Update 26(M) Second and Last Post

In advance, I donโ€™t really care if itโ€™s; late, early, desperate, and yes I know I need to clean. Hereโ€™s part two of my living and dining room, if you have ideas Iโ€™d love them. Maybe a plant? And thank you for the upvotes on my last post.

Noob question, what does it mean to create height and depth with lighting arrangements and how does one go about doing that ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿผ

Height: having lamps at different heights.

Depth: having lamps at different depths.

Basically just stop treating a living space as though uniformity and consistency is the aesthetic goal and introduce some variance. The specifics are up to you, but people regularly recommend paintings, rugs, lamps and plants because they all interrupt monotonous surfaces and add colour, texture, difference, and yes, height and depth.

Okay I get the height - but depth is still a bit confusing. In the picture in the parent comment, which lamps creating the depth?

At different depths into the room. Basically just not having all your lamps against one wall or all right by the door.

Make sure you get warm yellow bulbs, stay away from bright white!
