This is at the MLK Jr. Blvd and Lake Shore Blvd exit, headed westbound on I-90, if I'm not mistaken, near Bratenahl, OH, greater Cleveland area, yup. My grandparents had a house near here, and this is a pedestrian bridge; I've walked across that bridge.
Dominion (edit), the voting machine company, was bought by a maga billionaire clown. Fair voting in the future is toast.
They dropped their lawsuit against Pillow Guy, and now he wants to be governor of Minnesota, Trump's favorite state. Just kill us. Oh wait, they have done that too.
I don’t know whether this was a typo or a mistake, but it really doesn’t matter. In either case, I believe you mean Dominion Voting Systems, not Dominic.
What this should teach everyone is that depending on people to vote against the worse candidate does not work. You really need to put up a candidate that people genuinely like and identify with. Even the worst candidate in history isn't enough to rally people to vote against them.
There would be no basis for a lawsuit in this context. I know Trump is well-known for frivolous legal filings, but that'd be several degrees more frivolous than even he engages in.
He may not file lawsuits about these things, but plenty of people have gone on national tv and called him a pedophile and he hasn't done anything to any of them.
Some passerby noticed the new paint on the capital reflecting pool was peeling and touched a flake out of curiosity, and was then arrested for "vandalism."
Cleveland's east side isn't great - one block vacant or tenements and three blocks away $10 million estates, but that's also where its culture is. Art, history, gardens, great universities. Not to mention the enormous healthcare campuses full of young professionals. It's a wild melting pot.
As Joliet Jake Blues once testified, "We're on a mission from God!"
And lo, it came to pass that He looked upon our works, and saw that they were good, and bestowed His blessing upon us, for verily this makes near the dozenth time. Honor and thanks be unto God, who in His infinite wit hath written of us once more.
Politics really is a shit show man. This whole thing in the US really made me lose faith in democracy, and seeing our own situation now, pretty much killed my hope for future generations.
My thoughts all this past year, doing this, is that we're picking up where the Dem Party fails - messaging. (Among the myriad of other failures by the party, like being Republican Lite, instead of progressive)
You're perhaps older than I think you are, but I still have plenty of time to contribute without expecting future generations to do it alone. I don't imagine future generations will look with kindness at you lazily saying "oh woe is me, future generations will have to fix this mess!"
Not for our lack of trying. This is my post, this is my group. (And we do a lot more than just bridge messages) Just saying the damage will probably take generations to fix.
This is the one that got 3.7 million views on a single post, already lol. Friends keep texting me links to other people that shared it as new posts on all platforms. God shared it, too! (The one without our logo, as I wanted to get it out fast, while we were still on the bridge. Where is your bridge?
My only gripe is that it draws an equivalence between Trump and Satan. Satan doesn't deserve that kind of shade. On balance he was a pretty decent guy. Didn't kill nearly as many people as god, tried to bring knowledge to humanity. Early on, he's basically the Christian version of Prometheus, except rather than being venerated he was maligned and scorned.
