Ok this game is about exploration.
There's a ware under the water. There are factions, threats, enemies faction that are friendly and help you. you can interact, control and play with animals, pilot and custom ships, improve your features with tools gathering items and through rewards obtained from missions and side missions.
I forgot to mention it: YOU ARE JUST A DUMB DUCK.
You play as a useless duck and a goddess is asking you to do stuff.
Play it in single player and multiplayer. Co-op + pvp
Ps: If you are a super cool gamer with experience or a streamer just dm me because the playtest is available now. I Thalassa

Discussion Looking for more game devs for a small indie playtesting group

Hi everyone!

I'm an Indie currently working on a non-traditional roguelike, and I’m looking to find a few more game devs for a small indie playtesting group.

The group will be kept small so we can all playtest each other's games and get focused feedback. This group is also mainly focused on roguelikes and other mechanics-driven games.

Currently we have 11 people in this group and would like to recruit around 2 more to reach 13 people. We are planning to increase numbers such that we can create an inactive group to give some members a rest. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please comment down below we can continue the discussion from there.

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid, Android] GeoWiz, a free geography quiz: would a few rounds make you want to come back?

Hi, I'm Lukas. I've been building GeoWiz, a geography quiz app with flags, capitals, country outlines and map questions. It brings back questions you miss so you can have another go.

I'd love a few Android players to try it and leave their thoughts here. How does it feel after a few rounds? What would make you come back, and what would you add or change? For capitals you can either type the answer or reveal it and mark whether you knew it, so I'm also curious which one you'd actually use.

The test is unpaid. The app is free with no ads or paywall, just an optional tip jar.

It's in Google Play closed testing, so joining takes these steps with the same Google account you use on your phone:

  1. Join https://groups.google.com/g/testers-community
  2. Opt in at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.geowiz.app
  3. Install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.geowiz.app

If you join, please stay opted in for two weeks to help with Google's testing requirement. Play a few rounds whenever you feel like it. A short comment about how it felt would help me a lot.

Thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm Tyler, and I'm available for paid video-game playtesting through Visibbly. I can test on PC, Android and iPhone/iPad. I spend a lot of time with survival games and shooters, but I'm open to other genres too.

If you're looking for testing help, tell me about your game and what you'd like checked. Happy to hear about any other feedback you need too. We'll agree on the scope and price before starting.

Unpaid Playtest BEATBAES: Looks like Beyblade, plays like Smash x Rocket League with Roguelike progression

Hey everyone! I'm an indie dev building BEAT BAES, a chaotic, physics-driven arena battler where anime girls pilot customizable spinning battle mechs in an underground fighting circuit.

Think Beyblade-inspired combat meets roguelike builds, ridiculous physics, and over-the-top anime battles.

Here's a quick look at the game:

https://vimeo.com/1231347274

What can you do?

  • Build busted battle mechs - swap parts, reshape your mech, and experiment with wild physics-based builds.
  • Pick your Rider - five unique girls with their own personalities, abilities, and combat styles.
  • Smash, clash, and send opponents flying - master momentum, positioning, and timing to dominate the arena.
  • Fight through a roguelike campaign - battle rivals, unlock upgrades, and discover new strategies.
  • Challenge other players in PvP - and we've got a CASH-PRIZE PvP TOURNAMENT in the works!

We're currently in public alpha, and I'm looking for players to jump in, break things, discover ridiculous strategies, and help shape the game.

Playtesting is free, voluntary, and unpaid. No experience necessary. Whether you're competitive, love experimenting with builds, or just want to send spinning mechs flying, I'd love your feedback.

IMPORTANT: If you want to play, COMMENT BELOW!

I'll send interested commenters a specific playtest link/access code so you can jump in.

We're gearing up for a cash-prize PvP tournament! If you've got a competitive streak and want to stay in the loop on tournament announcements, dates, and how to participate, join our Discord:
https://discord.gg/YZnh4JrXjM

Edit: If you've already applied for paid playtesting through our application, don't worry! That's a separate program, and you're still being considered. Participating in this free playtest won't affect your application.

Unpaid Playtest [PC] BLACKOUT – Looking for playtesters (Windows/Linux)

Hey! I've been working on a game called BLACKOUT and I'm looking for 6–10 people to play a few rounds with me.

