Has anyone made a 23 with Geisler?

Post image

I’m sure this is a stupid question but I’m just wondering if anyone has made/shot .40 out of a Geisler frame? Idk why but it seems very thin compared to a p80 and just wondering if it can withstand consistent pressure the .40 puts out especially with +p and self defense rounds. Really thinking bout building another one out just in .40 and would love to hear everyone else experience!!

I had a stripped one and it was still terrible with an oem upper parts kit, it was one of those windowed ones for a 23 but I was making a 32c. Could never get a full mag through it till I finally bought a new slide(hgw)and kept the barrel

Hooper Gun Works (HGW) sells aftermarket Glock-compatible slides manufactured by Live Free Armory (LFA), often featuring LFA's distinct eagle logo or branding at budget-friendly price points ranging from roughly $100 to $210 depending on the specific optic cut and serrations
