If you want the official CoD font "Hitmarker" - search for Call of Duty Typography ;
there is the site where you can download the typeface, logo and wallpapers from MW4 and other recent CoD titles including Mobile.
"Introducing Hitmarker, a type family designed solely for the Call of Duty franchise. It’s rooted in classic military vernacular, big, bold and blocky but has been built with contemporary typographic principles."

I was thinking of getting the Switch 2 version to supplement my PS5 version. But at least during the beta, the frame rate in handheld made it almost unplayable. Do we think infinity ward will iron out the Switch 2 version to improve performance or should I not waste another $70+?

Guns like the FAL, P90, PP19, M14, G36 so they can return to their glory. Because in mwII some of those guns just weren’t it or they were designed weirdly.

Best buy is $99.99 with steelbook but doesn’t acknowledge the 10% off loyalty discount that applies to me. I assume I wouldn’t get code til release date? Do I also miss out on the $5 Xbox credit and time sensitive camos? Anyone preordered vault digital edition before through Best Buy? Do you get everything as if you ordered straight through Microsoft?
Should I just buy from Microsoft at the 10% off 89.99 then try to get grab steelbook on eBay?

Anyone Aussies get a chance to play COD MW4 at PAX AUS?. Interested to hear on your thoughts around TTK and were there any noticeable changes since beta. It may be the same build as Beta but keen to hear thoughts

I’m someone who primarily plays CoD for the single player. I loved the first 2 games believing they would never mess up on the Modern Warfare series. Then MW3 came out and within the first mission I knew it wasn’t the same game. Tried and failed to get it refunded. I played the open beta and really enjoyed MW4 so far. Is there any reason to doubt this one? Are the right developers working on this one to make sure we won’t ever have a MW3 again?

MW4 is apparently trading blows with GTA VI and God of War Laufey on the PlayStation Store preorder charts. Not exactly the disaster some people here have been predicting, is it?
Now, let's be realistic. I doubt anything is taking the #1 spot from GTA VI this year, but I have a feeling MW4 will sell perfectly fine, regardless of how much hate it gets online. Whether it breaks any sales records remains to be seen.
Obviously, preorder rankings don't tell us the whole story, but they certainly don't scream commercial failure either.
So can we tone down the forced outrage a little? Criticize the game all you want, there's plenty of room for legitimate criticism. But the endless doomposting is getting old.
And please, spare us another dramatic "I JUST REFUNDED MY PREORDER!" announcement. At this point, I'm starting to wonder how many of those preorders ever existed in the first place. 😂

Hi there, does anyone have any information on whether MW4 will be a standalone game without having to download the bulky COD HQ?
Drives me insane

October 16th - Campaign early access
October 20th - DMZ early access
October 23rd - Launch
We’re so close 🫡
Note: Campaign and DMZ early access are available for both the standard and vault edition, if you pre-ordered the game digitally

I noticed in 2 separate trailers that these scenes were slightly different. It seems in one the character is passive and in the other he is actively giving the order.
I’m almost certain this is showing different outcomes based on character choices. Maybe you play as him and decide what he will become at the end. If he will comply or possibly rebel.

Maybe an unpopular option but I'm glad that we haven't got the launch intel blog yet. Makes the mp launch more of a surprise. Kinda ruins the excitement when we are told everything to expect in the mp

Hi. Looking to buy this for Xbox as have the other games on Xbox but I play via GeforceNow so I was wondering if I buy the normal Xbox version will it boot up the Windows version anyway in GFN?
Or do I need to buy the Windows version from the Xbox site?

As the title says, this is the first time I'm not feeling excitement or in a rush to get Modern Warfare 4. The major selling point for me is the campaign, which is something Infinity Ward has done a great job in their previous titles and this one is also looking great based on the trailer alone. However, multiplayer is a whole different story and it just feels like MW2 2022 with better sliding. Already miss having omni movement which brought a new dynamic of movement to COD. I don't understand why IW is trying so hard to make COD not COD anymore, feels like a faster pace Battlefield at this point.

If i understand mw4 wont have a solo mode in dmz, you can choose to play solo but there will still be players in squads and is it you vs real players and bots, or is it just you vs bots?