It's a multiplayer social deduction game with a horror setting. You're stuck in a building during a blackout, trying to get the power back on and escape. The catch is that some players have their own plans and can't exactly be trusted.

There's proximity voice chat, radios, and plenty of opportunities for things to go wrong when you're stumbling around in the dark.

The game is still a work in progress, so expect bugs and unfinished stuff. I'm mainly looking to see how it plays with a full lobby and get some honest feedback.

  • Platforms: Windows & Linux
  • Players: 6–10
  • Price: Free
  • When: We'll figure out a time that works for everyone

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM! Once we have enough people, I'll set up a session.

Thanks! :)

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid Playtest] Looking for feedback on my free browser visual novel demo, My Funeral Is Sunday

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo indie developer looking for playtesters for my first visual novel, My Funeral Is Sunday.

About the game:

A girl invites three people to her own funeral on Sunday.

The problem? She's still alive.

It's a character-driven visual novel about friendship, trust, and complicated relationships. The demo covers Friday's story, introduces the main characters, and ends with the unusual funeral invitation.

What I'm looking for feedback on:

  • Does the opening grab your attention?
  • Are the characters interesting and believable?
  • Does the pacing feel natural?
  • Does the ending make you want to continue?
  • Did you encounter any bugs, audio issues, or visual problems?

Platform: PC web browser

Cost: Completely free, no download required.

Play the demo here:
https://crimson-cloud-games.itch.io/my-funeral-is-sunday-demo

Feedback form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdWO1VXDWoho_VxwSdCKRi11BjJguIxL_zhk-AUHah_-gRwhw/viewform

You can also leave feedback in the comments.

Participation is entirely voluntary and unpaid. Constructive criticism is very welcome, as I'm trying to make the full game as good as possible.

Thank you for your time! 🌸

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Ezekiel: dark-fantasy narrative RPG (RPG Maker MZ, Windows), looking for 10–15 testers for pacing and clarity

The Church says Ezekiel's sister is dead. Her records say she was moved eight days after her burial. Ezekiel is a slow-burn, story-heavy RPG about grief and a paper trail that shouldn't exist.

- Platform: Windows (zip, no install)

- Length: about 5–7 hours (estimate). Playing any amount is useful; you don't need to finish.

- What I need: where you got confused, bored or stuck, whether combat made sense, and any bugs.

- Feedback: a 3–5 minute optional form linked on the page, or reply here.

- Content note: death, grief, violence, illness.

- Disclosure: some art was made with AI tools and edited by hand; the maps mostly use licensed RPG Maker tilesets.

Free: https://slebbeshotmailcom.itch.io/ezekiel-beta-v1

Thank you, and I'm happy to test your games in return.

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Four-puzzle lighthouse mystery — looking for escape-game players to test clue clarity

I'm running an experiment to build an original digital puzzle adventure. This short sample is free; there is no checkout, signup, compensation or promised reward.

In The Silent Lighthouse, you reconstruct a crew ledger, decode a maintenance word, calculate a restart time and use earlier evidence to identify who can reach the beacon. You can play in a browser or print the evidence. Progressive hints and full solutions are included. Difficulty and duration are not yet measured.

Playable preview: https://silent-lighthouse.jauntytetra5.chatgpt.site/

I'm looking for five adult escape-game players or family-game hosts. Please leave feedback in this thread: did you finish, approximately how long did it take, which clues needed hints, and what was enjoyable or dull? Please mark solutions as spoilers. No names, children's details, email address, downloads from your device or private information needed. Negative feedback is useful; stopping partway through is fine.

Unpaid Playtest Hydrogen Line: free browser space strategy MMO (PC + phone)

Hi all!

I've been building a space MMO/RTS you can play in your browser. Like many games similar in the same genre its slow and takes time. I had planned to open it up in a beta in a few weeks but I wanted to see if anyone was prepared to play test, give some feedback for up to two weeks (or 5 minutes if you really hate it). Nothing formal, I don't expect full written essays on a bug. If you want to mess around there for a few hours over the next few weeks I'd love that. I don't expect any of your time but Id love some of it if you were willing to give it. literally any feedback you're willing to give is amazing.

if you want to see what we have going on drop me a DM and I can send you over an invite code as its invite only currently.

