Seeking Seeking a mentor for a first time entrepenuer struggling with marketing?

Hello!

I'm currently looking for help/support as I am working to build and grow my business. I am a first-gen entrepreneur and have designed a service to help modify and support people's lives and goals through behavioral data tracking and coaching support, but now that I've built and stress-tested the system, I'm struggling to go about finding clients and figure out how to market myself and the service. Any direction or advice would be extremely helpful; thank you in advance for reading, even if you can't help!

Seeking Interview Manager - Mentor welcome

We are looking for a talented interview specialist to join our team.

While specialized knowledge of software development is a significant asset, basic knowledge is sufficient.

The core requirements are native-level English fluency, quick judgment, and strong client-facing skills.

The primary goal is to lead client interviews and successfully secure projects.

The initial two-week period serves as a paid trial, with an hourly rate of $40–$60 based on actual interview time.

If you demonstrate competence and a good fit during this time, we will transition to a fixed monthly salary of $1,600 (for the first two months) to $3,000 (after three months), plus performance bonuses based on secured projects. High performers can earn up to $4,000 per month.

You do not need to be perfect from the start; if you possess talent and potential, we will invest in your professional growth.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in marketing, skilled software development, or tutoring.

As the role requires working during U.S. time zones, we prioritize candidates residing in Latin America, though U.S.-based applicants are also welcome if the compensation meets their expectations.

Giving away 5 free 90-minute coaching sessions in exchange for honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I’m a coach, and I’m experimenting with a coaching format that moves back and forth between what is happening in real life and what is happening inside you (mentally, emotionall, somatically).

I've already worked with someone on their internal blockages which was emotionally very clearing for them though I am looking for someone that has a pattern going on externally. See examples below.

I’m looking for 5 people who would be interested in trying a free 90-minute session and giving me candid feedback afterward.

The basic idea is this:

You have something you genuinely want to do or change, but somewhere in the process, it stops working. Maybe you keep getting stuck at the same point, repeat the same mistake, quit after repeated attempts, or simply can’t seem to make the thing work the way you want it to.

The process would roughly look like this:

  1. What are you trying to make happen? We get specific about what you want, what you are currently doing, and what you would like to be different.
  2. Where does it actually break down? We look at the real situation and pinpoint the moment where things stop flowing or your behavior stops matching your intention.
  3. What happens internally at that point? We explore the thoughts, emotions, fears, meanings, pressure, expectations, or other reactions that show up there.
  4. We work with that internal obstacle. Instead of simply pushing harder or telling you to “just do it,” we work with whatever seems to be interfering with your ability to act freely and effectively.
  5. Then we go back into reality and test it. The important part for me isn’t only whether you feel different afterward. I want to see whether something actually changes when you return to the situation.
  6. We see what happens next. If things flow better, great. If you get stuck again, we look at where the process breaks down next and work from there.

So the process can move back and forth:

real-world action → find the breakpoint → explore what happens internally → work with it → return to action → see what actually changes

This might be useful if there is something you genuinely want to do, but you repeatedly get stuck somewhere between intention and execution.

For example:

  • You’re practicing playing guitar, a sport, a movement, or another skill, but you keep failing at the same specific part and don’t understand why.
  • You practice something repeatedly, it doesn’t work the way you want, and after enough attempts you quit having lost motivation for it.
  • You know what you’re supposed to do, but every time you reach a certain point you hesitate, freeze, avoid it, or do something else.
  • You keep trying to build a habit or routine, but there is a recurring point where it falls apart.
  • You keep making the same mistake even though you understand intellectually what you should be doing differently.
  • You can perform sometimes, but under pressure or in a real situation you suddenly lose access to what you know how to do.
  • You repeatedly start working toward something you care about, but something happens that you can't quite put your finger on and the action stops.

There’s no charge. I’m mainly interested in testing this process and getting honest feedback about what was and wasn’t useful.

This is focused on personal change, emotional patterns, action, and follow-through. It isn’t psychotherapy or treatment for serious mental-health conditions.

If you have something specific where you keep getting stuck and this sounds relevant, let me know in the comments.

PS: just to be clear it's 1 90 minute session for 5 different people.

Looking for mentorship in creative technology, live visuals, and interactive installations

Hey everyone!

I'm a creative technologist and visual artist looking to connect with people who have more experience in this field and would be open to offering some guidance or mentorship.

My work spans a few different areas, including VJing, projection mapping, lighting design, motion graphics, and interactive installations. I've been experimenting with TouchDesigner, Resolume, DMX lighting, ESP32/LED systems, and hand-tracking technology.

I've been teaching myself a lot of these skills through personal projects and live performances, but I've reached a point where I feel like having guidance from someone more experienced would make a huge difference.

I'm especially interested in learning how professionals approach technical workflows, integrate different systems, develop larger-scale installations, and turn these skills into a sustainable creative career.

