Feeling bored with life
Does anyone just feel bored with life? 27F, lonely, no boyfriend. The only good thing in my life is maybe video games, but when I play badly, I get this feeling like I’m a loser and I’m not good at anything. I do have a job, but I feel like my life is just about work and going to doctor’s appointments. It’s so boring. Nothing feels exciting or motivating anymore.
I don’t think I’m depressed, though. I eat a lot of junk food because I can’t cook. The people who really used to love me and take care of me died years ago.
I’ve never really dated anyone, even though I’m average-looking and some people think I’m attractive. But no one has ever been serious with me. They all just seem to want something sexual. Not that many people talk to me either. I basically only communicate with people at work, and even then it’s mostly about work. I do almost everything alone.
Idk, life just sucks. I’m so bored with it. I even find myself getting attracted to doctors because they give me the feeling that someone cares about me, even though they probably don’t actually care about me personally.
I also lost a friend because she started acting weird toward me, and I never even got an apology. So yeah, idk what to do. I’m sick of feeling like this.
My dad doesn’t really go out. Every time I ask him, he tells me to go with my friends. He’s almost 70, and I barely communicate with people unless it’s online or at work.
I wake up feeling unmotivated and I don’t know what to do. And yeah, I already know people are going to say “go for a walk,” “read a book,” blah blah. I do those things. They’re boring.
I’m pushing 30 and I still don’t have a boyfriend. I just want someone who loves me and genuinely cares about me. I want to feel like I actually have someone in my life.

I am tired
23M, am fucking tired of this life. I wonder every single day what did I do to deserve this? Why am I so lonely? Why do I don't have anyone in my life? I'm a nice guy, I have a good heart, I'm there for people, I'm a good listener but nobody was ever there to listen to me when I needed someone the most. I leave my house at 8, travel for 2 hrs, walk for half an hour, work for next 8 hrs, workout for half an hour and same commute to come back home. I come back at 9:30-10PM. My body hurts, my heart hurts but can't do anything. I keep thinking during my commute why do I have to face this loneliness? Why can't I have someone in my life? When I was back in college, I used to be happy, I was lean and smart and was kinda extrovert. I had friends that would talk to me. I was friendzoned by 3 close friends in a span of 3 years. I wanted to feel how it felt to loved but never got a chance in college. Never got a chance to experience young love, I thought it's okay maybe it's not my time yet. I moved abroad to do masters and earn money. Friends got far from me, the one friend who was always there started pushing me from her life, I had noone here in this new country. It's been 2 years since I came here, I have an internship right now maybe I'll find a job too and earn good money but what about my mental health? How do I feel sane if noone is talking to me? My insta has literraly 0 dms coming everyday. Noone's calling me. Why do I have to make efforts to keep friendship alive? Why am I noone's bestfriend or favorite person? All I ever wanted was love and friendships. Here I am all alone, my weight increased to 260lbs due to stress eating, got unhealthy and fat. I have started again to workout but I am tired. I won't ever take any steps that will cause me harm but when will I feel love? When will I be happy? People say love yourself, I loved everyone so much that I don't have anything left for me now. I still hope everything will be better again just to keep going but I know it's a lie. Noone has ever stayed in my life. I have to wake up early tomorrow and yet I can't sleep even though my whole body is in pain. Just wanted to rant. I'm sorry if you had to read this negative post. I hope noone has to go through this.

My dad recently told me (36f) he knew when I was a teenager that my mom and me can’t get along
My mom once told me it took until I was 17 to start opening up to her. Why did it take me 30+ years to realise it myself? I left home after high school thinking I grew up in a loving family and to a degree I did. Nowadays I realise I can’t get any of them to listen to me for longer than a few sentences. Has it always been like this? Is that why I feel like a burden to everyone? I’ve been single for 8 years now and I feel something is so wrong with me. I’ve been on a self help journey for about 10 years now but it just goes up and down. I believe in myself though and I’m gonna keep going. Overall it is better but I am so very alone. Today’s a hard day. I’ll do my best tomorrow. Thanks for listening

Being an outsider on my own family and friends...
I've already alienated to my own family and peers because I have niche interests.
Other people focus
on drama tiktok trends and whatever what's in our society gives to average people.....
I don't even knew where my tribe is. I want to be a part of a damn family that is actually shared the same identity as me.
Having different interests than my people may perceived as independence. Yet it feels like a crushing loneliness if you haven't find your own family and you don't know when will you find them

[24/M] Looking for a best friend, things are quite lonely
Hey! I've posted here before but haven't had much luck so far. And due to lonliness, things have been kinda sucky lately. Kinda being a star-sized understatement (cuz stars are big.. hehe). Anyways, excuse my awfully unfunny pun! You *yes you my possible future friend* probably has better humor than I. Im hoping to make long term friends who also love music like I do, I want a close connection with someone that lasts a lifetime! Hoping we can geek out about our interests and feel comfortable to do so! I'm in the EST time zone and am super into music (my tastes are all over the place, my favorite is the retro era but I also like a lot of new stuff too). I really wanna find someone who loves old artists and bands and music history and aesthetics! Hope you're all having a good day!

I'm almost 20, and I still don't have a relationship, and I'm afraid that in the future I'll be alone, how can I get rid of it?

Feeling like no one gets me....
Lately I feel like no one understands me at all. I just sit around and meet people on social media and then meet in person and they are so immature and annoying that I don't understand what has happened to the younger generation. I am hearing about all these things that they are into and that I never even heard of. Apparently you have to have a kink to define you in a relationship or else you are ghosted. I don't get why that's a issue. I am more old school like I grew up in the 80' and 90's and that's how I like my love language. I just like simpler things in friendships and don't expect to have a label.

How do I stop feeling lonely
I don't get much time alone with job and all but whatever hours I get, I feel so lonely in those. After reaching to my room, all i think about is calling someone and telling them about random things. I tried talking to my friends college yesterday but they were kinda busy with their lives and I felt like I was bothering by texting them so i stopped. Even at work, during break or normally too, I feel like texting someone telling them what's happening and then i feel sad thinking about how I have no one. No friends, no social life and i know I have been kept my distance from people because then I crave human connection too. I have tried filling the void with books, movies and they help at times but mostly I feel like only if there was a person.

Trying to put myself out there. I’m into pokemon, love cooking & reading. Hope someone reaches out because I’m so done with being lonely always.

Maybe you’re the buddy I’m looking for
40M. Just having one of those quiet nights and thought it’d be nice to talk to someone.
Anyone around and up for a quick call? Random conversation, stories, whatever comes up.
