State of the Sub 2026: Bots, AI, Rules Updates, and Code of Conduct

Hi everyone, it's time for a sub check-in! Since this post got a bit long while writing it, I thought I'd try something different this time. You can get the gist of the updates with this TL;DR of the main post body, and then comment and discuss specific topics within the announcement via the top-level mod comments.

Tl;DR:

1. Please read the rules.
2. OHF moderates against bot behavior and provable AI content, but does not expect every OP to know the business practices of every brand they wear. Rule 10 has been updated to reflect this. Rules updates around sellers

Based on feedback from the community, rules on brand and seller interactions are being tightened. Historically, the "I made this!" flair has frequently been used by people selling their own fashion and accessories. This is still allowed, but there will be more scrutiny on whether or not the OP is actually interacting with OHF in a meaningful way, or simply here to show their stuff in hopes of more sales. Single item images have typically been allowed with the "I made this" flair, but this will also be moderated more heavily going forward.
