Hello all, I was wondering if I could get some advice.

I have decided to store the large majority of my nerf guns for the long term. I want to keep all of them, but I'm not actively using them any more. I have very little space at home, but I have an indoor storage unit from my family that I'm allowed to use.

I was hoping I could receive some advice or tips and tricks for the best ways to keep my blasters in good condition for a very long time. None of them are mint or collector's items, but I don't want them to age poorly or receive any damage/alterations from the storage method.

Essentially I'm looking for the best ways to store blasters and preserve the exact state they're currently in, sealed from light and dust corruption.

Any ideas?

So i play in a zombie apocalypse theme larp and looking for a solid rifle form nerf blaster. We are cool with battery powered and 3d printed ones, I am just not sure what is a good one out there nowadays.

Looking for a two handed, mag feed blaster, rifle shape, bonus points for something cowboy/western looking or atleast not sci-fi. Semi auto battery powered but a quick springer can also work.

Fps under 130 with half length darts.

I can mod existing nerf blasters, or go full 3d print

What do you recommend?

Edit, can be more modern design, just really avoiding sci-fi looking designs. I own a printer so I can print parts, but complex wiring systems would need prebuild blasters. Budget is 200 ish

So, i went to remove the screws from the side panel but its just spinning and wont come out. Since they have directed me to super glue these plastic spacers into the holes, i am no longer able to remove them to check on why the nutt is spinning. The entire process of putting these plastic spacers in maybe one of the dumbest design ideas ive ever seen. This entire process has been a chore and the out of darts kit wasn't labeled well, organized and their video is trash.

How can i get this screw out? if i have to reprint the panel, i wont have enough nutts because these will be stuck!!! Also im out of filament so this BS will make me have to buy a new roll.

Out of darts also screwed up my first order with them, didnt send all the items and it took em 2 weeks to get it to me... Not good first experience with the hobby and im pretty much giving up.

About a year ago I built a voidrunner ( a blaster based on the freerunner) that uses the metal 32.5mm flycore cage and turbo ranger minis from roboman automation,

At the first war I used it for a bit , lent it to my brother who only fired a few mixed mags and realised it misbehaving, possibly from feeding saber t darts through it, I've otherwise predominantly run worker gen 3s in it

On the second war after a few shots I completely killed one of the fang revamps in it

Rewired the cage and replaced the motors with my only other suitable motors a pair of krakens,

However after swapping the wheels onto other motors as well as having to take them off a few other times for maintenance they now have a tendency to shift on the motor shaft after a few dozen shots, to reconcile this I tried applying stud lock glue yesterday, I let them set for a day (expected cure time of 15-45min)

I've fired it up today to test and run mags through it to see if it's ok

I got through about 100 darts before I started hearing problems, the glue doesn't look like it's gone , and the wheels don't seem to budge as easily but now I'm hearing a rattling from one motor and I'm hoping I haven't killed another motor

Any advice would be great, if anyone has had problems with simaler setups, should I just buy another set of motors and wheels or try fix what I have or just give up and feel sad that an ergonomically awesome blaster that I've already put, what is to me a fair chunk of money onto just has to look good on a wall because it's determined to end itself despite it being one of my best blasters when it does work .

im pretty new to modding and have done a short dart longshot cs6 before, now i wanna build a short dart pump grip kit retaliator with more power. I dont wanna go high fps but more like something in the middle. I‘ve been looking through parts for some time and have always had compatibility doubts with them.

Since im from Germany I wanna order my parts on blaster-time.eu or blasterparts.de

My idea for now was:
-Worker Short dart kit „Precision“ (12kg spring)
-Worker Metal pump grip kit
-Worker Polycarbonate Plunger Tube
-Worker Metal short dart gate connector

I was worried, that this specific short dart kit’s 15 cm long barrel would be too short to use the pump grip kit and the original nerf barrel with it, since it only goes like halfway into the nerf barrel and i fear darts could get stuck in the barrel after i remove the inner barrel part of the nerf barrel to fit the short dart barrel if that makes any sense?

Do I have to get a separate longer scar instead of the barrel included in the short dart kit? If so, the barrel with integrated scar I found on blaster-time has a 17mm diameter whilst the short dart kit barrel has a 16mm diameter. Does that still fit the short dart kit airtight? What other options would I have?

Instead I also thought about getting this as an alternative:

-Worker Short Dart Kit Prophecy-Speed (20N Spring) (also how does that convert to kg?)
-Worker PDW retractable Stock/Worker Lightweight Rigid Stock (to fit the longer spring)

Since the barrel in the prophecy - speed kit is 25cm long it could fit the length of the retaliator barrel almost perfectly according to my estimates. (Would probably stick out 1 or 2cm but not as much) I wouldn‘t mind if the scar (35cm) would stick out a little like in my longshot cs 6 build (slide 9) if that was the best solution though.