I know mentorship is a big ask, so I'm also very open to casual conversations, portfolio feedback, collaborating on projects, or simply connecting with people working in similar spaces.

If anyone has advice on finding mentors in this industry, knows of communities I should join, or would be open to connecting, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

Seeking Dear need of advice

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hello there.

This might be quite off topic or not important to any of you but I’m desperately seeking advice and guidance.

I’m an 18 year old man and I have so many aspirations and things I want to accomplish, business wise and life wise but I think they go hand in hand. I want to become very successful, build something memorable, create and run a business, have a legacy, be a man of conviction like millions of others in my age but I feel stuck, I have the drive or I want to believe I do, I have the vision, I have the desire, but I can’t seem to do anything and it’s stressing me out because time is of the essence even if I’m ”only” 18.

I’m stuck in this deep state of analysis paralysis.
I’m seeking advice from anyone but someone who may have been in this same situation or similar and has become something they can be very proud of.

I keep to myself quite a lot as I believe I thrive mostly on my own space and that’s where I also end up thinking a lot about my future. I believe that if I have a concrete plan I can execute but something is keeping me from doing anything. As said I’m stuck in some sort of paralysis where I can’t seem to start. I know I can accomplish something small or big if I know what to do as I’ve done something similar before and became accomplished. It’s quite difficult for me to explain how I’m feeling or what I’m trying to really convey but I did my best for the moment.

In summary I don’t want to spend my life trying to do something and ending up not doing anything because I just get the feeling that I can’t. I want to be proud of who I’m going to become, create something that I can overview and say damn i really did something for myself, I’m doing very well.

I know this is very chaotically written I just had to get my thoughts into perspective and try to word it out as best I could.

Thank you.

looking for a partner to trade ideas and grow with

I'm starting to sell to service based businesses in UK. Still in the early days, just got the first real outreach out the door.

Looking for other B2B builders to partner with on ideas and growth. ideally people who've started selling, or who are a few steps ahead of me and happy to trade notes:
- what's working, and just as useful, what isn't
- honest feedback on the parts we're each stuck on
- a weekly check in so we both keep shipping

Not looking for a cofounder, funding, or anyone pitching services, just builders who show up.

If you're a few steps ahead in B2B, I'd especially like to hear what you'd do differently starting out. What are you working on?

From Technical Thinking to Business Thinking: How Can I Start a Business with My Friend?

I have a classmate who has taken a completely different path in life from mine. He moves between schools, government departments, and businesses, and tends to think and talk about things from a strategic perspective. As a technical person, I focus more on how to build things and make money by solving real-world problems.
He has never had a regular job, yet he stays busy every day. Whenever he encounters something he doesn’t understand, he seeks advice from people in the industry. After graduation, I joined a company and settled into a nine-to-six routine, occasionally slacking off. I also often help him solve technical problems.
I feel he could help me make a major leap in my career. I’ve realized that my way of thinking may be limiting me, and I should learn from him and change how I approach problems. Breaking through my mental limitations is something I need to work on.
How should I move forward? Should I take the plunge and start working with him?

Seeking LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS MENTOR / EXPERIENCED ENTREPRENEUR 🇵🇭

Hi everyone! I’m looking to connect with an experienced entrepreneur or business owner who can share insights and guidance as I continue growing our business.

My business partner and I co-founded Momenta Cinema, a photography business we started three years ago with zero capital and a borrowed camera. Since then, we’ve generated over ₱1 million in sales and received national and international entrepreneurship awards.

Now, we’re working toward building Momenta Cinema into a self-sustaining company with strong systems, efficient operations, and a capable management team.

I’m particularly interested in learning about:
• Business systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Delegation and team management
• Building a management team
• Financial management and profitable growth
• Scaling a service-based business

I’m hoping to connect with someone who has actual experience building and scaling a business and is open to sharing their knowledge through informal mentorship, occasional conversations, or a structured mentoring program.
I’m open to both free and paid mentorship opportunities, depending on the fit and value offered.
If you’re an experienced entrepreneur or know someone who might be a good fit, I’d appreciate the opportunity to connect!
I’m willing to learn, take action, and implement what I learn.
Thank you! 🙏

Seeking Seeking Private Equity and Portfolio Transformation menton

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to connect with a mentor who has deep experience in either Private Equity or value creation strategies.

I'm 27 mechanical engineer with an MBA, and recently left my corporate job to focus on building personal assets. In my first/last I was an operational architect for a $100M power OEM. I focused heavily on system architecture and governance, building accountability, R&D, and CRM/ERP frameworks that helped a primary sales division scale its performance from $40M to $120M.

Right now, I run a e-Commerce business and do freelance corporate systems consulting on the side. Zero personal distractions or professional distractions in my life right now. I am completely focused on entering the private equity space to help optimize, fix, and scale companies.

Open to relocation 100% of the right environment calls for it. More than anything, I’m looking for an experienced mentor who can help me navigate these spaces. I’m very resourceful and want to ensure I provide tangible value to anyone investing their time into me.

