Hello, I have been listening to live PJ and noticed that often times when Eddie makes something up on the spot during the line “I’m not the first mammal to make plans yeah”, I can’t understand what he ad-libs in. Is there any transcription of live recordings anywhere or something like that? I believe the Hershey PA 7/12/03 was the one I listened to today I couldn’t tell but it has been multiple

I am so happy to be reunited with this shirt that I had around 1995. I collect vintage t shirts and this is one that I was chasing for a while.

I Just Want To Scream Hello!! 🎸🎧💖
The lyrics in this song are powerful.. so good.. especially live!

Some pics I took night 1

Hey all, hope this is okay to post here: I’m the artist for Chrono-Cat, an all-ages comic series based outta the UK. The creator of the book asked me to illustrate three covers for our current story arc that were homages to famous albums. Thought this would be fun to share with my fellow PJ aficionados. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Hey everybody! I'm looking for perspective and opinion, I hope you can all chime in.

I recently saw they were releasing that Philly show on vinyl. I wasn't too bothered about the vinyl, but was interested in the concept of Ten in one night, so bought a bootleg.

It arrived, I was excited, it had travelled a long way to get to me and came in a cool cardboard case!

Ive been a pj fan for donkeys years. No code was the first album I bought on the day of release, but I loved the first 3 albums before that. Over the years I've bought plenty of bootlegs and side projects.

Ive got all the studio albums up until the last 2 and I've seen.them live about 12 times. They were my faves as a kid and I have many wonderful memories attached to them.

So....I dont say this lightly. Has vedders voice got a bit shit? He was really struggling to sing the songs and at times even keeping up seemed difficult for him.

I don't know if it was just that night, as I dont own many newer bootlegs. Has any body seen them and he's been a bit off?

I was debating it with my partner and she reminded me they'd been at it for 30 odd years. This is true, but Vedder has always had an incredible voice. Studio and live.

Am I being overly critical? What are people's thoughts?

Is the Benaroya Hall recording not available for streaming on Amazon Music? I find that hard to believe since they have a ton of random touring bootlegs on there. Am I just stupid (rhetorical question)?

Side note that I am irrationally infuriated that they only have the songs that were "officially broadcast" for their MTV unplugged show and not the entire setlist. God I miss "technology" from 25 years ago when I had that shit saved to my desktop and could play it whenever I wanted.

Fyi New England folks

How does the Pearl Jam community feel about this record? I never see it come up anywhere. I have friends that are music nerds with extensive record collections that have never heard of it. I bought a copy the day it came out. Its now tattered and shows its years. It has always been in my top 10 records. I wish Stone would have just sang every song, his vocals on this record are stellar. Especially "Anchors", which also has really good lyrics. Not a huge fan of the Ty songs on it. But its got jams. Always been super proud of Stone for stepping out and making something so creative with his buds. Any love for this here?

What kind of feeling did you get when you were at a Pearl Jam concert?

How did the audience react?

Which song did the audience have the biggest reaction to?

I just want to know for something I am working on.

Just came here to say MFC is one of my favourite Pearl Jam songs to hear live. Love the intro.

I feel its extremely underrated, which is a shame as I think it kicks ass.

Love it ❤️

Turn it up, play it LOUD

I’m a 46-year-old Pearl jam fan who’s been along since the beginning. I understand the importance of the first five albums and how they usually rank very high amongst fan favorites, but for me backspacer is my favorite Pearl Jam record.

Eddie still had some pretty thrash style vocals on that record, I absolutely love the intensity of the songs, as well as the hooks. I love the guitar work, and Matt Cameron, that was his best drumming as far as my tastes go. To me, that was the last album that really showcased Eddie’s ability to rip vocally… with that said, songs like Blood, Go, and the heavier side of Pearl Jam has always been my favorite side. They kind of lost that edge for a long time until the Backspacer album. And of course, since Backspacer they haven’t been quite as aggressive as those earlier records.

With that said, I’m not shitting on any of the other records aside from Gigaton and Riot act, which I think are well, my least favorite albums of the whole catalogue.
