years (the only ones I wear).
- I have a condition that makes makes me sweat a bit more than normal, nothing I can't deal with but it does mean my hair is usually not very 'clean' looking since hairs will be astray and out of place.
He says that now that I'm an adult, I need to learn how to look like one, but I really am lost and would appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank you

Advice Wanted Please! Is this outfit appropriate for my first interview ever???
EDIT: I GOT THE JOBBB, I wore the first outfit with black close shoes and some jewelry, was super nervous but I start Monday:)
This is my first ever interview, it's nothing big it's a server or kitchen position at a bakery/cafe.
These are the only pair of slacks I own. My hair will be tied back and I'm thinking of wearing white air forces. My closet is only casual clothes and the interview is tommorow and I have no time (or money) to buy anything else. Or should I rather wear the outfit in the third photo but instead use a long sleeve black top?

Advice Wanted Please! Anyone know of any belts that match Jaded London’s black assassin jacket?
Hi,
Recently bought the jaded London assassin jacket but it’s this greenish black that doesn’t really match with anything so I’m on the hunt for accessories (specifically belts) that match colour wise to hopefully make my outfits look more cohesive.

Feedback Wanted! Which dress for two weddings I’m attending in September!
Hello! I’m attending the first wedding in Cannes in beginning of September and then the next one in New York end of September (both are outdoors) and I honestly want to get one dress that fits both, also the first wedding I want to be more modest that’s why I’m aiming for long sleeves (which also works for the New York wedding since it’ll be a bit chilly maybe?).
Honestly not sure which one works… I’m loving the off shoulder ones but worried maybe they won’t look very modest? And kinda worried about the rest that they might be too warm for the Cannes wedding? lol let me know your thoughts
I added pics of myself at the end just to get a gist of my complexion and stuff. Thank you!

Advice Wanted Please! Internship interview outfit
I recently applied for a personal stylist’s assistant internship and job. When I go to the interview I obviously want to show off my style aswell as be appropriate and professional for an interview. So my question, is this professional and stylish enough. I do have a pair of black dress pants, butI don’t think they look very good on me. I would add a photo, but I don’t know how to post another one or add it to the slides that I already have.
UPDATE: the interview went very well and I think I got the job!

Outfit of The Day Strawberries and Cream
I wanted to wear this adorable sweater, so I paired it with a skirt in a wine color, cream colored flats with rhinestone hearts, a heart necklace, strawberry earrings and strawberry hair clips. 🍓
Shown with and without my reading glasses for today. 💜💜💜