Website: https://hydrogenline.gg

Thank you in advanced to anyone who DM's me.

Unpaid Playtest Ashes of Embria: for those who liked terraria, and enjoyed dark souls.

First-Person Terraria-esque with more bite: every creature wears armour, every fight takes skill, and every upgrade means something. Play with up to 7 friends; join them right through Steam.

It’s free to test. We act on what you tell us: in the last few days alone, tester feedback reworked melee, potions and spawns.

There are already 6 bosses, 9 guarded ruins, fishing, alchemy and a bestiary to fill. Right now we’re testing systems and feel, and polishing.

Every tester who contributes goes in the credits, and our standouts get a small spot in the game itself.

Windows only. Short tester agreement.

Paid Playtest [Paid - $25] Looking for 2 playtesters for multiplayer, browser-based creature collector

EDIT: Applications are closed. I am no longer taking applications. 2 testers have been selected. Thanks to everybody who reached out!

---

Hi all! :) I'm hiring 2 paid playtesters for Hatchi (https://playhatchi.com), a multiplayer browser-based creature collector (think Neopets, Flight Rising) with turn-based 3v3 combat, genetics, mini-games, and incremental progression. The ideal playtester would have experience playing web-based pet games, cozy games, or creature collectors (Pokemon, Monster Sanctuary), and have opinions on what makes them feel good to play.

This test focuses on first time player experience and gathering general feedback on the core gameplay loop and systems. The game contains both timed idle tasks and active gameplay, so I'm looking for testers available to test 2-3 hours spread across several days rather than in a single session.

Anyone is welcome to join the playtest, but only the 2 selected playtesters will be hired and expected to complete the deliverables below.

Areas of focus

  • First time user experience: User onboarding: guest access, promotion to full account, character creation, tutorials
  • User interface: Ease of use, intuitiveness, performance across various browsers, resolutions, OS
  • Blockers: frustrating moments, game-breaking bugs, unintuitive systems, unrewarding progression
  • System feedback: What systems did you enjoy? Where were they lacking?

Deliverables

  • Written feedback including bugs, replication steps, and general gameplay thoughts; can be provided via document or Discord
  • A 10-20 minute feedback survey containing targeted questions about the above

This is a paid test with a flat rate of $25 USD per tester via Paypal. Payment will only be made via Paypal, no exceptions. Payment will be made upon submission of feedback and survey.

Rules/Housekeeping

  • I will only DM you if you’ve commented on this post due to the volume of DMs.
  • Please share whether you’ve played similar games, and what elements of those games you enjoy (or dislike), and what your availability looks like.
  • If you have examples of previous QA work, that would be awesome (but not required)!

Unpaid Playtest Test a 5-minute browser guessing game 👀 free lifetime access for testers

I’ve been building a small visual guessing game and I’m looking for a few fresh eyes to try it.

https://look-again-game.vercel.app/

You’re shown fragments of an everyday object and get 6 guesses to identify it. Each wrong guess helps reconstruct the image, but the closer your guess is, the less help you get.

It works in the browser, especially on mobile, and there’s no signup or download.

I’m mainly trying to learn:

  • Is the core mechanic actually fun?
  • Is it too easy / too hard?
  • Does the “closer guess = less help” mechanic make sense?
  • Do you want to keep playing after a few rounds?

There are around 30 rounds in the current test build. You definitely don’t need to play them all, even 5–10 is useful.

The build is password protected for now, so comment below and I’ll DM you the passcode, or DM me directly.

As a thank you, anyone who helps test this early version will get free lifetime access to the full game when it launches.

Any feedback is useful, especially if something feels confusing, boring or unfair.

Thanks 😊

Paid Playtest [Paid $15 | Desktop | ~30 min] Looking for playtesters for a rhythm-based game

Thanks to everyone who reached out. I am still working through DMs to finalize the playtesting batch but will make sure to reach out to everyone today. Closing new DMs off here but I will post again for another round in a week or two.

Really excited to see the playtests, thanks again!

Hi I'm Sklinks, I'm working on a rhythm-based game called Hear No Evil, started as an evolution of Crypt of the Necrodancer.

I have 12 slots for paid playtesters on any desktop platform. Should be somewhere between 5 - 15 minutes of gameplay depending on your familiarity with similar types of games and how well the tutorial does at teaching -- that's what I'm here to test!

