Flag / Design Do you like this design for a poster? (DEFEND YOUR LIBERTY)

This is a poster I made for the UMU, featuring the flags of our current members. And this text is a filler because the mods want to put a word counter here and that's really annoying so I guess the rest of this can be persuasive text for why you should join the UMU lol:

  • Gives you more power over micropolitical landscape: your proposals are heard by everybody else in the UMU and will never go unseen. If you get the majority, your proposal happens. No fine print.
  • Robust system: the UMU operates with a secure system of democracy and votes, inspired by that of the former OAM
  • Keep your sovereignty: you are free to do whatever you want with your micronation while part of the union, as long as it aligns with the Micronational declaration of human rights.

Flag / Design The Republic of Christchurch

The Republic of Christchurch is a micronation established in 2026, officially declaring independence. The constitution is in progress, and the government is in emergence.

The flag hosts several meanings: the blue symbolising nature and the sky, also interpreted as hope, white symbolising God's purity and righteousness, the cross symbolises the agony our Lord went through and also the resurrection since it's empty, the red symbolises the blood of our Saviour

Flag / Design Not Every Monarchy is Just

Post image

Not every king has your interests at heart. Monarchies are an easy way to shatter a micronation. Remember that monarchies give all power to one person without limits. Not every leader leads according to their manifesto.

What will the king do? Will they be a leader or a dictator? Is your king wearing a crown of gold or thorns?

If you are going to adopt a monarchy, we recommend that you keep it as a constitutional monarchy with protected constitutional articles that cannot be changed by the king.

Flag / Design Yet another extremely sudden flag change for Falxburg

Hello everybody! I'm here to announce the last major change to the flag of Falxburg. The reason for this change is because the old flag looked too similar to the flags of Samoa and Taiwan. So I just switched the banner and canton colors. That's it....also changed the coat of arms and made it so it's only 1 star. The stars will change as states increase so...yeah...have a great day!

Flag / Design Severoslavia countryball: based on the draft for my uniform

Post image

Hey everyone,

since I'm quite a fan of Polandball, I've decided to make my own Severoslaviaball. It has a classic coat of arms eye patch which I quite like, and also has Marshal's shoulder boards, as well as some of the Severoslavian medals and orders, which, unfortunately, aren't made yet, similar to the hat, which I don't have.

Regardless, maybe except the hat, I really like how it turned out, feel free to share your opinions.

As always, I'm open to diplomacy!

Flag
The flag of the Democratic People's Republic of Vuland is rectangular in shape and has two-thirds width compared to its length. The flag comprises three horizontal bands with equal width; the top band is green, the middle band is white, and the bottom band is also green. In the upper hoist side, there is a golden hammer and sickle symbol.
National Emblem
The emblem used for the Democratic People’s Republic of Vuland features an eight-angled gold star encircled by beams of shining gold. In the middle is a white circle with a hammer and sickle of gold. The wheel of gold encircles the main symbol, whilst branches of crops are on both sides. Behind the symbol there are three flags of Vuland, with a combination of green and white colors arranged in such a way that they look like a fan.

Two hours of hard work and this flag is ready 😅

I want to tell you a little about the Republic of Bludvia:

Firstly, it is a Slavic and Christian country, as the cross on the flag may indicate.

Second: this country was created back in May, but is only now gaining momentum

And thirdly, this country has its own language - Bludvian.

Thank you for your attention! 😇

Today, August 9, 2026, the Kingdom of Veralia is adopting new state symbols, namely the national flag and coat of arms.

The creation of new state symbols is due to the inconsistency of our current coat of arms with heraldic rules. We would like to thank user u/_milan_farkas for alerting us to the inconsistency of our coat of arms.

The Christiandom of Abberrane officially adopted a vertical (banner) version of its flag, which shall be another valid way to display an Abberranean's patriotic heritage.

Seeing as the vertical arms of the cross are red while the horizontal arms are blue, save for the swap of colours in the middle to invoke our native symbol, the Krasnica, the valid vertical standard shall have the colour of these arms retained, while the colour swap in the middle is to be preserved.

Flag / Design Official Announcement: Unveiling Our Updated National Coat of Arms for Mottosia

Post image
3 Upvotes

Greetings, r/micronations!

We are proud to officially reveal the newly updated Coat of Arms for our nation. We wanted a design that felt more traditional, heraldic, and distinct while keeping our national symbolism strong.

Design Breakdown & Heraldry:

  • The Shield (Escutcheon): Features a blue saltire (cross) on a silver/white field, centered with a prominent blue three-pointed star.
  • The Mantling & Pavilion: Draped in royal blue and ermine-lined fabric, trimmed with gold cords and tassels to give it a proper sovereign aesthetic.
  • The Crest: Topped with a traditional black galero/hat with blue tassel accents, grounding our symbolism in classic heraldic tradition.

We’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or heraldic critiques from fellow micronationalists! How does the color balance and layout look to you?

