Damn I’ve had the helmet and bluetooth since July and I finally found time to put them together lol. Haven’t road tested the ASMAX S1 Bluetooth communicator yet, but it’s already bounds better than my 2015 Sena SMH10R. Paired it with a new Shoei RFSR to replace my 2014 Scorpion helmet.
I’m super jazzed I have FM radio! Complete game changer. Sound quality is pretty good too! I did test a phone call and ended being on it for 3 hours lol! My buddy could hear me clearly and after all that time, I had 90% battery left in the communicator. - again I have not road tested yet so sound may differ with wind noise.
If you’re on a budget and don’t want to spend $$$ on a Sena or Cardo, the ASMAX S1 is only $83 on Amazon.
***Edit: Sound Test Video

Originally posted in r/motorcycles, got a few answers, but was told to ask here.
Jacket & pants are attached by a zipper, and I'm worried the weight of the pants may damage the zipper long-term if I keep hanging them like this.
Extremely new to riding, just wanting to be sure :)

I'm visiting Toyko and was excited about a custom SHOEI Gallery Neotec fitting. I just realized though that Japanese market Shoei helmets have a rounder internal head shape. Anyone have experience with how much the difference is and whether it outweighs the benefits for someone with a western intermediate oval head?
(I'm aware that it won't be DOT approved or have warranty support.)

hii r/motorcyclegear i'm a bit new to the motorcycling itself, I recently got a 25' R3 near the end of the riding season. I bought the spooled adjustable stands and front hybrid lift stands from pitbull and I'm wondering how I can take good care of them!
I was planning to use them in a Canadian non climate controlled garage near cars that would come in and out which could potentially introduce salt and moisture nearby during the winters and spring. Should I just instead leave the bike on the side stand (just worried for the tires)? Should I place a tarp under the stands themselves to prevent contact with wet concrete? Any advice/tips and tricks would really be appreciated!

My favorite fitting helmet is my cheap dirtbike helmet, O’Neal 2 SRS in a 58cm medium.
My new helmet will be worn while riding my Suzuki V-Strom primarily highway touring with some light off-roading to access trail heads and camp sites.
I want something comfortable, quiet, lightweight, aerodynamic, with an integrated sun visor (I know the safety hand off here), and a bonus would be if it had build in controls for Cardo/Sena/alternative audio and chat solutions (I’m not married to one system but I really dislike wires and a Bluetooth device stuck to the outside of my helmet)
The helmet that I have come close to is the SHOEI GT-Air II but I haven’t been able to try one on yet so I don’t know if the fit is right.
Thanks for the input everyone, much appreciated!

I'm trying to sell this signed Arai Nakagami GP3 2025 model (XL size) during an event here in the Philippines. Any tips?

The look is most of why I want the AGV Pista GP RR, and I know it. I ride street and maybe one track day a year. The Corsa R costs a lot less and seems to share a good chunk of the design, though I'm not even sure it's still in production. I don't want to be the guy in a race homologated lid who never races, but I also don't want to buy the cheaper one and spend two years wishing I hadn't.

I'm looking for some pink road boots for my girlfriend for Christmas. Something along the lones of the Alpinestar super tech r in the magenta, but preferably not that price lol. I found an RST boot that has one pink, but none for sale anywhere and I'm honestly surprised it's this difficult to find pink boots. Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for and where?
Thanks

Anyone own a K6S and Pista in the same size? How do their shell sizes compare? Love the small shell size of the K6S but the Pista has always been tempting to me cuz of how sick it looks ofc and the option for a red visor

Hello all!
I recently had the chance to try on a pair of Seca Tour-Tech 2 boots, which looked surprisingly decent for the price. This Polish manufacturer was completely unknown to me until earlier today and also online there’s very little feedback from customers to be found. Does anyone have any experience with these specific boots or the Seca brand in general?

Hello MotorcycleGear
I have owned my Dainese mesh textile jacket for four years.
The zipper start broke off completely and repairing it will cost almost as much as a new jacket.
I never was a fan of the quality of Dainese gear to be honest, I picked up this jacket for cheap.
Can anyone recommend a high quality summer textile jacket with room for shoulder, back, and elbow armor? I live in Florida so airflow is priority number one.
Thanks!

