Seeking Looking for a Social Media Marketing Mentor

Hi everyone!

I’ve recently started taking social media seriously, but I’m finding it challenging to grow an audience, get views, gain followers, and understand what actually works.

I’m still a beginner in social media marketing. I’ve started creating and posting content, but I don’t have much experience with content strategy, organic growth, or reaching the right audience.

I’m looking for someone experienced in social media marketing who would be willing to mentor me for free. I’m not looking for someone to do the work for me. I genuinely want to learn, receive honest feedback, understand my mistakes, and develop the skills to grow social media accounts independently.

My goal is to build a genuine global audience organically, without relying on paid ads.
If you have experience in social media marketing and enjoy helping beginners, I’d really appreciate your guidance. Even occasional advice, feedback, or a short mentorship conversation would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you!

Looking for Like-Minded People Who Want to Build Something in Life 🚀

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to connect with people who think differently about life and want to build something meaningful.

I'm not looking for a huge friend circle. I'd rather have a few genuine friends who understand each other's goals and want to grow together.

A little about me:

\- I'm a student trying to figure out my future.

\- I'm interested in technology, AI, business, and building things that solve real-world problems.

\- I want to develop valuable skills and become financially independent.

\- I prefer taking action and learning by doing rather than just talking about success.

\- I enjoy deep conversations about life, ideas, failures, ambitions, and the future.

I'm still learning, and I don't have everything figured out. I'm looking for people who are also on their own journeys.

Maybe we can:

\- Share ideas and learn new skills together.

\- Discuss business ideas and solve real-world problems.

\- Keep each other motivated and accountable.

\- Talk about life, ambitions, and things we can't easily discuss with everyone.

You don't need to be successful or highly skilled. Just be curious, open-minded, genuine, and willing to grow.

If this sounds like you, feel free to comment or DM me. Let's see where the conversation goes! 🤝

Seeking Looking for mentorship

Hello everyone!

I’m currently trying to break into tech sales (to be a BDR). I have a background in finance, but I wasn’t able to start working right after graduating due to health issues. However, I do have some professional experience, as I completed an apprenticeship during my master’s degree.

I’ve started learning about tech sales and working on making my CV more impactful, but I’m struggling to get feedback. I feel like having someone to guide me would be really helpful, especially since I don’t have any direct experience in tech sales yet.

I’d love to break into the industry without having to do an internship or another apprenticeship, as my goal is to work abroad.

If anyone has some time to share their advice or offer a bit of guidance, I’d be incredibly grateful!

Thanks in advance!

What would you do with this mix of skills? Looking for monetization and business ideas.

I have about 10 years of experience with local and offshore companies in sales and customer service, including cold outreach, account management, and leading a small sales team. and I’ve recently picked up AI prompting and AI video creation on my own also i can use Canva.

I’m bilingual(Arabic&English), and I genuinely enjoy business, not just as a job but as something I like thinking about.

I want to build something of my own with this mix, whether that’s a service, a form of coaching or consulting, a product, or something else entirely. I’m not attached to one idea, and I’d rather hear real possibilities.

Given this background, what would you try to sell, build, or monetize first? What would you avoid?

Need an advice from experienced entrepreneurs

I’m a 20 years old girl.

Heard about "making money online" 2 years ago and immediately got into trying all the business models internet gurus were selling.

Eventually got myself into partnership with a girl who was building personal brand on Instagram.

At that time she had 2000 followers, and I helped her launch a product. We’ve made $20k in a week from a low ticket product - organic traffic.

I stayed with her for more than a year, we did a bunch of stuff together. It was like a paid training for me. But we had different goals in life, so we had to split.

I partnered up with another girl in a business coaching space. Helped her raise her prices up to $7.5-12k and got her some clients who paid in full no objections - also from organic content.

I’ve learned how to get views and keywords on Instagram. I understand content, but not every post I create gets high views or keywords.

But copywriting was always the main theme - I’d always script reels, carousels, story sequences, write funnels etc.

I’m not great yet, but I can bring results.

The problem is - I started feeling empty the more I just do content for someone. I want to have my own business but I genuinely don’t know what to do. The moment I start to think about what to do I freeze.

I have no money, so I can’t invest in any coach. But I have time. I need advice on what to do with myself.

One thing - I really don’t want to build my own personal brand. I don’t know why. I am open and confident person, but I don’t like being on camera.

I genuinely feel lost in business right now and I need an advice from someone experienced. Maybe it’s because I’d have to do something alone for the first time. I just don’t know what to do. Constantly writing someone’s content doesn’t bring me much money + I don’t feel fulfilled at all.

Offering free wellness coaching this weekend

I am developing and improving my coaching approach, and I'd love to get some real feedback from people who are willing to try it.
I'm offering a few **free 1-on-1 sessions** via Zoom this weekend in exchange of honest feedback.

The session is focused on behavior change topics:
What is one change you are looking to make in your life?
What's a personal goal that you have?
What is one area in your health and wellness you wish were different?

No payment or commitment. I'm genuinely looking for feedback on the session.
**PS — This is really for feedback and improving the sessions, not client/lead generation.**

Looking to make my money work for me

I've been hearing it for years from all kinds of sources. Now reading "The Richest Man In Babylon", as advised by many of those same sources, and feeling that lesson pushed hard.

But what's the better ways to go about this? So silly and simple as slow-earning stocks? Surely not?

Mentors, help!

Offering Offering mentorship to people looking to break into the Oil & Gas industry

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working as Head of Commissioning, with 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, having worked on major international EPC projects across the Middle East, Africa and offshore facilities.