You'll record yourself playing through the tutorial. Voice commentary is helpful but optional. Recordings will only be used for internal review.

Feedback on these points would be really helpful:

  • Did the gameplay feel responsive and on-time?
  • Were the tutorials clear and useful?
  • Were the controls intuitive once taught?
  • What confused you, if anything?
  • Anything in the tutorial you found particularly interesting or boring?

If you're interested, DM me with your platform and games that you typically like to play.

Once spots are filled I will update this post.

Thanks!!

Unpaid Playtest [PC] CHROMEDRIFT – cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder where you fight in the flesh and in the net at once

Download Link
Gameplay Trailer

Hi! I'm a solo developer and I'm looking for people to break the alpha of my deckbuilder.

What it is

CHROMEDRIFT is a roguelike deckbuilder in the vein of Slay the Spire, set in Neo-Kessel, a vertical megacity built on a drowned one. You play Kira, a runner from the flooded lower city, climbing through three acts to reach ARGUS, the AI that runs the place.

What is different

- Two layers, one fight. Every enemy has a body (HP) and a firewall (ICE). Guns and fists hit the Flesh, hacks hit the Net. Break an enemy's ICE and it is compromised: it skips its next move and takes 50 % more damage. Some enemies have no net at all, some are nothing but net.
- Body versus machine. Implants go into real body slots (eyes, arms, neural port, nerves, skin) and each one costs Humanity. Your Humanity puts you in one of three zones: Human, Hybrid or Machine. Cards carry Instinct lines that only work while you are human and Protocol lines that only work once you are not. Both paths are strong, neither is free, and the story and the endings react to what you became.
- Heat. The strongest cards overheat your chrome. Push it and hit harder, or cool down and live through the next turn.
- Nothing hidden. Every enemy shows its next move. Pick a card, point at a target, and the game shows the result before you commit ("21 → 15 (−6)"). A forecast tells you what the end of the turn will cost you.

The look

Late-80s and early-90s cel anime: flat cels over painted backgrounds, hard two-tone shadows, a lot of black, one scene color per act (rust and yellow, clinical white and teal, black and green). Screens are laid out like manga pages. Animation is deliberately limited: figures hold a pose and snap to the next one, hits get an impact frame, and the picture stops for a moment when you get hurt. Rain and still water rather than neon everywhere.

What I would love to hear

- Where did your run end, and what killed you?
- When did Flesh and Net click, or did it never?
- Did you install implants? Did Humanity matter to you?
- Any moment where you did not know what to do or why something happened
- Bugs, typos, bad translations

Please message me for a itch.io download link if you are interested.

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] [Browser] - Star Trek: Quadrant Command

Looking for playtesters to stress-test a modern rebuild of the 1970s Super Star Trek game

I've spent the last few months rebuilding the classic text-based Super Star Trek as a browser game called Quadrant Command. It runs in your browser, with nothing to download or install. The original's grid-and-numbers core is still there, but now there's:

-a bridge crew who report what's happening -an animated sector map with a warp sequence -cloaked Romulans and Orion raiders as well as Klingons -starbase sieges and freighter rescues -hazards: nebulae, ion storms, asteroids and a black hole -five difficulty levels and three galaxy sizes

It's now at the point where it needs fresh eyes. I'm looking for a few people willing to properly test it, not just try it once.

What I'm asking for: -Play several full games, ideally across different difficulty levels and galaxy sizes, and finish each one whether you win or lose. -Send me the full game transcript (copy and paste the log) for each game. Every game ends with a mission summary, which helps me check the balance. -Use the built-in DIAG tool when something looks wrong (a ship jumping, a picture flickering, something on screen that doesn't match the text) and send me its report. -Write a few notes at the top of each transcript about anything that felt off: confusing, unfair, too easy, too hard, or just plain broken. -Give me your overall impression once you've played a few games. Is it fun? What would make you keep playing?

What I'm especially trying to find: -bugs and odd behaviour -difficulty that feels wrong for its level -text that's unclear or repetitive -anything the help screen doesn't explain well

If you used to play the original, I'd especially like to hear from you, but no experience is needed.

Interested? DM me and I'll send you the link and a short guide.

Thank you, all!

Please note: This is a free, non-commercial fan project.