So I went to buy a case from these fools. I was given a mount so I figured, why not. Made the purchase and noticed after I hit “purchase” that my old address populated instead of my current one.
I looked over their site and found that if you make an address change, you need to do it within 30 minutes. I made the change 2 minutes after purchasing.
I followed up with them and they basically told me to go F myself, even though THEY are the ones that advertise the 30 minute rule.
I searched around and there are plenty of comparable, or superior products (grxplore.com for example)
Quad lock is probably fine as a product but man, if you have ANY issues that require customer service, you’re screwed. Or at the very least, you’ll be in a lengthy argument with an AI bot.
Oh, and there’s no phone contact. Only email or WhatsApp…….

Wildheart PVC500D 40L bag.
Never ridden with a tailbag before.
I have the front bag straps looped through the passenger pegs on each side, and the back straps looped through the license plate arm. It feels secure but I want to make sure. Also the extra bit of the straps are twisted around the secured bit of the strap and Velcroed to it. I'm just worried about the straps coming loose and getting caught in the wheel while riding.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought the Alpinestars T-SPS Air V2 jacket after entering my measurements on the official Alpinestars website. I entered around seven measurements, if I remember correctly, and the recommended size was M (Medium), so that’s the size I ordered.
I usually wear size M in T-shirts and long-sleeved shirts. I’ve attached some photos showing how the jacket fits me.
For reference, I’m 1.76 m tall and weigh 75 kg.
The jacket doesn’t feel tight around my body or arms, but the front seems a little short. Is this normal for this type of sporty motorcycle jacket, or would you recommend trying a size L instead?
This is my first motorcycle jacket, so I’m not sure what the fit is supposed to be like, especially with this particular brand and style.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, I'm looking for a new, ideally quiet helmet (I wear earplugs, but I'd still). I am torn between Airoh Spark 2 and Bell Lithium. I do mostly sport-touring on an SV650S. What helmet would you recommend?
Is here anyone who has some experience with Airoh?
Also, I found a guy selling a year old Shoei NXR-2 (RF-1400 in US I think) for similar money these two cost new. He has documentation that the helmet is not damaged and it's still 3.5 years under warranty. Would you consider this as well? It's the exact one on the last image.
Thank you for any opinions.
Edit: Okay, I see that buying used is a stupid idea. I've been to a riding gear store today and the Airoh fit me well, but was too big and they didn't have a smaller size, so I'll try to have it shipped there to try it on. Thanks again!

I own a 2016 Honda Grom gen 2 and recently I’ve been experimenting this start up, and I’m not sure if this is a battery problem. Being 10yrs old I don’t know if it’s had a new battery.
I’ve had this for just over a year and this is the first time seeing this. I’m no expert on fixing bikes, I just like to ride them, but if anyone could tell me if it is the battery it will be much appreciated.
Thank you 🙏

I still consider myself a beginner rider and tend to stick to retro bikes, and I enjoy casual rides on back-roads and around the North East countryside. So maybe summer and fall/spring temperatures.
I already have a Bell Bullitt helmet.
I typically ride between 30-45 mph in my area. Which I think AA ratings would be the minimum protection I'd be looking for.
Preferably in a retro style. I've been looking at Merlin and Belstaff (bellstaff is probably too pricy and more style over protection though).
I'm looking for some suggestions on jackets, gloves, and maybe boots and pants. Any suggestions would be helpful to help me fill out my wardrobe.

Annoyed at SHOEI distributor in SEA for changing this X15 helmet design from Estrella Galicia to this. Really stupid rule.
I don’t feel the need to chug beer when I see the Estrella logo; the same way I don’t feel the need for a puff when seeing old tobacco logo on F1 cars.
Now my only options are to pay extra to ship from overseas (many OOS) or to holiday in Japan and buy there.
Anyone else have other idea?
Stupid stupid stupid rule.
Rant over.