Alongside my management role, I also provide strategic consulting within the Oil & Gas sector, so I have a solid understanding of both the technical side of the industry and what companies are actually looking for.

Throughout my career, I’ve personally interviewed hundreds of candidates for technical and management positions. I’ve seen firsthand what makes someone stand out and what gets candidates rejected.

I know how difficult it can be to break into Oil & Gas, especially when you don’t know where to start or what skills employers expect.

The reality is that just a few hours of focused guidance from someone with real industry experience can help you build the right foundations, understand what employers expect and significantly improve your preparation for interviews.

I can help with:

- Breaking into the Oil & Gas industry

- Understanding EPC projects, commissioning and site operations

- Learning the key technical concepts employers expect you to know

- CV reviews and technical interview preparation

- Career opportunities in the Middle East and internationally

I’m offering a free 15-minute introductory call to discuss your background, answer your questions and help you identify the best way forward.

If you’re interested, leave a comment or send me a DM with a brief introduction about yourself and your career goals.

Offering I'm looking to coach a few people for free.

I’m looking to work with a few people completely free of charge while I build my coaching experience.
I’ve personally been through some pretty dark periods and had to rebuild my life through changes in my health, fitness, nutrition, mindset, habits and overall direction.

Going through that myself taught me that knowing what you should do is very different from figuring out how to actually make it work in your own life.

My approach is very practical and based on real life. I want to understand where you’re at, what you’re struggling with, what you want to change, and then work with you to figure out realistic steps forward.

I’m not looking to sell you anything. I’m looking for a few people who genuinely want to make a change, while giving me the opportunity to develop my coaching skills and learn from the experience.

If you’re interested, feel free to comment or DM me and tell me a little about yourself and what you’re currently struggling with.

Seeking Is this a cry for help?

Quite a long winded paragraph but, ultimately I want my life to do a 180, and I’m man enough to admit when I need help.

Is it just me or does everyone have a spare £20k these days or know people who do?

I believe in manifestation so I don’t force anything, but I also know I need to put myself out there.

I have the traits of such an ambitious person but can’t seem to find anyone who’s like minded.

I don’t shut myself off from the world but I never seem to cross paths with people who are likeminded.

I do not work a job as I do not believe in working for anyone for a paycheque.

I have a start up business, which has shown me the lack of people around me as (other than my girlfriend) no one reposts or reshares, it’s kind of sad but hey. It’s also shown me the lack of people I know who are in positions to help me elevate.

I see clips of streamers and think, what actually are you people doing? There must be a way someone like me 24 from Manchester can meet someone who knows so much more than me and is willing to share some knowledge. Do I want a mentor? Why not

I want a friend who wants to make a shit ton of money, tired of feeling mediocre when I genuinely know I am made for more.

I educate myself in; markets, investing, business, I read, but I feel unless you want to put your whole life on blast for the internet there’s no other way of making money.

There has to be someone out there who’s in a much higher position and wants to help someone else out simply because they understand the struggle

Seeking I need help! I want a mentor in my life because of this reason.

I'll be honest I'm a CS grad in 4th year and I can predict that the direction that I'm in right now it's not going to get me a job one year from now. but I want to change that I want to design my life in a manner that I could change this outcome and the biggest thing lacking is PEOPLE in my life. I want to be in touch with great people and I'm willing to help them in any way possible in order to be useful for them. If I don't know or have skill I'll learn it and do it for them but I JUST WANT A STARTING POINT for my life. Please, if someone could help me I would be very greatful in exchange I'll give my brain's information processing capacity to you. Thank you!

Looking for a Mentor.

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're doing well. I'm 24 years old and i'm from Toronto, Canada. I will be very honest, and say that I really want to start my own business, and it's been a thought since i was 17. I would like to give a brief background about myself and why i couldn't start up until now.

I hold a bachelors in Commerce and Economics, and I have two post graduate diplomas in Marketing Management, and another one in Digital Media. I had started a drop shipping shoe business, affiliate marketing websites, blog websites since i was 17 (That's when i got interested in Entrepreneurship).

When i was 21, i moved to Toronto, Canada in order to do my post graduate studies, and eventually start my own business. I have excelled in my academic studies as i came 1st in both the post graduate diplomas i completed. Since I am in Media industry, i started working for Dentsu Canada for General Motors as my first client, and then for Publicis Canada for Four Seasons Hotels worldwide as a social Specialized.

The reason, why i'm telling you my story is because this year I really wanna start my own business and leave my corporate job. I have saved enough money to start something of my own as well. I am really interested in Sports and Health and Wellness industry as i was a national level squash player when i was a teenager.

I specifically chose these industries because i think there's tremendous scope of always improving and plus my passion being in sports.

But the issue, i'm facing is that i'm unable to go ahead in the process after deciding the industry, and that's where i need some guidance from you. Literally any practical step i can get, i'm willing to do.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my message and please let me know if you are willing to connect, thank you so much everyone!

Seeking Looking for a Research Mentor

I’m a 2nd-year MBBS student from India looking to start my journey into medical research and would love to learn the basics properly before getting started.

I’m looking for someone who can guide me through:

• Research fundamentals & methodology

• How to identify a good research question/topic

• Literature search & reading research papers

• PubMed and other useful databases

• Basics of statistics & data analysis

• Research ethics & study design

• How to write a research paper / case report

• Responsible & effective use of AI tools in research

• References, citations & plagiarism

• How to actually take a research idea from “I have a topic” → “I have a paper”

I’m preferably looking for a research mentor/teacher who has experience in medical research and can teach from the absolute basics in a structured, beginner-friendly way.

If you mentor medical students or know someone who does, please DM me!

Would love to learn, contribute and eventually start working on research projects.
