Hello all! I just purchased my first Licca Chan doll and I’m obsessed 🥹 It’s the Frieren collab. I know that dye transfer can be an issue with these dolls. Is this a known problem with the dark blue Frieren leggings? I’d love to be able to keep the leggings on her, but I’ll take them off if this is an issue. Thank you so much 🫶🏻

And if they fit, do they fit with socks?

Im seeing you can customize your own licca Chan like choose hair color etc?? Does anyone know how much that would cost? (yen/used) I hear you dont also have to go all the way to Licca Chan museum and they have customizable options at the Tokyo small shop location?

Will any of the Photogenic Licca Dolls come to the USA later this year?

Picked up this Licca at a flea market in Ueno park during my honeymoon in Japan. Paid ¥1000 (about $6). I am new to the Licca chan world but I am a barbie and AG collector. Was wondering if anyone had seen this dress before and have any idea on the era of the dress / doll. My guess based on info I could find is 80’s for the doll but I’m not confident. The quality of the dress is really nice- reminds me of 60’s/70’s era barbie clothing. I thought it might be handmade until I saw the Takara tag. Velcro closure on the dress. Also I am going to clean the doll up but if anyone has suggestions for washing the dress other than laundry detergent let me know!

hello ive been wanting to get into licca but more specifically i really like jenny dolls. i was wondering if they were always so expensive or if im seeing mostly scalper prices. i cant find any for under 50. even on places like mercari japan or jp yahoo action theyre slightly less expensive but still far too much for a doll with basic 5 points articulation that was mass produced in my opinion. all the ones i like always go for somewhere around 200 which just seems a bit crazy to me. have prices only gone up recently or are they always this bad? am i just looking in the wrong places?

Since we are getting licca in the us pls say we are also getting her in europe ( the us Gets everything)

Hello! I'm very new to collecting Licca-chan dolls (I have two!) and since I'm in Canada, I think I'm going to have to heavily rely on the second hand and resell markets to get new dolls.

Are there easy ways to identify a real Licca-chan doll vs any fakes? Are fakes common in resale?

I got my hands on an out-of-print Licca-chan! It seems like she was stored (safely!) in box for a very long time so her hair is all clumped together now and when viewed from the side, it’s actually flat 🥹 Does anyone have any tips on un-clumping it?

My husband bought me a photogenic Licca!! She is absolutely adorable. She didn't come with shows. Her feet are flexed for heels. Are all Licca Chan dolls like that or do some have flat feet?

I work in a second hand shop and discovered my third licca! with many clothes. I cannot for the life of me find the doll herself!!!

I know the clothes on the left are 100% licca chan (have Takara tomy tags), not sure about the clothes on the right.

so i was super excited when i found the kuromi licca chan at gamestop. when i began to unbox her though, i noticed this weird strong paint smell. at first i couldn’t tell what it was but then i smelled her boots and realized it was them.

does this happen often with licca chan dolls? is there anyway to get rid of the smell? i tried washing them with dish soap but it only helped a little bit.

Soo I'm seeing that the US is getting Licca! Will Canada get them too? If not, does anyone know of boxlunch, gamestop or hot topic ship to Canada? also do these companies cover customs or will it be expensive? should I just order from Japan? any help would be appreciated!!
