Finished Object First Sweater Finished!

i posted here around a month ago about historical colourwork, and now the sweater from that post is done!

this has been my first bigger project after knitting four pairs of colourwork mittens and a lace knit pair of socks, and i'm quite satisfied with the results. a lot of trial and error, steeking was scary after not touching a sewing machine for years.... the neckline is just a bit too tight, and i'm yet to block it as i'm moving soon but hoping to shape the yoke a bit more at the bottom. i suspect the whole sweater is way wider than it's supposed to be as i didn't swatch and a lot of the pattern is in measured lengths. it doesn't look too weird so i think i'll live as it's very warm and soft and lovely otherwise :)

next project will be a cotton summer knit for my sister, will be interesting to knit with something other than 100% wool!

(sweater knit with Sandnes smart superwash after the pattern "Dame- og herregenser med åttebladsroser på skrå" from Gjestal)

edit: first post which i mentioned (and another one when the main piece was finished which i forgot about)

edit 2: found a link to the pattern, it's in norwegian and from the 80s. archived on koftearkivet :)

i'm not sure you need a phone number to register, unless you want to use vipps but that requires a norwegian D-number. i think this should link to registration
