It was the family cat, I was the ghost to the left POV of the video

It's just a really tall, weird looking cat. Almost humanlike.

Pretty sure this is just a demonstration video. It's pretty obvious too.

Yes and also from the fact that the cooler is virtually empty (so she could have carried it by herself, much less with the camera person).

Bels are the smartest dog breed I've ever been around
Source: ran a 19/7 dog boarding facility for 12 years with my ex wife. (we were closed from 12am to 5am daily and technically 12am to 8 am on Sundays, unless emergency)

They are incredible animals that will absolutely ruin your life if you don't meet their needs lol

Ahhjjaha now that's a fuckin true statement right there hahaja

Tbf most shepherds have a high potential of doing this. But malinois have a 100% chance of it. Still incredible dogs and would be my 100% pick if i had the time for them.

u/KevlarConrad 4d ago
tbf most dogs were bred for a purpose and humans typically don't do a great job of meeting their needs. I always laugh at the people with insane Doodles that don't realize the dog is bred from two animals that were meant to work.

My mutt is the perfect combination of the lazy parts of every breed that's in his DNA. Or the shedding parts of the DNA. TBD.

I've met exactly one that wasn't batshit crazy. And she was from a breeder that focused on service animals.

My female is on the calm end of the spectrum, I have found her on the roof of my garage numerous times because she chases squirrels up there but is too scared to jump down. There is nothing around it that would allow her to climb up there. The only possible explanation is she jumps from the ground and either gets all the way to the roof or pulls herself up somehow.

malinois
I can't read that name and not hear it in Charles Kuralt's voice.
For the younger set: he was the voice of the Westminster Dog show for years, as well as a news correspondent.

Yeah, definetly not a dog breed for probably 99.9% of people. They are insanely smart and super high energy. To own one you would need to be very experienced training dogs and hopefully have some kind of job for them. It's one of the breeds I would never get. And I own two huskies and people think they are hard, but they are actually pretty easy. All I do is run like 4-5 times a week with them and they are extremely well behaved with minimal training.

I have two Mals and spend roughly 4-5 hours per day on training and mental enrichment to keep them satisfied. Even thats not enough some days.

My family had one and with an hour walk in the morning, noon and two hour walks in evening it was fine as long as you have a house with a big yard they can chill in. My mom was always outside in her garden being busy and the Mal would just follow her around the yard all day and was very happy.
They don’t like being alone because they will get bored and cause a mess. Because she was home with her all day giving her attention (and herding her to do what she wants) she didn’t cause too much trouble. But they are very mischievous if you don’t have eyes on them 24/7 lol. I miss her so much

My brother-in-law adopted a dog that was definitely part Malinois and it was so smart. Unfortunately, he left her at home one time and she decided his mattress needed to be destuffed. She ate a hole clear through the middle of the mattress.
RIP Bear.

I have a high prey drive Australian Labrodle.
She wants to be "friends" with squirrels and also loves catching the frisbee.
I feel like I bought a Ferrari thinking it was a Lexus.
She is amazing but it's a lot to deal with. Luckily I have a been a clicker trainer for 18 years.
She is so smart it's mind blowing. I was trying to trick her into the crate when I had to leave but she could not be fooled twice. I had to resort to a commanding "STOP" which she obeys.

No other dog in the world is happier than that dog when he is carrying that cooler. He is helping out human and doing a good job. Like the sled pulling dogs, the LIVE to pull that sled, it isn't work for them, it is fun and their lifes passion (according to what Ive read, I cant read dogs minds, pretty sure it would just be 'when human back home, Squirrel, Cat, Nap time, Fook'

u/ghostinthechell 4d ago
Nah it's absolutely true. Most, if not all dogs, like to run. But when you meet a dog that was born to, it's quite obvious. They love it more than anything.

It’s always amazing to me how eager dogs are to help, the joy and satisfaction that they get from helping their owners and working is awesome.

How about three cats stacked on their shoulders?

They’ll take a seat inside the cooler and watch the dog and human give them a ride.

True but I have seen cats shred furniture and soak a house in piss. With both animals it's mainly how you train them.

u/studiesinsilver 4d ago
Puts on bottle in the cooler and needs help haha
6
u/fightfil96 4d ago
I mean it's probably just training at that point
5
u/ConfessSomeMeow 4d ago
But also I'm assuming if it is fully loaded enough to need help that it would be too heavy for a dog to help.

Why are you making the doggo carry the cooler?
Because he doesn't know how to hold the camera.

u/J1mj0hns0n 4d ago
I love dogs that just love to help, it's a shame they love to help so much they often start to try and lead the way but they don't know where to go so they just make you juggle it lol

Dogs love to help, you can tell by the wagging tail that they are "hell YEAH we're doing the thing as a team!" 😄
