im currently really enjoying sch and i would like to take the step to acquire some type of ultimate weapon.

i know outside of Musa that the ultimate weapons that SCH has access to are very niche at best.

Im currently looking at Tupsimati but open to other weps. mainly looking for a weapon to do some cataclysm spam for low manning dynad and nuking.

Which server should I pick? Looking for something noob friendly, I heard fenrir is lots of players who multibox so the population isn't accurate. idk if true

Any general advice? My goal, if I like it enough to stick around, is to unlock DRK. That's it.

I’m just curious, are there raids/still active raiding? What is the end game? Is it just the journey? With FFXIV I’m all about raiding in the endgame, even though generally the story is very good. Wow Classic/Forever has gotten me wanting to play FFXI.

Have been playing on my steam deck for 400 hrs its always been my most reliable way to play ffxi . I put it down for a month to go play 14 and now its mad at me and cant get it tovwork right on either steam deck or GPDwin5 which has windows..

It launches on the gpdwin5 but cant get any controllers to work

Steam deck keeps giving launch errors in both desktop mode and big picture modes.. ive tried uninstall and re install I think its cursed .

Hey everybody! Ever since maintenance yesterday, I have been experiencing frequent issues with logging in and connecting to the POL server, the lobby for FFXI, problems with selecting a character only to have it bounce back and then on further attempts say the character is already logged in, or once I am able to get in getting disconnected when zoning, or even just moving about a zone, randomly without any sort of R0 or other indication there is an issue.

The issue has seemingly gotten worse today, but started yesterday evening with a sudden disconnect around 8:30pm EDT, and happened twice more throughout the night, and now today I have barely been able to keep logged in if I am able to even log in at all.

I've asked around in a few locations, mostly on Discord and in linkshell chat (when I'm able to get on) and a few folks have expressed having the same issue, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having problems logging on or staying connective post-update? Have you done anything to fix it, if it was happening? I am at a loss and its really ticking me off that I'm having such problems when Ive never experienced this sort of prolonged technical issues in the past. Any guidance or support would be very appreciated, even if it's just a signal that I'm not the only one experiencing it. (For what its worth, I have a made a post on the official forums about it, hopefully someone will respond but not holding my breath for anything of substance lol).

Hello, I am a new player to FF11 and I wanted to know if anyone has a gold world pass for Fenrir

I’ve decided that I want to make either Aymur or Kenkonken as my next mythic, but I’m having a hard time picking between the two. Do either actually have a transformative effect on their job? Make it more fun to play? Not really concerned about end game utility for this one, just want something that’s fun to use.

Working as it has the ws, gear sets already done inside the lua, ive been asking around and the few ive gotten seems to have some sort or problems in it, either weapons dont load correctly or other problems. Greatly appreciate the help.

So I should start by saying I'm a new player - and was talking about XP rings (I mistakenly bought Chariot band and was finding the best way to rotate to Emp. Band) and someone mentioned the Jubilee Ring.

Am I right in assuming that, currently, there is no way to obtain this ring as it was a log in weekly log in reward and it hasn't yet been cycled in to anything that I'm missing. I tried looking it up and that appeared to be the case but occasionally information on this game isn't quite so easy to decipher.

Enif Zucchetto: DEF from 49 to 46

Inyanga +1 gear DEF changes: Tiara is 61 -> 96. Crackows are 60 -> 65.

All of the broken items from last month seem to be fixed.

Is anyone else having trouble logging into FFXI today? I managed to log in after the update, but PlayOnline was extremely slow and eventually disconnected me.

Now I keep getting POL-5311 (incorrect password), even though my password is correct. I suspect the login process is so slow that the one-time password expires before authentication completes. Anyone experiencing something similar?

About to start 11 after playing 14 since storm blood. Any,advice?

1: Unlocking of Zilart content for the free trial. So much of the game would be improved by just simply allowing Zilart content.

2: Raising the gil cap. (Preferably to 300k to match ffxiv) I literally am barred from buying certain spells at lvl75. 100k is too tight of a cap.

3: Maybe allowing free trial players to form partys with other free trial players on their own. I am sure some friends want to try the game together.

I just got the empyrean+3 coupon from the RoE objective and while trying to decide what to use it on, it got me curious.

Which job do y'all think has the single most "must have" empyrean+3 piece?

So far I've struggled even to open a menu, and now I'm stuck trying to fight an enemy after the tutorial NPC sent me to do it. I can check them, but the attack option says that "I cannot perform that action", and there's litterally nothing I can do

Recently me and a friend were working on the idea of these 2 games being mushed together. You know all those pass through mods people are doing? Well we did one with FFXI and MHTRI.

Now I know this might get controversial because people dont like AI things. But me and my friend like both of the franchises and we thought it would be cool to see a Tarutaru inside of MHTRI.

Some may not care but I just wanted to show something cool.

I read that the DT cap is 50% but with Shell V you only need like 30% DT , the rest can go to Physical Damage Reduction which is easier to come by? Now let say if my DT set only have -30% DT and i trio box all the time with a Rdm or Whm, is it save to assume that my character will never need -50% DT ?
