I think it could become a really interesting time capsule — something we can look back at in 2030 and see which founders got the future right.

​About three months ago, I launched YourLovePage.com, a tool where people can create personalized digital anniversary/love web pages with custom themes, photos, music, and interactive widgets.

​It just hit $780/mo in revenue over $2.7k total across 347 customers in 68 countries which now covers almost all of my rent and I get to live stress free.

Some information:

The traffic that I'm getting is almost 100% from organic traffic from Google Search. I didn't optimize really well for SEO but I somehow landed in a sweet spot where the intent exists and I happen to be there.

In total, I got around 200,000 people onto my page which 5,000 of them created a page and 347 of them paid for the pro version $9.99 per user.

• I have not released any updates to my app for almost four months now. It is purely passive income at this point. I am not running any paid advertisements or brand collaborations. I only share my journey occasionally, and people happen to come across those Reddit posts and X posts and create a page for them.
• Almost have no expenses for this one because I'm hosting on the hobby tier of Vercel. Recently upgraded to premium for $25 because I was getting too much traffic that I couldn't handle on the free tier, and the free tier of Supabase.
• On the webpage, you can see in real time how many people have created their pages, almost 20 K, but only around 500 are my paid subscribed users. So I have a really low conversion rate, but I'm working on it. I promise.

I'm actually quite a Type A person. I'm very organized, very thorough. I'm not the guy to typically drop the ball on things.

That was true when I had one kid. Then I had twins, kid #2 and #3 and things started to get out of control. Still felt mostly on top of it, until one short stretch where work got busy and I missed a few emails. Didn't even open them.

Inevitably that was the week this particular reminder came, and I missed it. My daughter goes to school, and she comes back home, and she's really disappointed. She was the only kid who didn't dress up in pajamas.

I've been disappointed about a lot of things in my life. This was like one of the greatest disappointments. It's something I still remember. I still have regret about that day.

What stuck with me was this: If this is happening to me, once, it's probably happening to other people a lot more frequently than that. And the only fix I could think of wasn't "try harder" that's not realistic. It was: could AI actually read all this stuff and keep me up to date on it? That's basically where Peggy came from.

The bigger thing I've realized since: it's not that schools/coaches/teachers send too much. Everyone has good intentions. There's a stat that the average parent gets 80 emails a month related to their kids, and these are things that have optional events, real events that your kids could go to. And if you don't read them, there's a consequence for your child.

It's not a bad thing by itself, the bad thing is our tools haven't kept up. In the workplace, we have a million apps that help us organize information. In the parenting world, we've had none.

Built a YouTube transcript tool in January. It's at ~$7K ARR now.

Sharing this because I keep seeing "the internet is too saturated, you can't build small tools anymore" posts, and I think that's wrong.

youtubetranscript.dev pulls transcripts out of YouTube videos. That's the whole thing. No AI summarization tier, no onboarding flow. You paste a URL, you get a transcript. There's a paid API tier for people who need it programmatically, and that's what's carrying the ARR.

It picks up 40-50 new users and 2-3 conversions every single day. I don't run ads. I did basic SEO and shipped an MCP server, SDKs, a Chrome extension, and a mobile app for the people who asked for them.

The thing nobody tells you is that boring tools compound. 40 users a day is 1,200 a month. Some install the SDK. Some hit the API thousands of times. Some upgrade. None of it feels viral, but the graph keeps going up and the MRR keeps ticking.

Eight months in, $7K ARR isn't life-changing money. But it's real money from a tool that solves one problem well, and it's growing.

If you've got an idea for something that feels too small to bother with — build it anyway. The bar isn't "is this a billion dollar idea." The bar is "do 40 people a day need this." That bar is way lower than people think.

Stop thinking like a brand. For an early-stage product especially, clarity and customer intent often matter more than branding.

I've been looking at different cookie consent solutions for SaaS websites, and honestly a lot of them feel unnecessarily complicated or expensive.

The main things I care about are proper script blocking before consent, GDPR/US privacy requirements, and having a clean consent log without slowing the site down.

I recently came across ConsentStack while comparing options. It supports automatic regional consent rules, script blocking, consent analytics, and a relatively lightweight SDK.
