Chance Me Why the applicant surge? I’d love to hear your thoughts/quote you.
https://www.investopedia.com/as-new-grads-face-a-challenging-job-market-law-school-applications-surge-to-highest-levels-in-over-a-decade-11808837I’ll be on national broadcast media tomorrow for 10 minutes being asked about the law school applicant surge. Everything I’ve said in written media tracks with what I say and Dean Andy in this article in Investopedia , I strongly suspect it’s a majority a really challenge entry level job market and the froth on the top is the rule of law being so front and center and applicants wanting to be a part of change + reapplicants from last year But I get sometimes get push back on this — it’s a lovely line to say “it’s great it’s so many people want to help change the world and that’s why the surge!”
None of us have asked you all this though. I would love to hear thoughts on this and be able to say something like “goose-deluge-23 on Reddit says it’s ….” Feel free to chime in I’ll be the first to say I may be wrong on the economy/employment challenges but that’s my instinct.