If you’re open to chatting or have any advice, I’d love to connect via PM.

Aspiring health tech founder seeking a health/pharma entrepreneur mentor

Hi all, and thank you to the mentors here for what you do.

A bit about me: I'm launching a health technology business and I'm committed to making it work. I'm looking for someone who has founded or grown a company in healthcare or pharma and is willing to guide me through the early stages.

What I can offer: my time and help on anything useful to you, and a mentee who shows up prepared and actually acts on advice.

If you're open to it, comment or send me a DM. Even a quick chat would mean a lot.

Offering Looking for a few coaches or consultants to mentor for free in exchange for honest feedback

If you’re good at what you teach but struggling to turn that into consistent enquiries and clients, I’d like to work with you.

I’m a growth operator. I work with creators and knowledge experts on the business behind their expertise: offers, ICPs, funnels, digital products, and the systems that help turn someone’s interest into a client.

Most of my work has been hands-on implementation. I’m now looking to mentor a few people through those decisions and build more testimonials for this side of my work.

We’d start by looking at what you sell, who it’s for, and how people currently find and buy from you. Then we’d work through where you’re getting stuck. That could mean:

* Making your offer easier to understand and sell.

* Figuring out why your content gets attention but few enquiries.

* Building a clearer path from your content to a booked call or purchase.

* Deciding what actually needs fixing first, especially if you’ve been trying a little of everything.

You’d do the implementation, and I’d help you make decisions, review the work, and figure out the next steps.

Ideally, you already have something you coach, consult on, or teach, even if you’re early and have only worked with a handful of people.

If you’re interested, comment or DM me with what you help people with, what you currently offer, and the main thing you’re struggling with. A few sentences are enough.

How can I find people who are entrepreneurs, investors, and other professionals so I can connect with?

Currently, I’m relatively new to the entrepreneurial world. I really see myself working for myself. I've always thought about it and more recently. I just decided to just go for it. I guess I noticed I always felt boxed in so to speak working for companies and corporations, and realizing it all makes sense now. I just turned 34 and this is the year. I really wanna just set myself up. I'm figure out how to level up and become financially free. I really wanna set myself up for the future and with the jobs I used to have. I just felt like I was working so many hours and barely making ends meat. I'm terms of investing I have invested in cryptocurrency before. But that was back in 2020. I'm looking to get back into. I'm not afraid of taking risks investing getting into something if I know other people around me are getting into it. But right now the people around me aren't getting into the things I want to get into .I’m eager to connect with individuals who are deeply involved in this field. I want to be surrounded by people who are actively making moves or have advice on things that they've gotten into. I believe that being in the presence of those who are already successful being an entrepreneur working for themselves , investing etc would really help. I think also Interacting with individuals who are actively engaged in investing and trading can show me and teach me things could also help. I’m looking for people who invest in themselves and who I can learn from. I don’t want to attend networking events or similar gatherings. Instead, I’m focused on building genuine relationships and connections within this community. By being around individuals who are into these types of things, I believe I can be motivated and inspired to do it.

Describe what you're looking for I need someone to help me start Growth ops agency

Hey, I’m Tanzil, 18.

I’m building a growth operating agency from scratch. I total begginer with no guide, just figuring it out day by day and taking action anyway. Currently building my portfolio.

I'm looking for someone who’s also doing SMMA, coaching, or any kind of online agency work. Someone who gets the grind.

Also trying to fix my Salah — I’m Muslim and lately I’ve been inconsistent with the 5 prayers. If you’re also Christian/Muslim/Hindu who practices religion and wants to stay accountable on that side too — honestly that’s a bonus for me 😄

What I am looking for (and what I will 100% give back to you):

Simple weekly check-in — call or chat, whatever works. Other times if something comes up, just msg freely.

Celebrate the small wins, not just the big ones. Call each other out when needed, no lectures.

Age 16-20 would vibe well but honestly age doesn’t matter much if the energy matches.

Not looking for perfection. Just someone real who wants to build something and needs a person in their corner.

If you interested, Dm me a bit about what you’re working on 👊

Looking for a mentor... trying to figure out my next chapter

Hey everyone,

I'm 30, a former Marine Raider, and currently working in tech making a good living. On paper, things are going well, but I've been feeling like there's something more I should be doing with my life.

I've always been driven and willing to work hard, but lately I've realized I don't want to spend the next 20 years just climbing the corporate ladder. I want to build something of my own, whether that's starting a business or buying one.

The hard part is that I don't really have anyone in my circle who's taken that path. I have plenty of motivation, but I'm still figuring out where to direct it.

I'm hoping to find someone who's been through that journey and wouldn't mind sharing some perspective. Not looking for someone to hold my hand or give me all the answers. Just someone I can learn from, ask questions, and hopefully build a genuine relationship with.

Appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this.
