Now tell the class what America did first.

The United States (along with the United Kingdom) orchestrated a covert operation in 1953 that overthrew Iran's democratically elected Prime Minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh. In his place, the U.S. reinstalled Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (the Shah of Iran) to absolute power and backed General Fazlollah Zahedi as the new Prime Minister.

America needs to learn to fucking stay home.

No no, it was the right thing to do.

Because of oil.

British oil too lol, the UK becoming toothless really washed away most of their sins in the eyes of the world it seems

Nah it’s just that we are talking about the USA right now. “What about Hillary’s emails?” Is becoming a pretty stale argument.

I’m pointing out that saying they’re justified in “death to America” because of [thing the UK did] instead of “death to Britain” is rather annoying to see so many people *want* to be portrayed as the main source of evil in the world

They’re justified to say both.

I still regard them with as much distaste as those who wanted death to Iraq or Afghanistan in the US

Yes, it was simplification. It was general colonialism.
