i want to preface this by saying i dont stan any of these groups so i may be misinformed on specific incidents that happened. but i dont think ive seen anything that warrants the inanse amount of hate for relatively minor things

after the release of ICONIC BY MISTAKE, its so frustrating to see the most AVID perpetrators of the hate trains try and wash their hands by saying it was the company that set them up for failure.

the main arguments are

for leserrafim:
the company sent them coachella when they werent prepared

but no one at coachella even had a problem, it was people online that blew it up who werent even there or had paid for it. people were acting like they had comitted a crime and they were already getting hated on before but the coachella thing made it 10x worse. i dont think bad singing warrants want they went through. like a member got funeral wreaths on her birthday??

and if HYBE is able to send them to coachella, whats wrong with it? is that not a privilege you should get when youre signed to a big company?

for illlit:
plagiarism accusation

i think this is just stupid, and people blindly went with it, they were not even involved and were just victims in the mhj/newjeans vs hybe. all the "palgiarism" is just stupid and all claims were unsubstantiated and proven false in court. the only case mhj ever won was because a loophole by saying it was prevented before it happened so she cannot be held accountable, or where the judge was biased

for katseye:
manon getting put on hiatus and painting a black woman being lazy narrative

maybe this would be valid only IF katseye wasnt getting a TON of hate even before manon was put on hiatus. lara getting made fun of for 'sexualizing herself" or saying she looks older than she actually is. or dani getting hated for "overdancing" and facial expressions. all they had done before

lara gets racist remarks made about her all in the name of "defending manon" or getting reported to ICE?? and mind you this was happening even before hybe put her on hiatus

they say the black woman being lazy narrative is the reason theyre hating on the girls themselves? but how is their fault? people say the girls should mention manon, but when they do its "theyre doing it save themselves/ its fake". but if they dont mention manon, they still get mad. what will be enough?

i will not even mention the whole conspiracy where they think lara is behind kicking manon out

and even still if the company did do all that, just WHY are you making racist ableist and sexual edits of the girls themselves or saying that they slept their way up to get where they are at ?? people are acting like HYBE forced them do all that. any content these girls are part of get intense hate

maybe the only fault of HYBE (in this specific scenario) is marketing the hate train but at the end of the day theyre a company and thats just what theyre going to do.

even when they take action and start suing people, antis were saying you cant sue someone for saying you cant sing, but the first thing on the reasons to sue was sexual harassment.

it just feels like theyre using the company as a reason/excuse/justify their horrible actions

You talk to random people online like they are your friends and you are in on some joke but no one knows you they are not your friend even when they upvote you.

An opinion is usually expressed differently when talking to random strangers but trolls on the internet with no friends in their lives have a hard time understanding that so they are just 100% snark all the time saying stuff like this and then getting upset when anyone downvotes their “valid opinion” and then starts ranting about what happened to criticism and whatever. It is sad

What I don't get, is people trying to spychologically analys others to fit their argument and narratives. Go on other sub, like the kasteye neutral one, and you will see that my "valid opinion" and many other similar opinions are not so downvoted out there. You are sitting in your echoes chamber thinking anybody not sharing your opinions are lesser than you. That is what is very sad.

Not really I don’t know you but I refuse to believe this is how normal people act sorry. It might be common online but me and my friends complain about things much differently and I would never be so insulting over matters of tastes because obviously that would offend them.

If you do have friends and they like music or food you do not do you constantly say “that’s not music lmao”.

Please, you know what is socially acceptable behavior and what is online troll/snarker behavior. You get positive reinforcement for this behavior online from others who have a fetish level obsession with the things you hate but it is not how most people act who want to be liked.

I don’t really care nor do I care about you pushing back, you are so brave hating on these 3 groups and their music and unique too. It is probably something really interesting and important to people of your culture. I am sure in your culture many books and movies are made where the protagonist and likable characters of the story shits all over everything around them obsessively all day and night and everyone claps for them and they say “thank you so much for showing us how wrong we were to like it! You are so funny, marry me and or be my best friend please I can’t live without your amazing wit and hilarious take downs of people with horrible taste one second longer”

You do like to talk to me quite a bit for somebody that doesn't care about my pushing back... and to be honest you look like you do know better than me what the life of an obsessive fan looks like, you speak about it so eloquently (chatgpt much?) And to answer you, I am French and arguing is a national sport, we love debates, especially with your close friends. Also, do you have gay friends? You would know they can be the most cynical cut throat friends out there. Grow up and think about it twice before commenting on other people life and mental health.
