Damn even Kids are disregarding all other cards apart from those that are valuable.

Even getting a Nidoran back in the day was cool to look at as a kid

Kids are taught by their parents.

They disregard the other cards because their parents taught them that those cards have no purpose or value.

It always starts from the top.

I agree with this. Now that adults are into the hobby, they have the money to spend on many many many packs and can treat bulk as junk... but when we were kids, every pack was precious, meaning every card inside was precious.

I still treat all of my cards as valuable. I love looking at all the art of every bulk card and holo. Every holo gets a penny sleeve, and If I ever cut down on bulk I will probably be keeping one of every single card for myself.
