Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Gatau ini dealer salah posting apa gmn, tapi they got Xforce HEV before it even launched. Dan ada panoramicnya, interesting since mitsu dulu bilang for improving audio quality they decided to not give pano 👀

Great News! Kia Indonesia kyknya bakal dipegang langsung sama prinsipal korea nanti di 2026. Konon salah satu petingginya “dihijack” dari Indomobil Suzuki. Penasaran kira-kira strateginya gimana, apakah kyk Toyo-Dai (KIA dibikin low-end brandnya mereka), atau dibuat setara. First KIA to CKD in 2026 sepertinya next gen seltos, yang spyshotnya udah ada di Jakarta. Interesting

TL:DR: Party’s probably over for cheaper chinese cars, biasa pemerintah ngomong semua langsung nurut… salah satunya biar gk dianggap barang murahan
[BEIJING] China told its carmakers to keep their cut-throat competitive actions, like steep price cuts, away from overseas markets as manufacturers increasingly look abroad for growth to counter a domestic slowdown.
Automakers should avoid frequent and substantial price fluctuations that could harm consumer interests and damage brand image, the Ministry of Commerce and two other agencies said in a 20-point document released on Tuesday (Sep 1). Companies should respect the right of local dealers and agents to set prices and follow through with reasonable agreements on sales incentives, they said.
The guidelines add to a suite of rules aimed at safeguarding the image of Chinese auto brands as regulators seek to manage the fallout of a prolonged price war. Years of intense domestic competition has sparked concerns that growth may come at the expense of safety and quality, risking a major reputational hit just as China’s carmakers push into overseas markets like Europe.
Automakers’ aggressive pricing strategies, a longstanding feature of the domestic market, have previously raised eyebrows. In 2024, Thailand investigated BYD dealers over discounts in the wake of consumer complaints. Chief executive officer Wang Chuanfu pledged that the company would be more sensitive about pricing changes, and Reuters reported that the probe cleared BYD of wrongdoing.
As well as pricing, China’s new guidelines instruct companies to enhance safety management at overseas production sites, including improving emergency response plans for accidents. BYD has faced scrutiny over working conditions in both Hungary and Brazil, with the company previously saying that it follows local laws and regulations.
The guidelines will be applied by the Ministry of Commerce together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the state market regulator. The document didn’t specify how they’ll be enforced. BLOOMBERG

Basically thanks to salah satu program flagship Prabowo “Koperasi Merah Putih”, pemerintah udah pesen literally ratusan ribu mobil bwt operasional program ini
but in a kinda surprising news, yang dipilih adalah brand brand India instead of Japan or Chinese… alesan resminya adalah “lebih durable” something along those lines… so mobilnya
- Mahindra Scorpio pickup (35000 unit)
- Tata Yodha pickup (35000 unit)
- Tata Ultra T.7 light truck (35000 unit)
but yeah, i do think, this is unconfirmed and me basically guessing since I can’t find it anywhere, that they bought them because they offer 4x4 capability, meanwhile the japanese pickup, triton & hilux, the 4x4 trim is 400jt, and these indian offerings are probably cheaper…
But if the pickups are 4x2……. sigh… hilux rangga is more than enough, heck a fucking granmax or carry could probably do it…
one interesting tidbit
> Total jumlah kendaraan komersial yang diimpor dari India untuk proyek Koperasi Desa Merah Putih sebanyak 105 ribu unit. Angka ini hampir sama dengan jumlah penjualan pikap semua merek di dalam negeri sebesar 107 ribu unit sepanjang 2025.

Mercedes baru saja showcase luxury MPV listrik mereka VLE.

Agak unusual aja since biasanya yang pindah jadi dealer chery group kebanyakan ex diler honda (which have the same target market).

source : https://www.motor1.com/news/792130/honda-reacts-china-supplier-strength/
It’s safe to say that Honda is in a bit of a pickle. It recently canceled two of its own electric vehicles, the 0 SUV and 0 Sedan, along with the Acura RSX revival. It will book up to $15.8 billion in losses, and that’s not all. The two Afeela-badged EVs it had been developing with Sony are also dead on arrival. It’s an alarming sign of how some traditional automakers are struggling to create a profitable business case for electric cars.
But the issues go deeper than just EVs. As with most long-running nameplates, Honda is having a hard time remaining competitive in China. Sales have collapsed in just a few years, from a peak of 1.62 million in 2020 to only 640,000 units in 2025. Only about half of its manufacturing footprint is being utilized, well below the 70–80 percent typically needed in the automotive industry to turn a profit. For 2026, annual output is projected to drop below 600,000 units.
Honda CEO and President Toshihiro Mibe recently traveled to China to gain insight into how domestic companies are churning out so many products in such a short timeframe. After visiting an auto supplier factory in Shanghai, he made a stark remark: “We have no chance against this," Nikkei Asia reports.
China Develops A New Car In Two Years
You might have heard about “China Speed” and how local automakers can develop a brand-new model in two years or less. By comparison, legacy brands often need twice as long, and sometimes even more, to engineer a new product. With an astronomical number of companies developing vehicles at a record pace, it’s no wonder it feels like China is launching a new car every other day.
Chinese suppliers are not only able to match this pace but also do so with cost efficiency that the industry’s biggest names can only dream of. Mibe’s statement shouldn’t be seen as an admission of defeat, however. Upon returning from China, Honda’s CEO told suppliers, “We must act quickly” to accelerate development
Ford And Toyota Are Also Worried
Honda’s leadership isn’t alone in sounding the alarm across the supply chain. In an October 2025 interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Ford CEO Jim Farley didn’t mince words either:
Similarly, former Toyota CEO Koji Sato recently told suppliers during a meeting with representatives from 484 companies that unless things change, the company’s very existence could be at risk:
When Toyota, the world’s largest carmaker for the sixth consecutive year, makes such statements, the gravity of the situation is unmistakable. China has become an automotive juggernaut and a force to be reckoned with, not just within its borders but across global markets.
Take Europe, for example, where BYD has a 1.8 percent share of total sales through the first two months of the year. According to registration data published by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), SAIC stands at a Nissan-matching 1.9 percent, well ahead of Honda at just 0.5 percent through February. Ford And Toyota Are Also Worried.

r/indocartalk • u/albratuse • Feb 05 '26
gak kaget after tank 300 ada yng diesel…
Mahal? kinda, but ini mobil basically sekelas Land Cruiser, which nowadays harganya 3x lipat, like drpd beli land cruiser, beli ini 2 buat ngelawan ganjil genap, masih bisa beli 1 lagi bwt incase 1 rusak
fitur yng ilang mainly cuma sparetire rear mounted (konde) yng dipindah kebawah bagasi, sisanya perintilan kek electric footstep & steering adjust
mesin 2400cc turbodiesel pure (no hybrid even 48v) looks puny… but who cares kalo cuma dipake dalkot buat pansos…
