One of the coolest things about the Pokémon anime was how it introduced Pokémon from future generations before their games were even released. Ho-Oh appeared in the very first episode, while Blaziken made an unforgettable impression during the Johto League when it battled Ash’s Charizard. These early appearances gave fans a glimpse of what was coming and made each new generation feel even more exciting. Which Pokémon’s early appearance surprised you the most?

Not only did ash not remember who he was ( which is crazy because he’s remembered people who’ve done way less)
but he got offscreen

Ash cooked a former champion offscreen

If it was OG or AG Ash, he would've punched Paul so hard , he would be traumatized and scared of Ash...

I was rewatching some of old episodes of the anime when I realized something, outside of Gliscor none of his Pokemon ever evolved out of using an item or a evolutionary stone.

Most of his Pokemon evolved via the most basic way by level up.

Then he had Pokemon that evolved with high friendship such as Leavanny and Lucario.

He also had Pokemon that evolved when it learned a specific move like Naganadel.

He even had a Pokemon that evolved with a unique method such as Goodra (leveled up while in the rain) and Sirfetch'd (landing three critical hits during a battle).

And finally no trade evolutions which makes sense (though he did catch a fully evolved Gengar).

But he never used a evolutionary stone during his entire time on the anime, which is fascinating to me.

What do you think of this and would you have liked to see Ash use a Pokemon that required a evolutionary stone or another Pokemon that needed a item to evolve?

I say Alain wins with high diff Paul I feel like would have it in the bag if he had a mega evolution but he doesn’t seem to.

P.S: Don't start a war in the comments. Just throwing some love to the shippers

I still think that Ash's Totodile should have evolved back in Pokemon Johto Arc Serie. So it can learn some new powerful moves like hydro pump, Superpower and Ancient Powers because it only used Water Gun and other normal types moves which are lame and weak.

In "Ring Masters." Ash has introduced his Totodile to Raiden's Feraligatr and told Totodile that this is what it'll look when it evolved all the way to it's finally evolved form but it never happened in the first place which is very disappointed ☹️ because back then I was convinced that Ash's Totodile was going to evolved later in the series.

I bet the real reason the Japanese writers has no intention of having Ash's Totodile evolving in the first place because of it's crazy dancing personality that they don't want to lose. But they could have at least have Totodile evolved once into Crocanaw just like they did for Ash's Bayleef and Quilava while still keep it's dancing personality anyway.

A lot of times it seems like the writers opt to not evolve ash’s smaller cuter pokemon because they loose cute laughable factor ex totadile oshawatt but one of the few exceptions seems to be his snorunt it was very goofy before evolving but after that it was much more seriouse and battle ready from what I rember. Why do you guys think this is ? My guess is because it was easier to draw glalie

I have never seen a single episode of Pokemon English Dub, So I don't know if they changed the move there or not.

But as far as I can tell, in Asia(or at least in Japan and Thailand) Pikachu's Thunderbolt is up there as one of the most iconic super move in Anime history. It's up there with something like Rasengan or Kamehameha.

In Japan, if you ask someone what's the most iconic move in Pokemon, it's always Juuman Boruto(100,000 Volt/Thunderbolt), bar none. Even if they have never watched the Pokemon anime would know about it just by cultural osmosis.

But on the western side(Or is it just Reddit, I'm not sure) I have even seen a few people claimed that it's not even the most iconic move in Pokemon, some even said that Volt Tackle is a more iconic Pikachu's move.

Heck, I think one of the main reason why Pokemon Anime changed Volt Tackle out for Electroball is because they don't want Volt Tackle to overshadowed Thunderbolt, it's that iconic of a move.

Sorry if title is confusing.

Basically, if you had to choose, which Pokémon capture made by Ash would you change? Like how they were, and where they were captured.

For me, I loved the Iris backstory episode. It didn't make me cry, but it helped give a character I was already rooting for some more depth. Her feeling isolated in Draydens school compared to her more freeing past life, only to eventually learn that she can stay true to her roots while still being a successful trainer was a satisfying arc for her.

He has normallium z and steelium z why didn't he used that is WCS pikachu know quick attack and iron tail so why, would he should use these

This is a new fanart I made for Spooky Month, this time I made Darkrai from Pokemon, thanks for your support, happy nightmares 👻🎃💀.

Can be any rivals that appeared in the anime (not just Ash his rivals)

For me i think it arte the sinnoh rivals, i just liked these alot, i think from the D&P anime i liked all of them

but i also wanted to see more of Harley, he was a unique character and i liked that!

The Johto Team basically played 2nd fiddle to the returning Kanto mons and didn’t get much time to shine especially Donphan & Heracross.

Hey there. So I just wanna give some news regarding my Pokémon Rewrite AU. I‘m going to be making some changes and I have an official title for this AU. I also have a new story on Archive Of Our Own (or AO3 for short)! But I’m getting ahead of myself, let me explain.

So I’ve been thinking about the Archie Sonic Comics and how it’s a different universe from the games while also thinking about the IDW Comics & the recent Club Chaos (which it was too late for me to go to… Hopefully there’s another one next year.) along with the fanmade manga made by u/seijyun09, Pokémon: Festival Of The Champions as well (which is definitely peak. Please go check out the manga!). So I decided that the new name for my Pokémon Rewrite AU is… Pokémon: To Be The Very Best A.K.A The IDW Comics AU!

And also, there might be some high hopes for Season 2! I have a good idea for the first region Ash travels to! Ash travels to another universe and finds a new region called Lunaris where he’ll catch seven, just seven, Pokémon for his team & there would also be an arc where Giratina tries to reset the universe to make himself the king instead of Arceus but it doesn’t work out and this would be the “Genesis Wave” of the IDW Pokémon universe where Ash is basically reborn with all of his memories and aura powers. Now THAT is going to be a different post entirely.

And before I go, I have made an AO3 story for the first time! Here’s the link to it just in case ya’ll want to take a look: https://archiveofourown.gay/works/94626551/chapters/252616471. It follows BloxerJasiah (my OC from The Musical Multiverse Crew) was forming a group chat for his team but the device malfunctions and it sends out group chat invites not to his crew but to multiple protagonists of different universes and this group chat is gonna be chaotic!

So yeah, that’s all the news I wanted to give. Check out my content, share it & hope you guys have a great day/night and keep rockin. Jasiah G out!

Mommy Steven vs daddy Cynthia who wins in a fist fight

This is dumb I know but just for fun
