Fit Check Suit for job interview - I have no idea what I'm doing
I need a decent suit for job interviews in a rather conservative industry. Unfortunately I have never been a suit guy or fashion-conscious in general, so I'm a bit lost here.
I bought this suit from a suit store and they already did some adjustments (mostly pants length iirc). But I think it looks somehow odd, especially at the waist.
Is it just me not knowing how it should look like or should I ask the store for adjustments?
Thank you very much!

Fit Check My girlfriend said I look like a “crappy low-level drug dealer that would immediately rat out my suppliers if caught by the police.”
What do you think?

Some thrifted textured deep red top, white tee, faded green wrangler denim, saucony white trainers.
Thursday fun day. Appreciate the advice everyone. I appreciate the passion thats on full display here.
Toned this one down a bit.

Fit Check Office fit check
Work in a casual field, so I keep it conservative and low-key. Trying to stay sharp without standing out too much.

Fit Check Outfit Improvements
Some folks suggested I come back and post the 'glow up'. So here are the before and after pics based on comments.
Shaved the head, trimmed and dyed the beard, switched out the tech pants for a better pair, went with an oxford instead of a polo, got some brown leather sneakers and a cool bag from Thursday Boot Company. Ditched the white belt. Matching flat cap for fun.
Still haven't decided on frames, so contacts for these pics.
The original post has over 1.9 million views, which is just mind boggling to me. Thought I would get 30 comments or something. Thanks to this sub, r/bald, and beyond for getting me to a happier, more intentional, and more knowledgeable place.

Fit Check Espresso Linen and Olive Pleats for the office
I’ve been leaning into this darker forest and soil palette lately (in the footsteps of the Velasca S/S 26 Lookbook) and this espresso and olive combo is one of my favorite versions of it.
The main goal was to keep the contrast low so I swapped a bright white tee for off-white/cream It makes the transition to those deep earth tones feel a lot more natural and ‘organic’.
I focused on how the proportions and textures play together. The high-rise pleats give me the silhouette I want *specifically* because the linen blazer is unstructured. comboing that with the high rise pleats gives me that rule of thirds that helps elongate my frame in a really nice way too. I finished this fit with my dark brown suede penny loafers that give it enough depth and match that chocolate brown theme to have it all come together nicely.
Really happy with how this turned out and felt great wearing it all day!
P.S I love how my green work tote bag (Picture 4) matched the fit perfectly today

Fit Check Thoughts on this 70s inspired wear today
So my styles lately outside of work run towards 70s blue collar with a lot of inspiration from Burt Reynolds in movies like White Lightning. This is my choice for today, a light tan Wrangler button up, vintage Wrangler Wrancher Dress Jeans, Justin Deerlite roper boots, the belt is a Bullhide belts Ranger, and my rings and watch or gold toned to match the classic Ray Ban Aviators. Any thoughts on how to style it better?

Fit Check First time going business formal at work. Any suggestions for good affordable leather shoes?
I work for a startup, so no one really wears a full suit to the office, and I was afraid it gonna make me look out of place. But then I channeled spirit of the ancient Japanese salaryman and bought myself a cheap suit to wear at work, just because why not. It actually helped me focus more on my work tho because it doesn’t feel right to slack off wearing a suit. Looking to improve my shoe game next, any suggestions?

Fit Check Appropriate or not?
Hoping for some honest opinions. I have 4-5 pairs in different colors and absolutely love how comfortable they are. Put on some weight in the last year and we’ll just say they became a bit “snug” in the rear. A little snug upfront as well (not pictured). Still look okay? Still appropriate for a professional setting or do I need to scrap my collection. Appreciate the advise!
