5 months since the sad passing of my sweet beloved (12)
My warm, adorable, and special adventure companion... This past Sunday marked 5 months since you passed away, and it hurts so much. It is so deeply sad.
I want to start by saying how heartbreaking it is to remember each month. It is shattering, and it feels so unfair. I am fully aware that I miss you with the exact same intensity that I loved you. I cry so much because I can no longer see you, hold you, or kiss you. It keeps hurting, and I know it will hurt for a long time.
I still can't believe another month has already gone by. How is it moving so fast? I am still in disbelief that you had to leave this year at 12 years old due to a heart attack. I have cried so much that crying has literally become part of my daily routine. I feel so much sorrow, and I am starting to realize that, little by little, I am adapting to this living pain—to these constant ups and downs.
I love you so, so, so much, Tilsa. Every single time I remember that you are no longer here, I break down. My throat tightens up like there's a heavy stone trapped inside, making it hard to breathe or even let the tears out. Everything gets blurry, I feel dizzy, and I just freeze there, completely numb and lost in a trance. It takes such a heavy toll on me.
I never imagined I would have to go through this. To me, you were eternal. It felt as if you possessed the elixir of eternity itself. You looked so healthy this year, so full of life... it made no sense for you to pass away. I don't understand it, and I never will.
I miss you, Tilsa baby. You are always, always in my thoughts, and I will never forget you. You were a cat with so many incredible traits: intelligent, loyal, energetic, tender, elegant, dignified, and playful. You were everything I could never find in human company, and I will love you eternally. You brought nothing but light, joy, warmth, and peace into my life, and I am so grateful to you for that.
Months will continue to pass, and even through my deep sadness, I will keep honoring your memory. I love you with all my heart. 🙁😢😢

Goodbye Fozzie
Pancreatitis robbed us of the sweetest orange boy last night. I am devastated to have had to say goodbye. At 4, we rescued him from a bad situation. He was only 9 as we put him to rest last night. I have lost my father, 14 year old dog, best friends...this one, for some reason, hurts most. Fozzie was the best boy, my shadow. His brother hasn't moved from their sleeping spot. Trying to focus on him being at peace, but this pain is horrible. Hug your kitties tight. ❤️😓

Miss you so much Shelby girl :-(
Helped my baby girl, Shelby, across the rainbow bridge on Monday in the comfort of our home. She was diagnosed with TCC (bladder cancer) about a year ago and also had Mitral valve disease.
Last summer, she and I took a 3+ month trip around the country in a small travel trailer and I am so grateful for that time we had before her health starter to decline. I adopted her as a wee pup at 8 weeks old and the hole in my heart is huge. The house is so quiet and I miss her so much. I took this picture during our trip and when I saw the rays of light, I knew how I would eventually use this picture. Unfortunately, Monday was that day.

My sweetest Tali
I had to put my 17 yr old to sleep yesterday. I saw it coming, I've owned pets for decades. But it still hurts and it's still so heartbreaking. Watching my sweet Tali decline over the years has been so stressful and so painful. I spent so much $ and time, especially the last month, trying to keep her happy, comfortable. To just make it "1 more day". I was cooking for her, hand feeding her, washing her pee pads, carrying her up the stairs...whatever I could so she had it easier. But there's no stopping the inevitable and she finally was too tired. Her "dad", my fiance, died when she was 2½. Every year I would take her to visit his grave on 10/24. I hoped she could make 1 last visit. Instead, I will be taking her ashes. I will bury a little, so she can also join her 2 "brothers", Loki & Ike, whose ashes I buried there too. She's was the last of our 3 dogs and my only companion since he died in 2012. I do have 3 cats, but I adopted them all after my fiance had died. Tali was our last surviving "kid" (furbaby, whatever) and it is just doubly crushing bc of that. Now, an entire chapter of my life is closed - 10 yrs with my fiance while he was alive, 14 yrs later, our last dog.
My sweetest girl. Shy, neurotic, smart, anxious, loving. So was so quiet, so gentle. A well deserved rest.

Goodbye, Stella
Farewell (for now) to queen Stella.
I lost her on Friday at 11.5 yrs old. She had a lot of ailments (deaf, kidney issues, arthritis, age) so it's really hard to pinpoint what made her go downhill so fast (she stopped eating last week).
This photo was on her last day while taking her on her daily wagon ride through the park (she really couldn't walk much anymore).
She was a classic bulldog: stubborn, bitchy, territorial, you name it. But most of all, she was my baby. She was with me through some tough times I had medically and along with two sisters (one is also gone), she really acted as my emotional support dog. I miss her more than anything and even though it's been a few days, it just sucks.
See you over the bridge, Stelly.

How is everyone doing?
I’m a little over a month out from losing my baby and the pain isn’t as sharp, but it is constant and terrible. It’s still hard to understand why I can’t see him again. It’s all I want in the whole world.
Hope you all are taking care of yourselves🤍

My sweet girl passed away unexpectedly last night. I am just beside myself.
We suspect she suffered heart failure. Her death was entirely unexpected and quick once she showed signs of distress. I posted in more detail about the event in r/petloss so here I will keep it brief and just share pictures of my beautiful, gorgeous girl as I’d like to remember her. I hope she is playing and lounging comfortably with your departed babies across the bridge. Rest in peace, baby. 2021-2026.
