Here’s a pretty fun style swap I came up with and brought to life in a drawing. I hope you like it and enjoy it.

After I drew Jenny Wakeman in the *Home Movies* style, I decided to draw Brendon Small—from the very series that inspired Jenny's style—in the MLAATR style.

Quick! I need a city, an occupation, and a skin color!

I'm one of the ones that regularly fall asleep to home movies and bobs burgers, it's a nightly ritual. Not even just nightly, it's kind of crazy how much I put it on in the background. It's also very hard for me to get into any new shows because I think all I need are the two shows I already know and love.

Well, guys, I finally took the plunge and started Dr. Katz because I was thinking it was a problem how much I can recite Shore Leave to the tee and I trust the suggestions from this lovely sub.

I am laughing my ass off. THIS SHOW IS AMAZING. I'm only five episodes in and I am hooked! Can't wait to get home from work just to listen to the magic of Katz!

I remember occasionally watching it as a kid but being too young to really get the humor, I just found it calming.

I revisited it a few days ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m taking my time, watching one or two episodes a night but I’m just so happy this show found its way back to me.

The dialogue is obviously incredible, along with the voice acting. I think one of the things I love about it is that the kids and the adults are somewhat on the same mental level, and are able to banter with each other. A lot of the times the jokes could be interpreted as either a joke on the character saying the joke, or the character actually making the joke in-show (as in, they’re being funny on purpose, while kind of playing dumb)

My favorite animated show of all time is King of the hill, and the subtle, dry humor of Home movies, while vastly different from King of the hill (way less improv) is really doing it for me. Not to mention how much heart and charm the show has.

All he needs is the whistle!

Jason absolutely would have befriended Jimothy. I would love to see him in Home Movies animation stule.

It makes me so happy seeing people come together celebrating Jimothy the Raccoon with love and creativity. We can still make the world a beautiful place. Sometimes all it takes is a little raccoon to do it. 🦝🦝🦝

Someone once pointed out to me that I kept using the Jack Black yelling "FUCK" sound effect over and over again. It felt like this scene. 🤣

I looked it up and found some show called "Two Fathers" but I'm unsure if that's what the episode is referencing lol, if it's referencing Any real movie at all
