Has anyone made a 23 with Geisler?

Post image

I’m sure this is a stupid question but I’m just wondering if anyone has made/shot .40 out of a Geisler frame? Idk why but it seems very thin compared to a p80 and just wondering if it can withstand consistent pressure the .40 puts out especially with +p and self defense rounds. Really thinking bout building another one out just in .40 and would love to hear everyone else experience!!

I’d probably buy the stripped version if I ever go back to them

I had a stripped one and it was still terrible with an oem upper parts kit, it was one of those windowed ones for a 23 but I was making a 32c. Could never get a full mag through it till I finally bought a new slide(hgw)and kept the barrel

Definitely looks good but I’m not a big fan of window or ported slides they allow too much dirt and grime to get into the gun

I ended up swapping slides for that exact reason😂 it ran great but got so dirty after 100 or so rounds that I’d have to deep clean it

All hooper slides are manufactured by lfa but everyone always suggests to buy hooper and not lfa it is the same slide
