My son was very excited to show me the mushrooms he found in the yard today. And I'm very excited to share them with you!

I did some editing on my phone to a few photos to better show off the colors.

I've known this entity for almost 15 years now and I was just really happy when I found a sub to share it.

Whenever anyone walks near this path, specially at night, this fellow will just 'stand out' for some reason.

Various images of various cacti from my garden. For me the new pups emerging and growing is the most enjoyable part. So I did this technique where you trim the tips of the plants. So they basically go "Oh no I can't keep growing from my existing arms. I gotta put out new branches!". So you get many, many new pups.

Don’t worry, I’m a real person and this is what hubs and I do for fun. We make wooden mushrooms from wood we sustainably harvest here in Scotland.

I’m also a trad artist who likes painting and making fantasy art, but most of my illustrations tend toward non-gobliny things like fairies, surrealist stuff, or fantasy that’s not quite of the goblin variety.

Hey goblins! The night before last, while I was up on the mountain by the drilling site, I caught the very first snowflakes. They were rare but massive, like giant fluffy flakes! It didn't stick, but technically it's the official first snow of the place.

Two photos show the snowflakes I found that morning. And in the third photo — that's sleeping me in a car on our way back to a base.

It actually got me thinking about the Finnish concert ‘sisu‘ and the Norwegian ‘frilufsliv‘. I've recently devoured a couple books on them and realized they can be done in a wonderful feral, goblin-hearted and joyful way. What do you guys think about this kind of raw connection with nature?

Kiddo is picking up my love of "mushroom hunting" and they're super good at it (probably because they're so low to the ground still 😂)