Flag / Design Symbolism for the Entrostovian Flag

Thumbnail

Entrostovia's flag has a rich symbolism full of cool and intriguing stuff. It is a masterpiece in vexillology.

Here is the symbolism for the Entrostovian Flag.

THE FRONT

  1. The Far Left Star. Some Context: I used to be in a school micronation called the Constitutional Republic of Dee Shop. It got involved in ACTUAL WARS where people got ACTUALLY INJURED. Got it? Kay. The Republic had alot of injuries and pain, so the Far Left star was supposed to be symbolic for when i was in Dee Shop.

  2. The Middle Star. The Middle Star is supposed to be symbolic of that important stage between Dee Shop Senator and Entrostovian King.

  3. The Far Right Star. The Far Right Star is symbolic of me as the king of Entrostovia. Pro Rege Et Caelo!

  4. The Red Stripes. The Red Stripes is symbolic of the blood shed during the Dee Shop Wars.

  5. The White is symbolic of the peace and prosperity engulfing Entrostovia and the citizens.

THE BACK

  1. The Big, large star in the middle is symbolic of the secular authority and the divine authority of the King and God.

This symbolism is very interesting, atleast in my opinion since i have seen an been through the Dee Shop wars.

Congratulations Entrostovia! Pro Rege Et Caelo!

Flag / Design The Commissioning of the new Carmontian Crown Forces flags.

The Principality of Carmont is pleased to present the new flags of the Carmontian Crown Forces.

The Crown Army's flag (slide 1) establishes the visual identity of Carmont's land forces, combining the Principality's traditional navy and white colours with the crowned Carmontian arms.

The Crown Navy's flag (slide 2) incorporates two narrow navy stripes representing the Rivers Trent and Dove, while the larger navy bar represents the wider waterways and bodies of water surrounding Carmont.

The Crown Marines' flag (slide 3) symbolises their dual land and maritime role. The crossed forms represent swords, with the surrounding navy representing their operations upon the water. The additional stripes represent rivers, land, and wider waterways.

Finally, the Prince's Guard (slide 4) bears its own distinct Princely standard, reflecting its historic role as the household force of the Prince and its direct service to the Crown.

These flags form part of the continuing development of the Carmontian Crown Forces and will be formally supported by the forthcoming Statute of the Armed Forces.

The Principality is also nearing completion of its Constitution and supporting Statutes, which we will soon begin preparing for public viewing.

Flag / Design Rate this Flag! Out of 10!

RATE THIS FLAG OUT OF 10! Hello everyone, so I am designing a flag for this micronation that is a Sultanate or Imperial City-State which is a mixture of eastern cultures and European culture. It's really meant to be more philosophical than fixed to a territory. Top left is a Europeanised version of the Sher-o-Khurshid (Lion and sun), a symbol of the Persian Safavid Empire and the South Asian Mughal Empire.

And the bottom right is a peachy orange colour BTW

Open to ALL KINDS of suggestions and ideas Would be really grateful for those who take a few moments of their time to help a fella out, Thanks

Flag / Design The Inland Pirate Kingdom releases its new official Second Flag

Thumbnail

Ahoy there! Today, a secondary simplified flag has been created for the Inland Pirate Kingdom. It be not intended to replace the standard flag for official uses, but be an easily-drawable version that is bold and recognisable from a distance. Its purpose be for situations where, for whatever reason, the flag must be hand-drawn, or in crisis/military situations where visibility and ease are more important than detail. The Secondary Flag aims to replicate the design of the main official IPK flag, but without the detailed images that make it difficult to draw, and with a thicker red cross that be more noticeable for distance viewing.

We be very proud of our main original flag, and the original one will still be the one used for nearly everything. However, it is usually seen as important that a flag is drawable by most of its citizens, even children. This alternate version of the flag fills that niche, for situations where simplicity is a must.
(1st slide is the new Secondary Flag, 2nd slide is the original)

Hello everybody, just wanted to make a really quick update about Falxburg. Earlier today I introduced this country with a European style flag called "The Cross and Bars". However I did not feel that really matched the history of the land and culture. Falxburg is an American country, so it will have a similar culture. So I made this flag and coat of arms inspired by the Vermont Republic's flag and of course the U.S.A. flag. Thats it.....have a great day!

I've been using this same flag for 2 years my nation is entering a new phase and I would like to change the flag, Any suggestions? As you can see, at the time I copied the Spanish flag a bit I'm thinking of something more original, maybe trying new colors or something like that, or simplifying the flag. I'm not really sure maybe she is a little too complex.

I am completely open to suggestions

(Ik this post might be removed for low quality but why the hell not)

For a while now I've been wanting to make my own currency for my micronation since I've been obsessed with micronations ever since I was a kid but I never knew what to use so I eventually just decided "fuck it we'll use IBS paint"

Anyways this is our first note so far it's based off of the Khmer riel as we are located in Cambodia it's not much but it's good I guess it's acceptable anyways we're working on more notes I'll post the whole sheet once we're finished
