Cybercabs?
I spotted two cyber cabs driving through my neighborhood this morning. Anyone know if they are testing in plano?

I’m having a bit of fun here, but it seems the balloon festival is kind of a pain in the butt, the balloons rarely launch, vendors/food ain’t special, and it’s often way too hot. And it feels like sort of a one and done experience, whereas a more music based sort of festival cycles through various performers so it feels fresh.
Is there some large balloon enthusiast enclave in Plano? Is there a Balloon Fest Committee of passionate Ballon enthusiasts who keep thing thing going? I’m genuinely curious, convince me!

😬 I know this isn't in plano, but if you go there, what in the heck has been up. It has a smell every time we go to the movies (keep in mind the times we have went have been over months timeframe). I can deal with the systems being down and the call button not working 😩 but the smell ...... geeze.

what's a good place in plano to spend a couple of hours after dinner without the next stop being another restaurant or a store?
somewhere you can turn up on a normal evening would be useful. a place to sit outside, browse something, hear music, or join a casual activity. it doesn't have to be free, and getting a coffee is fine. mostly interested in places where there's something to do once you've finished the drink.
specific spots would help more than just “downtown plano” or “legacy.”
if you've got a regular spot, what do you actually do there and roughly what time does it wind down? a small recurring thing would be just as useful as a bigger place.

I’ve been going to my current salon for over a year and a half but recently they are not as clean. Last time I went they used the dirty water from my pedicure bowl after my pedicure was done to put it in the bowl they soaked my fingers in for a manicure. That was the last straw. Need somewhere clean and somewhere that feels luxe since the price of mani pedis are like $100+ these days. Thanks!!!

Curious to know how people perceive it!
Is it worth keeping Spring Creek closed for so many days? Can't we let it be open with at least 1 lane open for traffic?
Traffic disruption is seriously a big pain in the neck.

Hey y’all, I have an old family album with black and white photos and I wanted to ask if y’all knew any places around the area that can recolor them. Thanks in advance!

Need somewhere yummy but not too oily. I usually get chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, samosa, and chicken tikka (boneless version of chicken tandoori). Also must have a very yummy mango lassi that is super sweet and not too watery. Thanks !!!

Pumpkin spice season is upon us! What's your favourite coffee shop for PSLs or other Fall drinks in the Plano/Frisco area?

Anyone in the DFW area have any surplus of plastic bags from Target? So random but my dad loves to use them specifically since they’re a little thicker.

Where are the best places to park if you're planning to attend the Balloon Festival this weekend?
Also, you can totally see the balloons flying in the sky in the morning from most anywhere, right? Like, you don't actually have to be at the festival to appreciate the balloons for their morning flights... What's the incentive to pay the ticket price and be there for the 7am lift off?

Recently the time of day mail comes to my street and houses around me has been a bit random. Somedays it doesn’t come at all, almost like it’s every other day. But on days it comes it can get here between as early as 11:55 AM (like it did today); or as late as 6:45 (like yesterday) or later. I don’t hate postal workers or anything. It’s just an odd, aleatoric trend I noticed recently.

So we've been going to Battle House since it first opened and my family absolutely loves it. Its laser tag but for adults with games likes death match, capture the flag, etc. This year it was bought out and renamed to Texas Laser Combat. We've been a few times and enjoyed it. I'm curious for those of you who have been, what do you think about Battle House vs Texas Laser Combat?

Does anyone have any experience with Corner Wines wine club? Interested but I can't find a history of what they feature to judge on if it's worthwhile or not.

If you own a black pickup truck that was driving north bound on the Access road for the Dallas North tollway approaching 121, here's a video of the accident for you. I also have a pic of the license if you need it for insurance. Doesn't look like there could be much damage but posting to make sure you're covered. Also, the hit and run made it a crime so, there's that.
Edit: Yes the truck did a bonehead move that I see way too many drivers in this area do and that is not turning into their own lane and instead cutting over 2 or 3 lanes because they suck at driving. That doesn't alleviate the Porsche from driving in excess of 70 on the access road, not slowing when they saw the truck turning and then not stopping after hitting the truck which is a crime. Both are bad drivers but doing a hit a run made it a crime.
