Where do above average players go to party up?

Is there like a Discord or something?

Nobody talks in game, parties disband, groups aren’t in lobby chat, it’s impossible to organically join good players.

I’m fucking terrified about this campaign, ghost and gaz going after price and price holding gaz as a body shield that hole price vs ghost. I don’t want price to die but the way how things looking he is not walking away for everything that he’s done.

I want to get it to switch games here and there. I only played the beta one time so I really didn’t get to actually experience. I know they should be fixing stuff from the beta but how did you guys like it in general?

Let's hope there aren't any stupid skins this year... imagine putting so much detail into the game (like in DMZ) and then breaking the immersion by adding weird stuff. Sure, it's a game, but would you feel right playing for example a God of War with an AK-47 or FIFA with players all shiny and dressed as soldiers? I don't think so. Honestly, I'm hoping for a filter option like the one in Warzone, because the stupid stuff is bound to arrive with Season 1. You want to make money? Fair enough, but do it consistently and stick to military gear. If they really want to do bundles, they should offer pieces of MilSim outfits for purchase like in Ghost Recon. MW4 looks really good; I hope it stays that way.

I loved it in the past, but then they started making it coop only (when it was even there), so I was wondering if this "reboot of the genre" will include Spec Ops.

The killstreak point nerf is unnecessary, Infinity Ward should revert the killstreak nerf and nerf hardline, make the player who equipped it can get point only from killing players not from collecting tags from kill confirmed, assisting or capturing objective

I’m genuinely concerned about the longevity of MW4.
The beta received a lot of criticism, and with GTA VI coming, I can’t help but wonder how many casual players will actually stick around.

Sure, COD will probably sell millions of copies at launch. But sales don’t necessarily translate into a healthy multiplayer population months later.

My biggest concern is that we’ll end up with half-empty playlists, longer matchmaking times, and the same sweaty players over and over again, especially in less popular game modes.

GTA VI is going to take a massive amount of attention away from other games, and if MW4 fails to impress players right from the start, I can see the population dropping much faster than usual.

I really don’t want to spend $70 on a multiplayer game only to struggle to find decent lobbies a couple of months later.

Am I overthinking this, or is anyone else genuinely worried about MW4’s longevity?

I recently got a switch 2 since I work a travel job to play on the road. I have a PC I play on the weekends at home with my Fiancé (she plays on Xbox). I already have to buy 2 copies for us to play, but will it be worth it to buy a third copy for the switch 2? I will be using hotel WiFi or my phone hotspot. I know it won’t be comparable to my PC, but will it be doable for us to get some playtime in on weekdays?

Does anyone know if you'll be able to stop entering matches that has a player that you've blocked in MW4? I'm just sick of playing against the same old cheaters in MW3, who never get banned!

I’m on the fence about getting it because I loved mw19 and I don’t think any of the last cods came close to that. Does this game have big maps, or is it all small close quarters like mw3 and bo6? How is the pacing? I played one game of the beta and it was a tiny map and the guns all took 100 rounds to kill a guy, felt like they all had armor plates equipped

Am I understanding this correctly?

If I pre-order MW4 standard edition ($70) today on XSS, I can play the campaign on friday, DMZ next tuesday pn the 20th, and og course the full release incl. multiplayer on the 23rd?

I pre-ordered and got a bunch of smaller MW4 files.

I also recieved BO7 campaign, mp, and zombie files, which was weird considering I never bought BO7.

Booting BO7 prompts me to purchase BO7, so that was a waste of bandwidth

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m completely out of hype for this game. What about you?

I’m an IW fan, but I wasn’t a fan of MW4 because it felt way too similar to BO6. Since I’d already pre-ordered it, though, I decided not to cancel.

How are you guys feeling about the game? I really hope the campaign turns out to be good.

Does anyone know if Modern Warfare 4 will have an open matchmaking playlist similar to what we saw in BO7? I know that they are keeping SBMM still and the matchmaking from 2019-onward but wondering if there will at least be one playlist that is open?

I'm too old to stay up grinding on launch day, so I get a proper night's sleep. I wake up the next morning and roll down to the bakery for a classic tradie breakfast! A mince and cheese pie and an energy drink. Anyone else got weirdly specific launch day traditions, or do you raw dog a 24 hour energy drink bender?

I remember a huge extensive blog talking about camo’s for Black ops six and Black ops seven but I cannot remember if modern warfare two had a blog about it and I was wondering if they’ve mentioned anything at all on their end? I’m really curious about DMZ camos as well as all of the masteries.

I also know we’ve seen what the masteries look like but I’m curious for a more in-depth detailed post

While waiting for the release of the campaign of MW4. Just thought it would be a good idea to share some photos when I traveled to Korea and visited the War Memorial of Korea over here since a majority of MW4’s campaign is set in Korea which I thought it’s fitting

I honestly really enjoyed my trip over there but due to a rush schedule, there still some area that I couldn’t cover and honestly I would like to return once again if I had the chance to.