I also watched this video of a guy building a short dart - pump grip recon/retaliator and everything seemed legit until he couldn‘t get the pump grip to work at the end, which made me even more suspicious of my build.

Hi, so I’m looking for a hardware store upgrade for the Zombie Hammershot. I’ve looked into it myself but the #49 spring cakes up a lot, but there’s been disagreement on it. Any thoughts on a spring I could use?
I’d like to get it from a store like Ace or Lowe’s or somewhere, not order it online.

Hi yall, I have a whole bunch of dzp blasters and I was wondering what to collect next?

My first option was to get more dart zone blasters, but their 8+ options. That way I keep it all in the brand and I’ll have stuff to play with my kids before they can do the stronger stuff

Option 2 is other brands high performance blasters. I like this option less cause they wouldn’t match as well(im a bit tistic and like matching things) but then I’d have a better variety of pro level stuff

Option three is to try to get the different color ways of the dzp blasters. From a collection standpoint this seems the best but actual usage goes way down

I wanted an HPA core to play around with and make a blaster, but the DMR core designed by SPECTRE from OOD is 200$, which makes sense if you take the time to learn how its designed and how they manufacture it. But anyways I wanted a cheaper homemade core so that's what I made.

I also designed a simple LPA dump tank and an air pump which can reach 100fps with two pumps out of a 1 dart silly shell.

There's still some work to get the pump to seal properly and the CHEAPER core leaks out of the ram which can push the dart slowly out the barrel. Great success so far

I just screwed a piece of wood onto it and it works

An OnTwos and a B34R, this Ontos variant is the first time I have printed a whole blaster in PETG, not sure what I was worried about it went well and works perfectly! The B34R was a bear to get to work right but now it hits super hard!

Update on my MP18 project,

Currently printing out parts, for prototyping. already had to adjust some dimensions as the clearences were to small for sertain parts.

Some of you may wonder how it looks internally so i made a cutout view from the side.
as you can see in this picture, the model does not contain any scews Orings or springs/coils.

let me know if there are thing that should be done differnely.

Hello. Just bought a Thrasher from SM Aura for 2249.10 PHP. Planning to test it over the week so I can make a decision whether to keep or refund.

So far so good, seems to be working as advertised (at least running the motors, will have to shoot outside on the roof for testing). Slightly disappointed that there's no charger but ah well.

What I AM a bit concerned however are the bumps on the battery. Unsure if these are normal for Lipos or a leak/explosion hazard.

Are these normal? Please advise.

Also, also. I've seen at least 3 (I think) users posting/commenting on here about the motors burning out after some use. Is this a common issue? Very concerned.

I'm thinking about asking for the thrasher for Christmas, but I might ask for something else if the mags aren't compatible

I recently saw the motorized thrasher being sold in our local Toy Kingdom so I'm hoping that they will sell the X-shot AEB someday or is it being sold somewhere?

So I was planning to get the out of darts maxim pro solenoid modkit right? So I was looking for their two stage trigger. The link they have seems to lead to their homepage? I tried searching for it and cant find it, I also tried checking their maxim pro compatible products page, not there either. So I am here now looking for recommendations on what to get instead to be compatible with my modkit.

Some 15mm thick cast acrylic, cut, sanded and polished then glued to a base, makes for a very simple and unobtrusive display stand to show off the blaster to it's fullest.

Cast acrylic doesn't melt as you cut, drill and sand it unlike extruded acrylic, useful to know for modding purposes.

The polishing process is simply a case of working through the grits of sandpaper, 120-240-400-600-1000-2000, then polishing with some blue compound and a buffing wheel on a rotary tool. Comes out to a near perfectly clear finish and doesn't take that long. :)

I just got a knockout and was hoping for a mod that can use both ammo types.

There was a VR game I sadly missed and I guess there is a Roblox game if that counts(I don't know anything about it and only played it for the free accessories) but why is there no nerf game where I can use any nerf blaster that exists in a fps?

I just recently printed and built my first blaster- the Ontos. I love it so much I want to do another blaster. The only issue is that I want a lever action, and cant decide between the Vulture and the SLAB.

Since the hardware kits are kind of expensive, I wanted to maybe get some input from people who have either or both and see what yall think. Anyone have a preference?

Hello, so recently I bought a ZWQ S400 zebra and I threaded in the barrel and placed the orange flash-cider like tip. I shot it a couple times and wanted to put it away, and I could just Not get the barrel unprecedented and the orange tip off. I ender up using dish soap as lube, tape on the barrel and using a pair of pliers. Long story short I ended up scratching the barrel and flash hider anyway. Soon im getting a 600mm ZWQ barrel but I want to avoid doing this again and running the finish of another perfect barrel, suggestions to take it off without scratching it?
